A very very nasty Rat infested place I payed for insurance on my thing and my things got damaged and I was never compensated for my things. The experience with this company made it very difficult in my process of my move very very disappointed I would never ever advise anyone to ever want to ask George you're not or a U-Haul or anything from them

CHRISTIE WPros: My experience here with management and their team was a good experience. Everyone made sure we were assisted and helped in a timely manner. Cons; The facilty needs upgrading. It seems the focus was rather on quantity over quality. Plenty of units but the unit designs are very narrow and tight. The layout of the units are not best design for storage. The unit doors collide with the sliding door. Issue with rats needs to be addressed. Paying a monthly fee to deal with this issue is not unacceptable. There is light in the hallway but no the unit itself.

(4 years) and some " critters " had entered in but I saw evidence that they used everything to keep them away and thankful that most things were packed in sealed crates. Great experience keeping my storage in this facility.

scottonya s | Premières impressionsThe lady that checked me out was very unwelcoming and incompetent. Firstly, I ordered a dolly, the dolly was not in the truck. They allow for pickups at 8:00 but customer service closes at 7:00, so you can't talk to anyone or get any help. They still charged me for the dolly even after I reported it at pickup and told them at drop off. Then on my receipt at drop off the dolly charge that shows to be eligible for refund is $4 less than what I originally paid for. Speaking of charges or over charges..I was charged $40+ for fuel and service fee..even though the truck was returned on 1/4 of a tank. I had just went to the gas station right before I returned and drove the truck straight from the gas station. The male worker who checked the truck in even said "it was right there at the 1/4" but basically not over the 1/4 which doesn't make sense and my receipt reflects an even lower fuel than what it was. I was told that a manager would be made aware of my situation but haven't heard from anyone.
Jihada II have a suggestion. I rented a 6 x 10 trailer with a ramp. My plan was to put my Kawasaki side-by-side on the trailer so I could take it to my house but the ramp opening is only 4 foot wide and I could not load my Kawasaki side-by-side on the trailer. I called the people I rented it from and they said it would cost me $200 to leave it in the town I was in, so I just brought it back to Little Rock and basically wasted my money. I would advise using some red tape or something easily visible to inform people that the opening is only 4 foot wide. I was very disappointed. The place I rented it from was great however, they did not have a sleeve for my hitch. I had to go buy it at another U-Haul.

Raven F | Expérience généraleThe employees and owner at this location are great! I never have issues with the rental process. This past rental was with a newer van, and there were several warning for traction control and such that started quickly in my trip. I couldn't use cruise control for 1200 miles so that was a bit of a burden. Just wish they would have offered some sort of compensation or help in the bill as I rent monthly from this location. (I know that the person I dropped it off with may not have been authorized to do such a thing….they were very helpful when turning in my van).

Jordan M | Expérience généraleI have always had a great experience renting from the location at 6300 Colonel Glenn Road. With the amount of rentals I have been doing, I have noticed that the GMC Van gets better gas mileage than the Ford Vans. But both are always well maintained!

Everyone was nice at the Colonel Glenn location but not trailer light connection cables available. Luckily I had my own at home but had to drive without lights for a bit. Had some trouble dropping off at 7:30 am Sunday morning with the homeless folks.

Me that I'd move into another storage but I'd not have to move to another storage. They need more security there because the location.

Tonya S | Expérience généraleWhen I checked the truck out I was told the gas hand was right below half and when I got in the truck that's exactly when the gas hand was. When I returned the truck I realized that on my receipt is said the gas was above half. I put gas in the truck to put it back where it was when I saw it. Not what was on the receipt. My point is, the receipt was wrong about the gas hand and of course I didn't take a picture for proof so I got charged an extra $33. This needs to be improved on so no one else has to go through that.

Then I would park my car n she would come out and ask me to move it knowing there is no designated parking yet. Happy they got her gone but HAnnah love her very professional and sweet.

I am beginning to regret for using this facility. it is always an attack on the African American community. I have never seen anything like this before. I have seen at least 3 to 4 price increases recently. It starts to make me wonder if I am being targeted. It is quite offensive and unprofessional.

Deborah AI have had my storage with UHaul for over 30 years, you all were great until I had items stolen from me. You all were rude from your office on 65th street to Lilly, you know her last name. Told "my claim would be denied and to do whatever I needed to do" comments from Lilly herself. I tried calling the head office of course got the runaround. I am now at a new location will be promoting them on my social media page strongly. I am more disappointed than upset, once I cleared out my storage it was very disturbing there were 4 to five nice size rat holes, the wall was separating from the brick structure the box put in form rodents is the same one from when I got the unit 170, the light whomever illegally entered my storage from the adjoining one snatched the string out where I had no access to the light. I requested an FOI on that property there were so many calls to LRSD that it had to be put on a disc and you all had the nerve to not only deny my claim but be rude. WOW

They are very nice and helpful, but many times there is just one person working when there are several people waiting for assistance. I had to wait a little longer than I would like for my rental, but once I was helped, the employee was very helpful. She was just busy.

Valleria GThe gate was damaged and not operable when I was there last, so my answer to the first question reflected it. However, it was the first time I had seen the property like that. The manager saw me and told me someone wrecked it again but would be fixed. I trust that will happen because she is honest and diligent in doing all she can to make the storage facility the very best.

My account was on auto pay but the credit card expired the same month that one of my children was murdered. I was in shock and grieving the loss of my son and was a month or two late noticing the account was past due. I requested a refund of the late fee(s) but they denied my request. Otherwise, no complaints.

The facility is always dirty, no one answers the phone even after returning a phone call and management act like there was never any experience or training when excepting the job. . Corporate needs to pay the facility a surprise visit.

Mine was one of the units affected. Estimated loss of theft and damaged goods, $1000. Therefore, I am content with finally moving my remaining possessions into another storage facility.

I like the fact that they put traps in the storages to keep pests out. And they're locked and secured to keep the burglars out. If I need to rent a truck or storage they are first on my list

Connie J | Expérience généraleWas denied access to my indoor unit one day. Attendant and her managers were unable to find out how to open the automatic door. I wasted an hour before I gave up. The door to the unit itself was on a damaged hinge. It took finesse to open and close, but eventually the hinge simply fell apart, leaving the door unable to be closed at all. Even when working somewhat properly, the door opened the wrong direction. If open it blocked half of the automatic door, leaving me only half a doorway's width to get everything in and out.

I had my storage there for a month prior to the notification of my unit "missing a lock" so my unit could've been broken into a few days after I moved my items in, nobody knows. I was very disappointed because I'm a college student and I had most of my dorm items there and now they're gone.

I had a moving company that brought my personal items to the storage. The moving company had words with the Store Manager. She was very rude to the point the moving company called their boss. 2. The General manager than told me that i hired a ghetto moving company???? 3. I only had a storage while my home was being painted for a few weeks. With in those weeks it rained, and I open my storage just too see water damage. I had homeowners insurance so i decline the storage insurance. 4. Told the manager what happen there was no apology no anything. They didn't offer me another storage. I told them I was not going to move the damage property and was there anything they could do to help. RUDE AS RUDE. she didn't offer any customer service told me if i didn't move my items i would be charge for a storage that was leaking !!! then told me if they remove my damage property which was 2 mattresses, she would charge me the junk fee. I called customer service, and they told me that there was NOTHING they could do!!!!! NOT ONE person offered to help me move my items to a new storage room. BEYOND CRAZY to think I will pay for the same storage room that cause me damage to my personal belongings. 5. i plan to go to the better business bureau. I am unsure how this store passed inspection. .There are signs stating they did!! when they have leaks in their buildings. 6. I also plan to contact the attorney general office for horrible customer service and expectations of wanting someone to pay for damage storage unit. 7. I plan to put this review on FB and every social media platform!!!! If I have the energy and time, I will do this weekly! I pray no one spends their hard earn money on a company who could care less about your belongings; about your experience and about the stress levels of dealing with insurance companies. they simply don't care about YOU, the people who keep them in business!
