Front desk worker, was sarcastic and rude. Additional charges are not explained on website. Additional charges for locks, and front desk worker was very rude in stating locks must be purchased separate

When we mentioned about the check engine light and low tire warning, we were told don't worry about it. The advisor missed the lock which required us to make a second visit just so they could remove the lock. Mike had very poor customer service. I will find a different location or go to a competitor next time.

Octavius F.We had a locked combination lock on the truck that we had not put there and did not find until we returned home. As a result, we could not open the back of the truck to use it. We called the 800 number since the office was now closed, and they reached out to the GM. He called my husband pretty quickly and gave him the combination to remove the lock.

Elva T.(1) Months and months of billing errors, threatening letters, fees, etc., and in EVERY SINGLE CASE my rent was paid on time. INCOMPETENT!! (2) While vacating my unit, I discovered that the unit had flooded at some point and all of my belongings that were on the floor had water marks/stains 7 inches up. WHY WAS I NOT INFORMED THAT MY UNIT FLOODED???? Yes, YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE. YOU were aware that my unit flooded and you failed to notify me so that I could check my belongings and move out to prevent further damage. But you knowingly and purposefully failed and refused to notify me, therefor increasing my damage. WHO DO I CONTACT TO MAKE A CLAIM FOR MY DAMAGED PROPERTY???? (3) I WILL be contacting the BBB and writing the VERY POOR online reviews that you deserve.

They send a message to the manager and I never get a call back. The GM was supposed to credit 1/2 of my rent back and never did. I'm not pleased with the way this has been handled and will never use uhaul again.

Then when I return the truck, I checked the box saying it was not clean. Then I got charged a cleaning fee?!? That's unacceptable. Worse experience with uhaul.

All because the representative who was working on Sunday (1/2) never asked my name when he told me that the van was reserved for someone. I told him how I had problems with the website while reserving the van and that I wasn't sure if it went through. He just said that the van was reserved (wasn't even looking at me, was more concerned with what was on the computer screen), but he never asked my name or offered to check the reservation. I left and called customer service and they told Mr that there was a reservation for me st this location. I felt this individual was completely unprofessional in the way my reservation was handled.

My unit was supposed to come with a lock and after arguing with me about it he told me to go grab a different one off the wall and then proceeded to go back to his phone conversation. He told us there were no courtesy carts to use which we ended up finding on our own halfway through moving all our stuff by hand from the Lyft out front.. I think he is lucky he still has a job

John T.Truck was muddy inside, the wheels and inside the cargo space. It was apparent that the truck had not been inspected and definitely was not clean. Another point of evidence was that their was a bag of clothes that the previous renters had left in the cab. I'm very comfortable using my iPhone's location services, including allowing specific websites and apps to track me. This feature didn't work upon pickup, nor upon return (when the office was closed). There were no parking spots available when I returned the vehicle. My main complaint is with the asshole working in the office on Friday, 10/8 when I picked up the truck. I'll spare you our conversation, but I'll tell you about the elderly couple behind me. As I was leaving, I heard this asshole say to the old man…â€you…yeah, I'm talking to you†in the most disrespectful, condescending manner. I'm in business, and I'm well aware of how hard it is to find and retain good employees, but this guy needs to go. He's absolutely terrible. Call me if you'd like. I'll never use uhaul again.
James T.you have a wonderful manager there and great folks working there. They was a great help. And when I got a text message on Sept 21 then Sept 28,2021 saying I still owe when I didn't owe anything the manager was able to get right on it and check for me and saw someone had try to put more on my account so she was able to put it back to what it was and I had my receipt showing I had paid everything up front when I pick up the truck. The problem I'm having is your uhaul text message from # 84285 again on Oct. 6,2021 still saying I owe money and trying to take my money off my card. You need to fix that cause even online shows my account is paid in full. yes my card was declined so thankfully they did not take anything out of my bank cause right now I have nothing in my bank after my move. Please get with your text message don't know why the text message still trying to show the wrong bill on here and I owe when my online account and I also have a receipt showing everything is paid !!!

FRANCISCO R.We reserved a Van and we were told we could not have it due to an outage, but when I complained because they gave our Van away @ that location we have our storage, he asked me if we would take a small truck instead @ At the same location, HE JUST TOLD ME THERE WAS AN OUTAGE, SO HOW CAN THEY GIVE ME A TRUCK AT THAT LOCATION, BECAUSE THEY WERE OVERBOOKED AND BUMPED US, I had no choice but to say yes to getting the truck, I was told the same price as the Van would cost, but they still charged me the truck price and then had to do all kinds of adjustments, so stressed when you are moving and we were in a crunch moving, BUT IT WAS TERRIBLE!!!!!! Then we booked a Van and some canceled it, I rebooked it Sunday, and thank the Lord we got a VAn, it was damaged and we took pics of it! i use to work in Car Rental i KNOW HOW ALL THIS WORKS!

I was not informed and only when I went back into the office to let manager know that fuel was @ 7/8 not as I was told @ Full,I was then sent a text with the link to complete all the questions. I could have driven off not knowing and been charged a ridiculous amt for not returning it with a full tank.

Matthew P.I was pleased using this storage facility for the past 6 years, till this week when I was moving my things out and was not able to open the entrance door get to my unit. The office would not answer my call and I had to drive to the office asking for help. I got quite a run around when they argued with me. I experienced the same problem each day this past week. I told those in the office that this franchise will loose money cause this location is NOT user friendly. I was very frustrated that it was difficult communicating a simple thing of having the entrance door to be open during normal business hours.

I then went back online to reserve and I checked in, the employee said only possible at the facility. When I finalized my storage online, we got a message that our lock would be in the storage room, it was not, we had to go and ask for it, this was inconvenient!! No disputes just employees should know what they are talking about to customers, the agent at Uhaul should have been able to tell me about online check-in same day reserved, the employee said that it was not possible, only here at the facility, wow!

Explain how you can have that photo removed or, better yet, don't require them in the first place.

This location does not clarify that it accepts trucks, as the sign only says 24/7 storage. upon returning the truck, I received a $31 fuel charge although the truck had been returned at the same fuel level it was on when I received it (as documented). Again, the staff was able to resolve the issue- without apology. However, yet again, I am out of money for 3-5 business days at a mistake on the end of the company. My experience using Uhaul's vehicle was great, but having to deal with 2 reversed charges on the same rental is extremely inconvenient.

My pickup was perfect but when I was dropping off, non-customers had taken over the parking lot and I had to physically stop on the service road and wait probably 5 minutes for someone to leave. Eventually, I parked in a handicap stop to return the vehicle.

The driveways between the buildings were dirty too. I dropped off a few items and a few days later I came back with more. During that time someone had come in and placed a rat poison station in my unit. I moved out as soon as I could.

I saw him calm the customer before me who was panicking about life events and who had misplaced her keys. He was also very sympathetic and gave sage advice to me about life after my job delayed my start date, necessitating me to put my belongings in storage. I mostly interacted with Chris, but Olivia assisted me the next day and she was also super helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable.

What unit are you in?" Which always lead to the, "I'll tell my manger and have them call you." No one ever called. Then I move out of my storage and clean it yesterday. Leave and receive an email from my bank 2 hrs later that they charged me another months rent. I'm just confused. We never talked about him charging me another month. My bill had been due on the 8th every month for 3 months. I moved out on the 8th.
