Next time give the customer a working truck that isn't old and doesn't have any issues! When I pulled off the lot at the Tennessee st Capital SW LOCATION and got on the interstate I called the uhaul place and told them the truck wasn't pulling the speed said I was doing a speed that I wasn't! Furthermore the truck would slow down on its own, and as if it was about to cut off I had to get out the fast lane! I called them and let them know if that issue up front the guy on the other end of the phone acted lost! Then I ended up having to call back a second time after loading all my things on the uhaul to inform them that the break light came on and the ringing noise wouldn't stop, after calling them back a second time a different guy name Samuel answer the phone and I explained to him what was going on and he told me to bring the truck and switch it out to get another one this was after me having the truck for about 2hrs ! I informed him I can't do that all my items was on the truck once I take them off I would return the truck before my original drop off time! On my way their I received a freaking ticket because of the acceleration and speed was adding up ! This is my second time renting from Uhaul and my second time having issues with them! Then I was informed I shouldn't have received that truck from the start no power steering fluid, brake alignment and brakes! Uhaul you need to do damn better with the maintenance and years on your truck

The air conditioning didn't work on the 26ft truck that I rented in Tallahassee. Very uncomfortable driving in the Florida/south Georgia heat for hours. It's possible a prior customer didn't let the U-Haul office know about the A/C problem for this truck.

The worst experience ever. I still feel you owe me money. No one knew what they were doing. You forgot the furniture dolly. I had to try and get one near where I was!!! I asked for compensation instead got snotty remarks from a female one time. I know they charged me twice fora car dolly I never used! They screwed up my bank account. I lost time,money, plus things I will never get back now. Thinking of suing you and turning it into the BBB. Plus you'll never intend to stick with any RESERVATIONS MADE ONLINE!!! Personally feel I should get a full refund . Because of your negligence I have no time or money or anything to retrieve my things. We had together e most of it away! It valuedat least 5 grand+. Just sick of businesses treating me like garbage and thinking it's ok!

The representative that was friendly, fast, professional. He greeted me immediately upon entering the building, and the building is clean and organized. However, on another occasion at this same location, not during this visit, I had a very bad encounter with ANOTHER representative. I do not want for this awesome visit to go against what I endured with my visit to this same location a few weeks ago. I actually left, and went to another location about 5 miles away. I would NEVER recommend anyone else to visit this location. And the sad part is this location is very convenient, has everything for any guests' needs, but it was the customer service I encountered a few weeks ago, which was the WORST!

i wish they could have printed a receipt when i dropped off. It was fast and efficient outside. They had people using a scanner machine and i didnt even need to go inside, but i wanted some sort of proof that i returned it. I waited for the email.

I reserved a van from a different branch where I usually rent uhaul. I received a phone call telling me that they could not provide one for me and told me to go to this branch. The agent I spoke to told me that I will get $50. But when I asked the staff from the branch he told me that they got nothing to do with it and told me to call. I called and the agent told me that I am not eligible for the $50 because they found me a unit from a different branch. It costed me a lot more because the branch is further away from the place I have to move from and move into. I felt like I was scammed.

This location also ran out of paper, and could not print out my rental contract. I don't think they have a good system for ordering supplies and inventory checks. Coaching of the existing manager is badly needed. On a positive note, the truck I rented was clean and in good condition. I had a successful move.

I confirmed a drop off at a location closer to my destination (UHaul at Florida State) but upon arrival at the confirmed drop off location, I was told I would have to go to the Capital Circle Northwest location or I would be charged extra. Why would Uhaul allow me to coordinate drop off at one location, confirm that drop off location, but ultimately require me to drop off at a location further away? Uhaul needs to improve their system.

The manager was helpful but the staff person I dealt with was not. The only thing I needed was a moving dolly, which I reserved in advance. The manager went out of his way to hold one for me when none were available on my reservation date because others had not returned their equipment. But if the manager wasn't there, I would have just ended up paying full price to buy one. The display was marked wrong in the store and the employee was charging me a higher price than the big sign right on the item. Again only because the manager came out did this get resolved. When I came to return it, they were closed and the instructions I had been given did not work. There was no bar code to scan and no way to upload a photo to the app. So overall much more complicated and frustrating experience than I would have expected.

From start to finish, this was a HORRIBLE interaction. First, the reservation was moved to this location after the fact - a location on the far opposite side of town, as far away from where I live and where my storage unit as it could be. I arrived on time to get my reservation only to learn that there were NO trailers available - dispite my resevation. Oh, and for the record, their parking lot was FULL of trailers. There were easily 12-15 trailers on the lot as they told me they had none. I questioned this and the person said they would check. They walked outside and immediately came back in and told me they have NO trailers. They told me to come back tomorrow. The only thing is that when tomorrow rolled around, I had to be driving north with a trailer full of stuff. They told me to call the U-Haul as there was nothing they could do. So I called. The person was great, and they told me the location had at least TWO trailers that matched my reservation and that they could call the location to address it. I waited on hold. The representative eventually came back and they told me the location was not answering their phone and would try again. I waited longer. Eventually, they came back on the line and told me they had spoken to the manager, gave me their name, and said to go in and talk to them that the situation was addressed. I went inside and found the manager and was met with nasty and rude service. They played dumb. He said that it was employees that were on the phone, and he didn't know what I was talking about. He eventually got in a golf cart and drove around the lot to see if there were any trailers.......... which you could clearly see from where we were standing. And guess what? They had 12-15 trailers. Somehow, even though I was told repeatedly over the phone they had the size I reserved (and I could actively see them) they in fact didn't and would give me the next size up. While I didn't need the next size up, I took it as I needed the trailer. Taking the next size up resulted in more gas spent to haul more trailer than I needed - so thanks for that. The whole thing was BAD and left me shocked at just how rude everyone was and their abysmal service. When I returned the trailer, it was no better. The return area was filled with vehicles with litte to no room to try to enter to return the trailer. There was no one on duty, but there were employees around. I had to squeeze my car and trailer into a spot and go inside to get someone. I then had to unhook the trailer while the employee watched. The outcome is that we are now in the process of buying a trailer so that we will never have to deal with this location or U-Haul again. We found a great deal and will be able to get the trailer for what we are spending in half a year on rentals with U-Haul, so it will be paying for itself in no time.

THIS WAS BY FAR THE WORST U-HUAL EXPERIENCE I EVER HAD. I WAITED OVER AN 1 HOUR TO DROP OFF KEYS. KEYS PEOPLE! AND BY THE TIME I GOT UP THE REGISTER I WAS INFORMED THAT I DIDNT HAVE TO WAIT! IT WAS ABSOLUTELY INSANE THAT ONLY ONE PERSON WAS WORKING THE WHOLE TIME AND WHEN HELP FINALLY ARRIVED THEY STARTED TO ARGUE! IF I COULD GIVE - 15 STARS, I WOULD. Don't advertise on your website that you have furniture dollies and utility dollies and when you arrive at the site they tell you first come, first serve!! However, when you return the truck you're still charged for a furniture dolly you never received! Then, when you call the location to have your receipt corrected the rep tells me that I'll have to contact the 800 number because they're getting ready to close?? REALLY?? I called at 6:30pm thirty minutes before closing and was left on hold for 15 minutes. I called a second time and was on hold for 5 minutes. I called a third time and was placed on hold again then the rep came back on line to say we've been busy and I'll have to call the 800 number to have the furniture dolly charge removed from my receipt!!! I didn't rent the truck from the 800 number! I rented the truck at a local location!!! I just rented a truck the previous Thursday and had NO PROBLEMS!!! Please help me take care of this situation, PLEASE!!!

I rented an auto transport trailer and one of the straps was broken unbeknownst to me. When I loaded the vehicle I was transporting the strap would not fit over the tire. It was only a 15 inch tire. The right side strap was ok . The left strap was missing over eight inches from it compared to the right strap. Made for a dangerous situation.

There was a long line and the air didn't work very well at the center. Also, people were very upset that their reservations were not being honored. Mine was fine, but there appears to be issues with the system. Also, the manager should have staffed better. Moving day at FSU is a known entity and the staff was even complaining about it.

We reserved a month in advance. We were hooked up to five different trailers. Four were a problem. We were there almost three hours. All the rentals on site were in disrepair. The employees were complaining about the state of things. We were told that they could not help us and would issue a refund. Luckily a customer returned a trailer and we left with a trailer. Our entire moving plan was in jeopardy. We missed the 5 o'clock deadline to vacate current premises. Two male employees did their best but the place was a junkyard.

I highly recommend this u-haul storage facility. My only caveat is that often when you call you get transferred to a call center when you need to speak to the local employees.

The card access to the storage was always an issue there are people living in there storages it’s very unsafe can easily get rape or hurt cameras are not working and NO ONE REALLY CARES I reported the people living in the storage and I was told that the people living in them has to do what they have to do and that if they were in that situation they would do the same also the items left from people lasted to many days nails in the parking area I had to fix my tires at my expense to much to list.For the price that they charge for these storage at this location is not worth it oh the bathroom is always dirty people bathed in them

My only issue is that it took three phone calls for them to close out my account. After three calls and 14 days of being out of the unit they finally closed out the account. Also a letter with my daughter's name on the envelope but my name on the letter was sent out. This is very unprofessional and was the only way I knew it was still saying I owed after the first two calls and the promise to close the account.

Your staff is high all the time and were just talking with each other and ignoring us. The access cards worked only half the time. There are homeless ppl living in some units and the staff was washing there personal vehicles when i needed access. And the manager doesn't answer his number

Staff was great. Climate controlled storage and good lighting. Facility secure but perhaps overly so as often access was not easy (using large sliding doors) even with the access card during the day. This may be due to the surrounding area and limited staff. Also facility needs more staff to help keep ahead of maintenance/ clean up. Not horrible but could tell they were short staffed. Think this delays making units available again once the are vacated. Finally only one flat cart for moving items. There were twoatterss carts but only one all purpose flat cart.

I had a unit at this facility since 2019 and nvr once had a problem! The staff were great nd the unit itself was worth the money. I had a fridge in there for 4 years and it nvr molded up!

The new manager was quite rude and sarcastic and the reason I moved my things. I was late paying my rent, and when I went to get a few things out of storage almost 2 weeks later there was an extra lock on my unit. When I asked the person up front why, he said he didn't know because my status was paid in the system. The manager then asked what unit so he could see why, he then says I never got around to it, to take it off. I said but what if I came in after hours? His response was, well you were late paying so I'm late removing the lock. Quite unprofessional and I will never patronize this U-Haul storage facility ever again.

Way way over price for the size of the unit extra space storage is cheaper and same quality but it was convenient only because I had drop my U-Haul trailer off at the same place I got the storage .

I had a problem with get in the storage the same day I rented it. My key didn't work talked to the manager and was told that I wouldn't get charged a late fee for the rental of the truck or anything else. But I was charged because it was in my husband name but his name is on the storage along with mines and my name and number was on the rental of the truck. Haven't talked to anybody yet but I'm sure the manager is going to take care of it.

Roaches. Went to move out and roaches were everywhere and in everything. The dismissed our complaint. Said it's not their problem and they can't be responsible or liable for everyone who rents there. Be very careful. The roaches we smashed were still there a week later when we went back to complain again.

Staff (light skinned African American guy with plaits) was very rude, he's one of reasons I didn't use your facility. The other reason was the roaches. I was willing to move to a different unit within the same facility, however his attitude was horrible and didn't exude any concern for my issues. He need to enroll into a course on how to treat customers.

Your units require bug maintenance, roaches were everywhere. One guy in particular was VERY RUDE. I'm not sure of his name, but he's African American with plaits. He said he got to work at 12pm on 10/18/22.
