They were an hour late getting our truck to us. When we finally got the truck, the latch was broken on the back & wouldn’t shut!!! We had to bring it back & barely make it through with a smaller truck. The experience with this location was HORRIBLE.

We did lose a couple of hours of truck rental due to a required truck return. The prior renter had damaged the roof, and although this was pointed out to me at pickup, water leak problem was not addressed. As soon as we went in the truck and could see daylight through the roof, we knew we had to switch trucks as rain was in the forecast. In the end, everything was resolved, but I did lose 2 hours of load time, 2 hours of the cooler part of the day, and a responsibility to follow up on mileage credit due to returning the truck. Overall a good experience with a few hiccups at the start.

the truck was clean and did not need a cleaning. It was swept and blown out with a blower. is this the reason i was told not to come in in the morning? SO I COULD GET RIPPED OF FOR $10.00. The truck was in ruff shape with a poor quality seat cover with floor ripped. I drove it for less than seven miles. Drove great but need to watch what they charge you for.

That location would not take it. said lot was full and we received a text saying we could return to 3947 Peachtree Road Atlanta. Before we returned it.called UHaul and was informed that we had to return to address on contract or we would incur substantial penalty. You made me waste a lot of time. Not happy

Picked up truck / trailer and drove 5 miles to storage to load, noticed trailer tire flat. Pumped up tire, called U-Haul they told me to go ahead and finish loading, then take it back where I got it. Disconnected U-Haul trailer from truck and hooked it to my 2500 Ram(U-Haul trailer has no tongue jack, so had to hook to my truck to load both units same time). Finished loading hooked my 13 ft enclosed trailer to U-Haul truck(my trailer has a tongue jack). Took trailer back to U-Haul and ask them to put another tire on, he said the tire was fine. I ask 3 times to have the tire changed as I was going 1000 miles. He said the tire wasn’t leaking. Went to hotel. 4AM FLAT TIRE! Called U-Haul Customer Service they said roadside assistance would arrive 2-4 hours. I discussed with her about taking the trailer back to the U-Haul service center, 3 miles, and having the tire changed. She advised they would open at 7AM. 6:55 AM U-Haul manager would not even speak to me until 7. 7AM he tells me that they don’t change tires I will have to unload/reload on another trailer. I advised I was not reloading the trailer, he then looked at the U-Haul trailer attached to my truck, turned to my trailer attached to the 26ft U-Haul and told me I had two breeches of contract and he had pics with bothe U-Haul units going out hooked together. I ask him do you load a U-Haul truck with a trailer hooked to it? How do you load a U-Haul trailer with no tongue jack? He then proceeds to tell me I should have hooked the U-Haul trailer back to the U-Haul truck. I ask how you get the trailer off of the truck with no tongue jack, he tells me they have one at the uhaul facility. THEY DONT HAVE ONE 5 MILES away at the storage facility. The manager continues on with how suspicious it is to not have both units together and literally treats me like a criminal. I stated again that I was not reloading and he might as well call Roadside Assistance. He stated that I had turned down customer service at 4AM and they would not come. I call U-Haul Customer Service and talk with regional Manger who was on phone with manager. She sides with Manager. I said the only way I would reload the trailer is if they gave me trailer credit towards a 15 ft truck....she would only do a 10...Why? I’m still paying the full cost of the truck. In the middle of the conversation a guy pulls up to me in a Jeep and tells me to take the trailer around back and they would CHANGE THE TIRE! I pull the trailer around back and there sits a U-HAUL SERVICE TRUCK WITH BRAND NEW MOUNTED TIRES IN THE BACK!!! Ten minutes later I was on the road totally disgusted!!! This was my 13th move using U-Haul equipment and probably my last.

The guy insisted the tire was fine. Went to hotel before heading out 1000 miles. 4AM TRAILER TIRE FLAT! Called U-Haul customer service, they said 2-4 hours. I said, why don’t I just take it back where I got it(3 miles). She said that would be fine, they open at 7AM. 6:55 AM/ U-Haul manager will not speak to me until 7. At 7 he tells me that they don’t change tires(this is a big facility) that I would have to reload trailer onto another one. He then looks at the U-Haul trailer hooked to my truck. Turns to the U-Haul 26ft truck with my trailer and tells me I have two breaches of contract. He now treats me like a criminal because both U-Hauls are not hooked together and proceeds to tell me he has pics of them hooked together and it looks really suspicious having them separated. I went through the scenario of NO TONGUE JACK ON U-HAUL TRAILER! He continues to tell me it looks suspicious. I told him I wasn’t going to reload the trailer, call road side assistance. He told me he couldn’t call them, as I had already turned them down at 4AM. He then tells me I didn’t tell them I wanted the tire changed. I talked with the area manager on the phone who sided with the facility manager. I said if I was going to unload, credit me the price of the trailer towards a 15 ft truck....she would only credit towards a 10 ft truck. After being on the phone over an hour a guy drives up and tells me to bring the trailer around back and they WOULD CHANGE THE TIRE! I took the trailer aroun back....and....THERE SITS A U-HAUL ROADSIDE TRUCK WITH NEW TIRES IN THE BACK!!! It was sitting there the whole time!!!! 10 minutes later I was on my way......totally disgusted. This is my 13th move using U-Haul and I was treated like criminal over a flat tire THAT THEY DIDNT CHECK. Oh they gave me a rebate of $50 dollars on $1500 for my trouble.

When I rented the truck the assistant manager was great, however the truck broke down on me 4 times. I called roadside assistance twice and they came out and stated nothing was wrong but the truck continued to shut off while driving. The worst part is that no one wanted to offer me any type of discount for my inconvenience. Very disappointed in Uhaul.

perhaps installing mounting brackets on the inside of the trailer that are compatible with standard rachet strap hooks. Having to use rope is ok, but it would really be helpful to be able to use rachet strap directly

Charged me a wrong destination fee but this was the next closest uhaul. Then filed a complaint and never got a response from them I called uhaul and they said that he sent me an email on 5/22 I never got in regular or spam. And he would not change the charge and uhaul customer service would not return my money. I will never use uhaul again. And will tell everyone I know to never used them. And will call better business bureau and inform of the poor quality of service, poor communication, invoices and busy and confusing hard to read, missing emails , you all have at all locations.!

Drop off location told me the trailer was not safe to be rented. Chains for trailer were all rusty and worn half way thru. The safety brake was not hooked up so if the trailer popped loose then take would have not worked. In their words “this epuioment should have never been rented and or drove 300 miles in this condition.

Had to wait in line about 40 min to be waited on. I suspect that is more a result of the day & time of the pick up than anything else. Maybe develop time slots for pickup or dedicated lines for truck rentals, trailer rentals & sales. The staff were very friendly and apologetic.

We first went to pick up the Uhaul at Better Way Ministries in Peachtree City at 9am and the trucks lights were not working we were there until 2pm something and we had to drive the truck to the corporate headquarters in Peachtree City to see if they could figure out what was wrong with the truck and the guy said the lights on the truck was the problem not the tow dolly so we had to drive the truck all the way back to Better Way Ministries and then go back to corporate to get another truck so we have wasted a whole day by this time we finally left around 3:30pm. We brought the Uhaul back to corporate on Sunday night because the guy said he would discount it even more for us with all of the trouble we went threw. Now I get an email stating we owe $130.00 more and today another email saying we owe late fee of $30.00 so the total is $150.00 more for all of the trouble we have gone three we these people and they show no empathy at all for their customers! We will never use either one of these companies again!! It was not our responsibility to run up and down the road to see what the problem was with the Uhaul truck!!! Parking lot on this retrofitted building is way too narrow. Probably 60’-62’ wide. With large trucks and trailers even a larger “normal” lot width of 65’ is too narrow, considering that many of your trucks and towed trailers require a minimum turning RADIUS probably 35’ to 40’. I had an 8am pick up reservation and when I got there there was only one person on site to process and take care of myself and 5 other customers in line ahead of me . I took close to an hour for me to finally pick up my 6 x 12 enclosed trailer and put me considerably behind on my schedule for the day . Please be assured that your representative on staff did an exceptional job considering the circumstances and should be commended for his performance under that kind of pressure . I don't have the young man's name but he did the best he could to provide the best possible customer service under his constraints .

Truck was in poor maintenance. Shortly after starting my drive, the oil change indicator lit-up. I called the 800 number and they told me to add a quart of oil. It seems the indicator actually meant the truck was due for an oil change, and was not something that needed urgent attention.. 800 number respondents need more accurate information. Then the weather stripping along the windshield came off. In the end, getting the oil checked and the weather stripping looked at (800 number eventually told me to buy some duck tape and tape the weather stripping onto the windshield), I was four hours behind schedule on my first day.

The staff is wonderful. They are very knowledgeable and helpful. However, I was told that the largest unit could hold a 3 bedroom house belongings. It did not and I had to rent another one.

The agent at this location changed the quoted prices and added insurance that was not in the quote emailed to me or agreed upon. Tow dolly was quoted at $59 and had written proof and they changed it to $103 and forced insurance on the dolly at $25 additional charge. Never gave the packing blankets that were paid for. Unacceptable behavior from a big company. You cannot arbitrarily change quoted prices
