Convenient right beside I-85 & near Clairmont. Employee very knowledgeable and efficient. Worked out great to rent van here.

MARIA VFor Rental of equipment: The pickup, drop off, and one who assisted were excellent. For Storage: The gates are inoperable, the sliding locked door was open due to the gates, the elevator to the units has not closed well for over a year. Disrepair is apparent.

I also had a storage room that I used for about 16 years and never had an issue with my property. Only downside was they constantly raised their rates which ultimately encourage me to finally recover my property and close the account. Nothing but positives with the location except the rates.

GENNIE JAlthough I didn't try to access my unit frequently, when I did try to get in, one or both gates were broken about half the time (standing partly open). I was also concerned about the number of times I saw police present at the facility. That doesn't scream "safe" to me.
KC B | Expérience généraleRep was helping another employee receive their Uhaul certification while I waited at the counter. Didn't stop to help me. Took her sweet time. When they finally helped me, they were moving so slow to scan my items (blankets, ratchet straps, etc). I almost put everything back, but I needed it. Told me the keys were in the truck, they were not. When I went back into the building for the keys, she argued with me and then turned around, found the keys on the wall and said "I really need to go home". Absolutely no sense of urgency to help a customer. The slowest customer service. These people don't want to be here and it's obvious. Also, no one mentioned that the moving blankets HAD to be returned. I thought I PURCHASED them, but that wasn't the case. Your staff needs better training and not doing their "Uhaul certification" at the front counter while customers are trying to rent trucks to get their stuff done. I didn't have all day. The process was way too long considering they make you reserve online, etc. It should be a quick process.

TITUS LANSWER THE PHONE, it was a hassle to get anybody on the phone. I kept being transferred from one person to the next. Now when you get to the location it's ok cause they have to speak to you. But if you're trying to get someone on the line it's a pain in the but. The two young women who worked there was nice but they gotta do better with picking up the phone.

JEFFREY SEnsure proper documentation. I was given a different uhaul than the initial one assigned to me. But then when I went to turn in my equipment the store said they couldn't find it since they hadn't updated my account to show that they had given me a different trailer than the one they assigned to me.
DAVID CGood as any. Staff didn't seem too energetic or efficient. When I turned in the truck, the staff person told me that she would go over the truck, and I would receive and email receipt with "an hour or so." As if 7 hours later, I had not received a receipt.
SCOTT BClerk was very unpleasant with no warm disposition and didn't take the time to check the vehicle before we left. We felt as tho we were a bother instead of a paying customer. I've experienced othe U-Hauls in Atlanta and this one definitely fell short.

Charles LThe person staffing the site was outstanding, the issue is she was the only one working on a Saturday. She worked the front desk, checked in equipment and checked out equipment. Very efficient for U-Haul but a HORRIBLE customer experience. I walked in, on time, for my pick up and had a line of 10 people in front of me. When I rent a U-Haul for. A day my working time is limited and to spend 10-15 % of it standing in line because you, in my opinion, are not staffed properly.

Sherry DThe young woman that helped me was fantastic! The app on the other hand was the worst. It quoted me numbers that were incorrect and told me the date I was to turn in my truck was completely wrong. So make sure what you're quoted on the app is the actual price! I feel like you stole from me.
Tina OI originally reserved a U-Haul on redan Road for 8 o'clock on 7/27 and nobody left a key so I couldn't even do the mobile so I was very unhappy because then I had to find a U-Haul somewhere else and go all the way to Claremont Road, this was very unacceptable but I needed to get a U-Haul as soon as possible. This was why I reserved one.
REGINALD MGuessing this policy is made with a purpose but I don't know why the tank starts with 1/4 tank, makes it confusing because you need to fill up right away and then maybe again later when you return. Why not just start at 1/2? I'm guessing it's to Uhauls financial gain but as a customer it's annoying.
MICHAEL MMy experience at this location was good. However this reservation was only made because my original reservation was not and no one at that location communicated with me, which was overall a bad experience that made me not trust uhaul.

Ronald JI've been a UHaul customer for over 20 years, renting trucks and storage rooms in multiple states. This has by far been the best customer service I've ever received from UHaul associates. Sadia and Aqueelah at this Clairmont Rd location absolutely exceeded my expectations. They genuinely care that their customers have a great experience, and will work diligently to help solve any problems that may occur.

The employee that checked us in was nice but lazy. The one who checked us out was terrific! She's been there awhile and she's great at her job!
Brian Li gave a 24 hour notice to close the uhaul storage and they keep charging me i called and let them know not to charge and showed proof and they are still charging me
ALEXANDER S | Expérience généraleMy concern is about the information given to the customer. Why inform a customer that you can drop off at any location when if you choose that then U-Haul corporate can assign you one. I was assigned a drop off location 12 miles further than the closest one to me.

David SI had difficulty several times getting the vehicle to start. Especially when I had been driving for an extended amount of time. If the engine was cold, it started fine.

Daniel A | Expérience généraleThis facility was great I ended up there because Piedmont facility gave my reservation away 5/23 the manager said it was on a first come first serve basis, though I reserved weeks in advance and called twice to confirm I did that because I was coming from out of town… Piedmont was conveniently located across the street from my apartment and didn't care that I had to pay extra to the movers to take me way further than planned, when I was told it was given away I then had to ask them to help me find another UhAul because i was not familiar with the area. This UhAul though very nice I ended up paying more because the size i reserved was not available. So beware because your reservation could be given away.

They made me feel like an inconvenience for simply asking questions about their storage units and hitches. They couldn't answer questions about the products hanging on their shelves, which is fine because they don't know what they don't know, but they didn't make an effort to help me figure out what I needed. They also spoke poorly about another customer that they had just assisted after the person walked out of the store while I was standing right in front of them, which was unprofessional. Could tell they did not want to be there but I also didn't make them take that job so I wish staff were kinder and more helpful.

I called the location the next day and they showed me absolutely no compassion for my situation. She rudely told me there was nothing she could do for me. I will never be using Uhaul again.

After filling the truck with my things, I find out they did not book the storage unit, which left me without one. Then when they did find a replacement unit, it was in Atlanta not Decatur,so now I have to travel to clairmont rd from Wesley chapel. Also that location booked me for a unit which was already rented . I can't wait to hear what cooperate has to say and what will be done to compensate for all the times they dropped the ball concerning me and my use of their services,or lack there of...

The facility itself - has a ton of work - I was EXTREMELY surprised after 1 full year of renting from this facility (1 year and 7 months) the elevator in Building A is still an ongoing issue. It is such a HUGE fire hazard and safety concern. The first move in date 6/2021. This type of maintenance issue is not acceptable to lingered for so long. My unit was never lit - the halls were always clean. Merci.

Penny and her staff understood the toll moving takes on people and they make it easy. This store should be a model for how customer service should work and Uhaul store locations should be ran. If want to upgrade Uhaul start by promoting Penny and Lady that was there with her. This will take. Uhaul to another level and restore the service to the image you once had. Thanks Penny and staff for turning a HORRIBLE move into a great situation!

I have previously forwarded the complaint to the Management and have yet to receive an updated response. I even spoke to the Manager about the complaint when I moved out, and though she was very busy, I felt like there was an air of irritation based on my previously complaining about the door not working after moving all of my things out and having to move them into a working unit, and not receiving any assistance from the representatives that were there. I also was advised by the Uhaul call center that I qualified for a free month, which was confirmed by the location rep, then declined later. This is not the first time that I used Uhaul (trucking and storage) in the past few months, as there were a limited number of units available and we had to use several separate locations... and I was awarded the free month at the other locations. This was the first and only location where I was advised that we did not qualify for the free month (and that it was a one-time option) though we had received it previously and it was confirmed by the call center. The Clairmont location was the worst customer service that I had received, and I missed my flight and had to rebook it based on what appeared to be the inexperience of the persons that were responsible for managing the location on those 2 days that I interacted with them before I moved out.

I was able to get in, but unfortunately my items including my gate card were left inside the storage building as I was moving items into my unit. I was locked out and had to contact security through Uhaul's 1800# to let me out. I had my children with my and had to make arrangements for them while we were trapped inside the storage facility. Today I went to get assistance with retrieving my gate card from the locked storage building,but was told that there's nothing that can be nothing at this time until the Store Manager comes in at 11am. I have items that I have to unload to make my final trip and turn in my apartment keys at 12:30pm today or I'll be charged additional rental days. This is an unfair situation that I need rectified.
