I was running late for my reserved uhaul truck and when I got there the truck was rented to someone else. They did not have the courtesy to call me before renting the truck to someone else. I was very disappointed because it was the only day I had to moveJOAN R.

The storage and truck cost more than I had reserved. I had reserved a ground level storage unit that the person in store said didn't exist, but he one I ended up with cost more and has insurance on it that I don't think is necessary. I checked in on a Sunday morning with no waiting. Le personnel était amical et serviable. Access to the climate-controlled storage building was easy and secure. We rented a UHaul truck so it was great that the storage building had a loading dock for the size of the truck that we rented. The carts were very helpful. Dont ask the Question if you can't handle the truth: #1 CALLS to this store DO NOT GOTO the LOCAL U-HAUL. they "Roll-Over" to the call center( I can hear the Local store HU the call so that it Goes to the call center and the call center is 45 minute wait always #2 YOU MADE ME PAY IN FULL when you didn't have the parts at all and "I WAS STUCK WITH UHAUL HITCH INSTALL" (Could of got it sooner elsewhere #3 YOU CANCELLED MY INSTALL 2 hours before my scheduled time AND I HAD BEEN WAITING 3 WEEKS FOR MY INSTALL DATE !!!! #4 THEN I didnt hear from UHAUL AT ALL SO AND I PAID FOR THE HITCH IN FULL 3 WEEKS AGO THEN DIDNT HEAR FROM UHAUL FOR ANOTHER 4 DAYS....SO I THEN tryed to call the UHAUL store and OF COURSE I get the call center AGAIN !!! AFTER HOLDING 45 MINUTES WHEN I SHOULD OF BEEN AT WORK. So I had to ask the rep can you locate my TRAILER HITCH I ORDERED 4 WEEKS AGO?? AFTER ANOTHER 30 MINUTS ON PHONE THE REP LOCATES ONE AND SAID WE WILL SEND TO THE STORE ITS GONA BE ANOTHER WEEK...5 WEEKS NOW. #5 A WEEK LATER I GET a text SAID my install date was of a THURSDAY WTF !! I didnt set a THURSDAY. SO AGAIN I called the UHAUL STORE AND GET THE CALL CENTER AGAIN I WAS ON HOLD FOR 45 MINUTES and we set a date ON SATURDAY JUST LIKE THE ORIGINAL DATE 6 WEEKS BEFORE. AND THE REP SAID Dont worry Mr DeVane its gona install in 30 minutes I Promise. #6 SO I SHOW UP AT THE UHAUL ON SATURDAY and the guy said well its gona be 1hr and 30 minutes!! (NOT 30 MINUTES) NO ONE should go thru that !! WAY to much stress and NO ONE AT THE STORE KNEW ANYTHING ABOUT THIS.(AND THE PHONES DIDNT RING AT ALL SO THE CALL CENTER LIES ABOUT ROLLOVER CALLS) So in short I was out 250,00 $ for 6 weeks while UHAUL was screwing off And I located the HITCH my self because NO ONE FROM UHAUL CALLED ME! Overall love the walk through process of checking out and in with attaching photos. Love that it is quick and efficient. The only problem is there is no info about your lock box. When you look at it you can't see that the locks are unlocked. I have used lock boxes at other locations where you drop the keys into a box. Yours is very confusing. It would be nice if you could include directions with it. Also they had to call me the next morning to find out where the keys are.HEATHER S.

This was my first UHaul rental experience in the past 8 years. I had difficultly navigating the UHaul site to rent my truck. I called the Citrus Park location on two occasions to correct my mistakes on the site, talked to two different females and got all of my mistakes taken care of. The mobile app check in is ridiculous. Not sure what is the purpose of mobile check in since you still have to go inside to get the key to unlock the truck. Also on returning the truck the mobile app states to scan a barcode???? What barcode between two black doors??? Again STUPID and a waste of time. However, the staff was very friendly and helpful. No complaints. I think they know the mobile app process is a joke. If it were not for them I would have rated poor/below average.Sharon G.

I am extremely disappointed that I was charged and additional 33,33 $ even though I returned my rental truck 1hr and 45mins. early. Unfortunately location just closed 15 minutes earlier so I put my keys in slot box as the older gentlemen that works told me to do and he took the keys, Unfortunately I couldn't get online to sign out. My mileage and gas was accurate and the agent told me I would be charged 20 $if they were closed when returned and they checked it out in the morning (7am). It cost 19,95 $ to rent for a day, I only used truck from 1:03 pm - 5:15 pm 8/8/21. I have been a customer with a storage unit with my mother Pearl Campbell for almost a year and I am extremely disappointed and dissatisfied with this service transaction. The agent doing rental transaction should be very specific with return instructions and charges when telling customer, not just saying it would be a 20 $charge if location was closed upon rental return. I was told the truck had a quarter tank to be returned with, but I realized it was marked on my contract as 5/16 when I returned. I had put 2,5 half gallons in the truck already, drove a total of 14 miles and was charged for another 2 gallons of gas. This means the truck got less than 4 miles to the gallon, which is total nonsense. I generally don't have a problem with Uhaul, but this was disappointing to say the least.ELIAS G.

I've had a unit there for 16 years. No major complaints. Always felt my property was safe and secure. Few minor concerns: Limited access hours especially on weekends unless you wanted to pay more. I got there and did the app to get my moving truck 1 hour delay my truck was blocked in. I had to stand in line twice to get someone to move the vehicles blocking my truck. Finally just got another truck. Complete cluster fuck and I was paying 150 $for movers which pushed us back. Will never deal with this location short staffed and mismanaged.Roger L.

Upon returning ALL the equipment, truck and auto transport to the location on my contract I am having SO MANY ISSUES. Even after having to go back to the location in which I returned the equipment in early I talked to the manager John and still am getting messages about equipment not being returned. I am honestly never using Uhaul again and I have used Uhaul for years for all my movesâ€" this single experience has literally ruined the brand for me â€" I have never had to go through so many different avenues for mistakes made out of my control. It's a never-ending battle that is being handled poorly. Neither was Christopher any help for me calling the 1-800 number because he couldn't get in contact with anyone at the stores or a GM and he kept saying I returned to the wrong location when I kept telling him â€œno I did notâ€ because that's not what my contract said and even after emailing him a copy of my contract he still was not helpful because I had to drive back to location where I returned equipment. At the location, talking to the man in charge still didn't resolve the issue because I am still getting these calls, texts or emails about equipment not being returned when in fact it wasâ€"IT IS DRAININGâ€" and makes my move that much more stressful.Priscilla B.

I had a trailer hitch installed a few months ago and the general manager, Patrick Walker made the transaction work on time and within budget, to our mutual satisfaction in spite of a couple of minor glitches. He also became involved in our storage rental unit agreement due to a conflict between our agreement with an on line agent and the policy of the company. He resolved the issue with no delay and fairly, according to our agreement, and to our satisfaction. The facility is clean and well maintained with easy access. I setup a reservation for a unit and everything seemed okay until I got there. I was told I would have 24 hour access but the hours on the door said differently. The Confirmation email didn't give clear directions on how to get into unit. My code didn't work to get into the door. I went in behind someone else and when I got to my unit (after I had to search and find it) I opened it and alarms started going off. I had already loaded a cart full of stuff and tried to call the front office for assistance but was transferred to customer service and placed on hold. There was no way to speak with anyone in the front and after being on hold for over 10 mins I loaded my things back into my car, went to the office and canceled my reservation. I received a full refund and will not be using uhaul storage or recommend it to anyone.Marc C. | Online Move In

After driving a UHaul truck 3 hrs to Tampa I was exhausted. I had reservations at Extra Space after they "sold me" on the first mon the free. Unfortunately once I got there I discovered the Free didn't include hidden fees for Admin fee and required renters insurance and only their locks can be used. My "FREE" was close to 100 $. As tired as I was I couldn't let that happen! I called UHaul they also told me 1st month was free but this time it was REALLY FREE! :-). During this time of Covid, not working, not being able to afford my home any more and moving in with a friend I needed every break possibly. I was thrilled! I jumped back in the truck and went to 6111 Gunn Highway Tampa, FL Where there service was exceptional. I'm so happy I didn't just say OK and give those other guys my money!
