The truck air conditioner did not work and it was the hottest day of the year. I informed the employees of the situation and nobody really seemed to care. This place use to be really good but it seems less about customers and more about dollars these days.

This review is for A plus towing in Jefferson ohio,they did an excellent job of keeping informed about my container delivery status. Promptly called when it arrived, and had it staged and ready for me when I arrived, so all I had to do was back my truck up to the container and unload. Now moving on to the distributor in Florida who sent the container to be loaded. I already filled out a review for them and the container they sent me that was falling apart and ready to be sent to the burn pile. Which left me no other choice but to spend two and a half hours repairing and screwing the container back together, so I could use it. And then there was the manager of that facility, "John" who as I was told , refused to speak with me! I'm sure that's because he already knew why I was calling. There's no doubt in my mind he knew what a piece of junk he sent me!!! So I did call and speak to customer action dispute,, filed a complaint and was given a complaint reference I.D. number. 3691891. And was told someone would be calling me within 48 hours to rectify the problem and offer some compensation for my time and troubles! That was 4-21-22 and I still have not heard from anybody as of yet 5-23-22! Huh that's a long 48 hours! I will be calling corporate again!!!! NOT GOING TO LET THIS GO!!!! Not very good customer relations!!!

The scheduling department (941-359-2413) for Ft Myers was horrible. First, they didn't deliver the box to our location on the scheduled Saturday (originally 11-2 then 2-5). After multiple calls to the scheduling line and being on hold for hours, getting disconnected, picked up and immediately hung up on or switched back to start the process all over again, I reached out to the main U-Haul number and finally got a customer service person that did more than tell me to call the scheduling line (thank you Melissa?). She got manager Jesus Martel on the line, and he emailed people to get me help. With Jesus's help I was told I had a guaranteed 9 am delivery for the following Monday and would receive a refund of the local delivery charge + some, as well as having a supervisor call to guarantee the box arrived. On Monday when it didn't arrive at 9 a.m., and no call from a supervisor, I made multiple calls again to the stupid scheduling line, and finally got Zola Thornton (local manager?) to call me. She told me the box was scheduled for 9:16 am - 11:16 am delivery - I told her we were guaranteed 9 a.m. as they were supposed to deliver the previous Saturday, and our family that was helping us load was flying out that day. Also, we already had a 1-5 pickup scheduled pickup for that same day. The box finally showed up after 10 and the driver couldn't verify that it was still on the schedule to be picked up that day between 1-5. Was given the delivery supervisor John's phone number (941-256-6470), but he never returned multiple calls for pick up verification. Of course, it didn't get picked up at all that Monday. After calling again to the ridiculous scheduling number, it finally was picked up on Tuesday; but I only found this out by a neighbor letting me know...again, no call backs. Calls to the scheduling manager John were unanswered, as well as Emails to supervisor Emmanuel Saenz (emmanuel_saenz@uhaul.com) never being returned. Yes, they refunded $213 for the local delivery and the actual delivery driver in Ft Myers (don't remember her name) was polite, but what was the sense of scheduling a delivery and pick up date/times, when they don't keep them. Calling the Scheduling number for Fort Myers was a joke...kept getting people that handled different cities, once I was able to get someone...had multiple disconnects and hang-ups, as well as hours on hold, only to be transferred back to the start and begin again. Once the Box finally left Ft Myers, then the service was great. Box arrived in Flagstaff earlier then quoted. Staff at the Flagstaff location were friendly and helpful.

It was very upsetting coming to pick up a truck I had reserved by calling the 1 800 number for 11 am and finding out at the last minute they did not have a truck available for me. I was using this to pick up chairs for my sons wedding. The venue I was doing this at closed at noon. It was extremely stressful until the young man waiting on me went to his manager and was able to give me a truck designated for someone else for today. I had to promise that I would return it by 9 am today. I paid for a 2 day rental but had to return it early to which I was not compensated. Why do we make reservations that are not secure? I would love an answer to this.

UH - FAILED TO NOTIFY ME THAT THE BOX WAS AT A DIFFERENT LOCATION. 2. THE BOX WAS NOT READY AFTER I HAD CALLED TO HAVE IT SET OUT. THE EMPLOYEE AT KERNAL STORE NEED CUSTOMER SERVICE TRAINING. 3. STAFF AT THE STORAGE FACILITY WERE VERY HELPFUL. 4. THERE IS NOTHING WORSE THAT STANDING IN LINE AND WAITING TO BE TOLD THAT THE BOX IS AT A DIFFERENT LOCATION. SOME OF THE EMPLOYEES NEED SERIOUS TRAINING.

I knew the Florida law that allows me to pull an open trailer without hooking up the trailer lights. I was given the run-around, forced to go back in to the store, wait in line and discuss again with the people behind the counter and drive back to get the trailer. Even the gentleman hooking up the trailer said he received answers from three different people, all giving him a different answer. It took an extra 40 minutes of my time because the U-haul employees at this location didn't know Florida laws regarding trailers when they are renting plenty of them on a daily basis.

I have been renting from uhaul over 3yrs straight I have spent a lot of money. Every time I make a reservation weeks ahead of time and still when I go to rent they tell me my truck is not available. I'm so fed up with you guys it's ridiculous. Stop letting people make reservation and still not able to get a truck. Worst experience ever

Every single Uhaul staff I interacted with were the BEST most kind, patient people I have ever encountered. I told each person so. My "Guaranteed" delivery date was missed, and late by two days. My I was given the wrong pick up location, and on the morning of my pick up I was sent to a different location. Ubox was a terrible experience, and will never recommend it. I spend extended periods of time waiting on the phone whenever I needed to talk to a person, which was often, because much of what I needed to do was not able to happen through the Uhaul app. Honestly, I doubt I will use Uhaul again after this whole moving experience. I would love to talk to someone about getting an apology in the form of a partial refund for all of the mistakes made, terrible communication, and the resulting stress.

When I arrived, I was told they did not have my equipment that was guaranteed when I made my reservation. This was told to practically everyone who came in the store. Eventually my situation was all taking care of, others weren't so lucky. This caused major delays in my move and it caused unnecessary stress. The young lady who help me was beyond patient. She did everything in her power to right the wrong and I appreciate that. There was a major problem with over booking equipment and this is a problem that needs to be fixed.

When I made reservations for a 26 inch box truck was told when I got there I wasn't any available. Got the 20 inch and went to pick up my furniture from the furniture store open the back seen that it was infested with roaches call the talk to the manager i she gave me options took the 20 inch back she put me in a 26 inch but I was told there wasn't any left I had to unload all off stuff on to another truck. I was told when I bring the truck back the manager was going to give me some discount cause that was an big inconvenience to me didn't get done moving my things to my new home way after dark and it was pouring down raining me and my family got soak and wet keep trying to get in touch with the uhaul place and I can't to see why I wasn't given discounts pre the manager.the worse experience I ever had now I have to wait to put my new furniture in my home due to someone has to come spray for roaches because they needed up in the boxes and plastic

Poorly run business, was sent a text the day before I was to pick up the trailer at this location. When I got there I was told they do not have any trailers and why am I here, I showed them my text telling me to go there and I want my trailer, the clerk actually said that it always looks like they have 30 trailers or more but really they don't. She finally found a larger 5x8 trailer that I could have. I took the trailer home to start packing, opened the trailer and it was FULL of garbage, old beds, clothing, boxes of crap,, disgusting. Called back to this location to say I was on my way back with this trailer and they had better have one there when I get there. Luckily they did have one , not sure were it was earlier.

1. Very difficult to access the space because of layout and rental vehicles/gate. 2. I was assigned 2 different spaces that were already occupied. The computer information did not match the reality of availability. Both times I unloaded and moved many boxes to both occupied spaces, and had to move/reload. 3. The whole experience was bad so I canceled my reservation and asked to be refunded all money and did not rent the space. You really need to have phones in the units to communicate with the staff up front. It was very difficult to exit the gates and navigate around the congested footprint of the facility every time the units were not available. The whole experience was beyond frustrating .

My parents moved into the storage facility today, Jan 11th after having reserved the facility online. When they arrived, they were greeted by the rudest and most condescending agent ever. She lied that our reservation was not there, so we had to show proof. She insulted my mother and called her names. She then acted like she could not find any other details of our reservation and forced us to produce written proof. She failed to explain anything about how to find our storage facility and was rude again when asked. The moving help ultimately had to guide my parents around the facility and help my parents find the unit. I am extremely disappointed in this customer service and she truly seemed to hate helping customers. Had I not already made these reservations and requested moving help, I would have told my parents to leave immediately. I question that my belongings are safe with staff like her in charge. I wish my mom had caught her name, but she was working on January 11th at 7am. I have never left a bad review but her behavior needs to be addressed.

I showed up, presented my reservation and was told that there was truck. Employee did not offer any alternative, nor did she tell me that she would speak with her manager. I went outside and there were many trucks sitting there. Only after I saw and the trucks and became angry did the so-called owner tell me he had a truck. Then I had to wait 20 minutes for the truck. Will NEVER rent from this location again and will tell everyone not to trust a so-called reservation, because it is meaningless.

Ants have envaded my storage space i brought it to uhaul attention twice and nothing was dome about it. Also i move out of my storage unit and had to move all my things back to ohio from Florida and they took $200 from me and refused to give it back even tho i was moved out. Which also put me in a bad place in traveling. I was stuck in georgia for like 3 hours. They gave me a flawed truck i had to fix the wipers several times on the truck til eventually it couldnt be fixed anymore and i had to pay to replace it. Which also took from my gas money. On top of all of this the gas tank was not on full at time of pick up and the owner/manager of the location was very rude and very non understanding.

Had an oil leak from another unit next to me. No one did the thing after a month of complaints about it. Still oil on the floor after I cleared my unit out. Made me buy one of their specific locks instead of my lock because it's "more secure". Well it's my insurance covering my items so Uhaul isn't responsible for the stuff it it gets stolen so they shouldn't dictate which lock I can and can't use.

We were checked in by Zola. She was very quick and super friendly. Earlier in the morning (1 hour earlier) I spoke to CS about changing unit sizes. CS told me that everything was changed and we were good to go. They verbally confirmed that the old unit was no-longer on my account and the new unit size was reserved since they only had one left at this location. Zola discovered that CS reserved the new unit size but also activated my other unit. Zola was able to quickly fix the CS error and made moving in easy. The location is super packed with equipment but it is obvious they work hard at keeping the area clear for loading, unloading and maneuvering your vehicle and equipment in and out of the location.

I was your customer for many years. When I first rented two units you had a couple: Manager and his wife who were wonderful and great people and very helpful, same as a very nice Cuban Lady. Then you remodeled and changed management, this time the manager, Jeff was OK, but the guy at the counter, a tall white guy had a very bad atitude, and treated me as if he was above, I don't know his name but most of the people that was at the Colonial Blvd facility under Jeff had that kind of attitude, and also look horrible (white trashy). Then you changed again for a new manager, I was told Jeff was moved to a brand new facility, I hope he has better hiring practice. Under this present management, the air conditioning is kept too high, it must be around mid 80s, very hot and I had lots of clothing and home lingerie there and in rainy season can get mildew. Thus I decided to move it to a different company which is even a little cheaper and have great maintenance. During my moving, I had to rent several times trucks, because I had lot of stuff and wanted to organize it neatly at the new place. Upon returning one of the trucks, stressed & tired as I was, I was received by a black guy outside to receive the truck under a tent, it was a very large truck and I was afraid of hitting one of the tents legs, I was only 6-7 feet from it and I told him my concern. He answered so nastily that the young man who was my moving helper said to me: "that guy sounded like he wanted to eat you alive, like an angry dog barking at you". So I did my best and brought the truck under the tent, and then went to get my own car to load a few things that I had in the truck & wanted to take home, yet...I was so distressed that upon making a turn on the street corner I went over the curb and the side of my right hand side of the car was hit and fell out broken irreparairably. I showed the manager later & he said he couldn't do anything about it because it was just outside of your premises, this accident is going to cost me approx. $500 or more, out of my own pocket because I cannot afford my insurance to go higer. ALL OF THIS COULD HAVE BEEN AVOIDED IF THAT BLACK GUY RECEIVING THE TRUCK COULD HAVE HAD THE COURTESY OF DRIVING THE CAR A FEW FEET UNDER THE TENT, OUT OF COURTESY FOR A LADY IN DISTRESS, AND AN OLD CUSTOMER, OR BE POLITE AND NICE TALKING SO HE WOULD NOT GET ME SO DISTRESSED. Also, at the counters there is only person assisting customers and prospect customers and sometimes not even one, we have to wait until that person comes from outside, and waste our precious time, specially when we are paying helpers per hour and also renting the truck per hours. Oh, and again, after returning the last truck a white man around (25-32 years of age) in charge of receiving the trucks, had exactly the same attitude yelling/barking at me as I was there waiting to bring the car towards the tent. and to put the icing on the cake: the shock I got when I rented the last time a truck is that I thought I had paid for a whole day (24 hours) and the guy told me it was only for 6 hours, because he had it reserved after those 6 hrs. for someone else, and I had already lost an hour waiting to be assisted and done the paperwork! So you make 2 days truck rental pay out of one truck in 24 hrs? !!! That is not proper and it should be reported to BBB. Which I might do if I do not get a retribution from you. For all the reasons above, I will not recommend your service to any of my connections. My recommendation is that you scan well the people you hire, have enough employees to cover the services you offer, I see the girls at the counter do not last long because is too much work for one person to handle, and the guys are very nasty and do not present themselves with a professional look for the job they perform. Like I said above: the managers are ok, and except for 2 clean cut young boys, one Latin and one American, the rest are frankly gross! I complained to the manager

The layout of the parking area and storage area are not very friendly for a 26' uhaul. I understand that you cannot change that now but, there are trailers parked in the driving area that could be moved to help with the turning/maneuvering of a 26' uhaul.

The unit had a zip tie on it when I arrived, which is fine except it was not easy to "pop off" as the office told me and I did not come with scissors. The lock that was supposed to be in my unit was also not there so I had to go back to the office again to retrieve it. Otherwise the unit was prepped for move in and the online process was great.

I wanted the largest climate controlled unit they had. I reserved it by phone so they said it would be a 10 x 30. The men started unloading my furniture & said that it was not air conditioned. Went back to the office & got 2 10x15 units. The men had to put my stuff back on the truck & start again. Girls in office need more training. Not happy with their service. Very slow & seemed confused.

Found leaves and "garage bugs" continually being blown under the door and depositing on boxes and items inside the storage unit. My unit was 5×10 , with door the widest part so I had to bring a broom to sweep off the debris each time I came by.

Experienced nothing but trouble in Colorado before moving to Florida. First, the bad - reserved getting a hitch installed (in Colorado Springs, an hour away from our home) and then a 4x8 small trailer to take some personal items for our move approx 2 weeks out of our leaving Colorado. Then get a call the day before my hitch installation and they have to reschedule due to no hitch onsite. This happens on a Monday one week before we leave. Then we get a call the next day saying still no hitch and we must reschedule again. This time for Friday. But they agree to install part of the hitch assembly they do have on Wednesday and I drive 2 hours to get that done. Then we get a call saying our trailer is not available and no trailer available for the time we need on the entire front range. Time to panic. I called UHaul myself and find a bigger trailer (5x8) avail in Aurora, Co and reserve it for a Saturday after the rest of the hitch gets installed on Friday. Aurora is a 2-2,5 hour drive one way but at least it's available for Saturday. Thursday get a call from Colorado Springs and the hitch didn't show up scheduled to install now on Friday. Guaranteed it would show up Friday aftn so resked for hitch install at 7AM Saturday and then drive to Aurora to get trailer. Now Aurora calls and says the trailer is not available but they have one for me in Salida, an approx 3 hour drive up in the mtns from Aurora UHaul. Desperate at this point, I agree to go get it. Now for the good parts. The installation person in Colorado Springs installs the rest of the hitch EARLY Saturday morning and discounts the hitch install a little for my inconvenience. Good customer service although imagine my nervousness during the entire experience. The movers will be at my house Monday 8AM promptly and I needed this installation and trailer rental to go smoothly ahead of the moving truck showing up. I then drive up in the mountains to Salida to get the trailer and the people there could not have been nicer along with a TRAILER available for me. No discount or compensation for my inconvenience but I'm not expecting anything from UHaul. I finally get to my home Saturday aftn with a hitch and a trailer despite UHaul's causing me major inconvenience and headaches. The move proceeds smoothly and UHaul's location in Florida goes smoothly and professionally. No, I cannot recommend UHaul for your moving needs as it relates to Colorado locations. They could care less about having the customer change their schedule multiple times and drive untold hundreds of miles to get their services. No letter of apology, minor compensation for my inconvenience and major miles driven and time taken away from my move to get their services. Florida UHaul experience went well and I CAN AND DO recommend their location for their professionalism and organization.

The only negative thing I have, was that I signed up for automatic payment and that did not happen. I pride myself in having a good credit rating, so to my surprise, when I got a late payment notice, I was disappointed. But getting the payment done online was easy. My over all experience was great. I would recommend this facility to anyone .

Moved out June 20th, 1 day before the free month expired. Checked out with Jerry Emanuel, said he would check the unit and send my final receipt. Now I am getting pre-lein notices. I went to the office and had them check out my unit and give me a receipt as Jerry was not there. Now I received yet another lien notice on my unit I have not been in for almost a month. Plus, the so called climate control was almost 90 degrees every day I was there. This place is a joke and would never use this or any uhaul storage facility again!

Only had one problem when a microburst lifted the roof over our unit and some things were damaged and soaked. Employees helped by giving us new boxes and moving us to a new unit. The claim process was too complicated so we didn't get any compensation.

Not a very good experience at all! My storage unit was directly in the way of incoming/outgoing truck traffic and was constantly blocked. I was wrongfully charged $120 for apparently not dropping off one of the 26 ft trucks that I rented in the wrong location...error on U-hauls part. Why in the world would I go to St Francis when my unit is here and I live in Cape Coral? The lines inside the store were horrendous! OMG...you seriously need more staff members. Your facility is GROSSLY UNDERSTAFFED. And to try and contact someone by phone????? Good luck! I moved out of the location on July 2nd, 5 days before my move out was due, and verified it with 2 staff members. Apparently was not closed out in your system and at 1 am in the morning, 10 days later, was charged a late fee and full months rent! Was attempting to load a very heavy item into a 4x8 trailer myself....not a single staff member of your facility offered to help me. A staff member from another facility just happened to arrive and saw me struggling and asked to load it for me. The only good note that I have is that most, but not all, of your staff members were friendly. Alexis was able to resolve my move out issue and corrected the error. Kudos to her! Thank you very much!

Damages to my property from water and the elements., the unit has day light coming through it and rodents. The Manager tell you one thing. and the assistant another. Only persons who seems to know whats going on is the office girls. The manager ( Jerry ) is rude and is always telling you things that are store policy after the assistant manager tells you something different. When I told them I was moving my things out and about all the damage the couldn't have cared less, no ......Thank you or I'm so sorry ! I will file a claim to the insurance company. I will not use you again or recommend you to anyone. .

I keep a trailer inside the unit, the U Haul trailers were always parked in front of my unit. i told the manager what i was keeping in the unit and i needed access to the unit. was told, no problem.

Forgot my key when I went to empty my locker. Uhaul wanted to charge an exorbitant $50 to cut my lock off. This is all that prevented an excellent rating.

7-25-18 was not my move out date !! 7-17-18 was my move out date,cameras will verify that My email from uhaul stated automatic withdraw of $150,71 .I haven't recieved back protocol got me no where!

Everything good with Darren and all check-in. Then when I returned truck after 22 miles and putting in 2,5 gallons, Steve said it was not enough. Got more gas: total 5,5 gal. for 23 miles. Rip-off.

Staff very nice and helpful" problem lies with GM lack of availability by phone or ability to return calls. Also you make a reservation for a specific unit and arrive and they give you something else.

I rented a storage unit for over a year. No problems and the price was right. A broken gutter was immediately over our storage unit and rain would pour onto the door. gutter was replaced.
