Ants have envaded my storage space i brought it to uhaul attention twice and nothing was dome about it. Also i move out of my storage unit and had to move all my things back to ohio from Florida and they took 200 $from me and refused to give it back even tho i was moved out. Which also put me in a bad place in traveling. I was stuck in georgia for like 3 hours. They gave me a flawed truck i had to fix the wipers several times on the truck til eventually it couldnt be fixed anymore and i had to pay to replace it. Which also took from my gas money. Tires on trailer were low on air, and when loaded 1 tire was almost flat at 20psi , and wouldn't have survived if the landscape place wasn't able to put air in the tires. I mentioned this to the attendant when I returned the trailer and he said he would make a note of it. The ramp tailgate was bent and very difficult, almost impossible to latch/unlatch.Jeffery H.

The final return of the vehicle would need a friendlier attendant. I had rented two times and each time I would return the vehicle the attendant would say, â€œleave the keys in the car and go home!â€ I mean there was no â€œthank youâ€. Short staff and crazy. The team members were working as hard as they can at this location but some customers were very impatient and making it harder for the team members to do there job. It's not easy to deal with the general public.Paul D.
Nobody did a walk around with me. Nobody even told me I should do one on my own. No hand truck in the truck. I had to ask for one. When returning truck it is more difficult then needs to be. Wanted to verify my location. Would charge me 20 $if it wasn't turned in after hours. Both myself and another lady had issues getting location accurate on phone. U haul gets plenty of money from other fees. Charging somebody a fee because they can't get truck checked in. SERIOUSLY!DAVID O.

Had an oil leak from another unit next to me. No one did the thing after a month of complaints about it. Still oil on the floor after I cleared my unit out. Made me buy one of their specific locks instead of my lock because it's "more secure". Well it's my insurance covering my items so Uhaul isn't responsible for the stuff it it gets stolen so they shouldn't dictate which lock I can and can't use.scott M. | Expérience générale

Location should inspect and review condition of equipment prior to rental. Rubber padding on furniture dolly provided was falling off. Vehicle had 152 800 miles on it and the cab is in poor condition and engine has a bad â€œskipâ€ or cylinder misfire. I know you try to use the older/high mileage vehicles locally but a breakdown is just as serious and dangerous locally as well as over the roadCHARLES F.

We were checked in by Zola. She was very quick and super friendly. Earlier in the morning (1 hour earlier) I spoke to CS about changing unit sizes. CS told me that everything was changed and we were good to go. They verbally confirmed that the old unit was no-longer on my account and the new unit size was reserved since they only had one left at this location. Zola discovered that CS reserved the new unit size but also activated my other unit. Zola was able to quickly fix the CS error and made moving in easy. The location is super packed with equipment but it is obvious they work hard at keeping the area clear for loading, unloading and maneuvering your vehicle and equipment in and out of the location.Steven C. | Premières impressions

I was your customer for many years. When I first rented two units you had a couple: Manager and his wife who were wonderful and great people and very helpful, same as a very nice Cuban Lady. Then you remodeled and changed management, this time the manager, Jeff was OK, but the guy at the counter, a tall white guy had a very bad atitude, and treated me as if he was above, I don't know his name but most of the people that was at the Colonial Blvd facility under Jeff had that kind of attitude, and also look horrible (white trashy). Then you changed again for a new manager, I was told Jeff was moved to a brand new facility, I hope he has better hiring practice. Under this present management, the air conditioning is kept too high, it must be around mid 80s, very hot and I had lots of clothing and home lingerie there and in rainy season can get mildew. Thus I decided to move it to a different company which is even a little cheaper and have great maintenance. During my moving, I had to rent several times trucks, because I had lot of stuff and wanted to organize it neatly at the new place. Upon returning one of the trucks, stressed & tired as I was, I was received by a black guy outside to receive the truck under a tent, it was a very large truck and I was afraid of hitting one of the tents legs, I was only 6-7 feet from it and I told him my concern. He answered so nastily that the young man who was my moving helper said to me: "that guy sounded like he wanted to eat you alive, like an angry dog barking at you". So I did my best and brought the truck under the tent, and then went to get my own car to load a few things that I had in the truck & wanted to take home, yet...I was so distressed that upon making a turn on the street corner I went over the curb and the side of my right hand side of the car was hit and fell out broken irreparairably. I showed the manager later & he said he couldn't do anything about it because it was just outside of your premises, this accident is going to cost me approx. 500 $or more, out of my own pocket because I cannot afford my insurance to go higer. ALL OF THIS COULD HAVE BEEN AVOIDED IF THAT BLACK GUY RECEIVING THE TRUCK COULD HAVE HAD THE COURTESY OF DRIVING THE CAR A FEW FEET UNDER THE TENT, OUT OF COURTESY FOR A LADY IN DISTRESS, AND AN OLD CUSTOMER, OR BE POLITE AND NICE TALKING SO HE WOULD NOT GET ME SO DISTRESSED. Also, at the counters there is only person assisting customers and prospect customers and sometimes not even one, we have to wait until that person comes from outside, and waste our precious time, specially when we are paying helpers per hour and also renting the truck per hours. Oh, and again, after returning the last truck a white man around (25-32 years of age) in charge of receiving the trucks, had exactly the same attitude yelling/barking at me as I was there waiting to bring the car towards the tent. and to put the icing on the cake: the shock I got when I rented the last time a truck is that I thought I had paid for a whole day (24 hours) and the guy told me it was only for 6 hours, because he had it reserved after those 6 hrs. for someone else, and I had already lost an hour waiting to be assisted and done the paperwork! So you make 2 days truck rental pay out of one truck in 24 hrs? !!! That is not proper and it should be reported to BBB. Which I might do if I do not get a retribution from you. For all the reasons above, I will not recommend your service to any of my connections. My recommendation is that you scan well the people you hire, have enough employees to cover the services you offer, I see the girls at the counter do not last long because is too much work for one person to handle, and the guys are very nasty and do not present themselves with a professional look for the job they perform. Like I said above: the managers are ok, and except for 2 clean cut young boys, one Latin and one American, the rest are frankly gross! I complained to the managerThais P. | Expérience générale

The unit had a zip tie on it when I arrived, which is fine except it was not easy to "pop off" as the office told me and I did not come with scissors. The lock that was supposed to be in my unit was also not there so I had to go back to the office again to retrieve it. I wanted the largest climate controlled unit they had. I reserved it by phone so they said it would be a 10 x 30. The men started unloading my furniture & said that it was not air conditioned.
