This location always seems to be short staffed and they are always busy. It took longer than I expected to drop off the trailer and I had to go inside to get someone even though they have signs posted to stay with your equipment. I was supposed to be able to check in on the app. My truck was not ready, and took nearly an hour to get it. Thankfully, I arrived before the store closed, or I would've been without a U-Haul. The customer service women were very helpful and very busy. Also not too happy with the site saying a 15' truck could move a 2bedroom apartment. Not even close, and I don't even have that much stuff compared to other people. Wasted money on that truck when I could've done it in one trip with something larger instead of moving 1,5 hours away and having to do that trip twice in one day! And why is a dolly extra? Home Depot doesn't charge extra for their dollies, plus they come with a lock on the back so your valuables are safe overnight, unlike this U-Haul, and I had to worry about someone stealing my stuff I loaded up in it last night all night. I ended up not even using the dolly or the moving pads I paid for at all but didn't want to not have them just in case. Very unhappy with U-Haul and will not be using this business again.Tiffany B.

Horrible experience + facility. There are mice droppings all over the place. I hardly put anything in the unit because they're so dirty. Joyce was super rude & unhelpful. The faccility was dirty, & the unit door was too small (no dimensions on website). The move-in instructions that I received via email we're also incorrect. While checking in, Joyce lied about the free lock on the website and forced us to buy another. Once we were allowed to access the unit, there was a free lock inside. This location was amazing. Despite being the end of the month and them being super busy, they allowed me to pick my truck up a day early. When I came in the lady behind the counter was dismissive and not interested in helping me. I stood there for over 5 mins (with no one in front of me) before she even acknowledged me. When I said I make a reservation online, she said we dont have any of those this morning. i asked do you have once for me (frist and last name) she said "no you must have done it wrong" I gave her the confirmation code from me email and she said that wasnt even valid and she couldnt do anything with it. I realize some times things dont work right, and if she were kind about this, I would be ok with it. But because she was clearly annoyed with me being there, I will look for a different provider next time, and if I decide to use U Haul it will certainly not be this locationJAMES K.

They are running abit amok, lengthy times to process a customer. Took 45 min to get me out. Need more people there. Mechanic running all ove rather place doing check ins checkouts at computer while Haisley walking out back to hook up a trailer, couldn't find an extension poured, I had to pay 13 $for an adapter. The trailer did not have a jack and was very heavy and so I could not park it while unloading and go to my other location. Upon return I waited in line for 25 minutes, the lead girl there noticed my truck Park and asked if I had to return finally and told me to just drive around back and park it next to the other one which I did, and then came in the back door to wave my hand to get help to unhook it/return process, which took another 20 minutes before mechanic was free, he was clearly frazzled shaking his head (95 degrees outside), wrestled it off and slid it on the ground up hill to park it and said there good to go, was otherwise professional and friendly. Then I got a call 6 hrs later from the 3rd girl there asking how much longer I need to have it , I informed her I returned it 6 hrs ago. She blamed the mechanic. I feel sorry for them all.DANIEL H.

This facility and their people went way above and beyond to make our experience a good one. I would recommend them to anyone. Our U-Haul trailer was dropped off yesterday late morning. The man was too busy so I'm not selling lottery tickets to have much time for us. We parked the trailer where we were told and have not heard anything else. Both of our experiences with local dealers we're 100 % better than corporate (one 800 U-Haul.) We got to talk to a real person and we're not hung up on or treated like a number.Gerald D.

This is the worst location I've ever been to. I've used uhaul for years. Up and down the east coast and never will again. The manager was very rude as well as the employees. The equipment was broken and caused us to be late and keep the truck and extra day. I got a black eye for 2 weeks. And we were promised a refund and never got it. I will never use UHaul again in my life. I registered two weeks before my move online. My pick up site was changed from Taylor Mill, to Alexandria, to Erlanger. Your website didn't work for pick up or drop off. Thank the gods for the human on site at Erlanger on Sunday morning. I reserved a 15' truck from the Elsmere, KY location on State Route 25. The night before I was to pick it up I was told I had to go to the UHaul on 1st street in Florence, KY and that the only thing available was a 26' truck. I could not use a 26' truck as it would not fit in my driveway and I had no where to park it at my house I was moving my son into. I called Uhaul and received no help. I went to the Uhaul on Dixie Hwy and received no help. Aaron at the 1st street location in Florence, KY went the extra mile and was able to get me a van from the Elsmere location. He was the only one at Uhual that seemed to care and was willing to help. Only getting the van required me to also have to borrow a vehicle from someone, but at least we were able to complete the move on the planned day. Aaron was awesome, everyone else was terrible. You seem to be good at taking reservations, but you stink at holding reservations, which is really the entire point of having a reservation. I will be looking at your competitors going forward.TIMOTHY D.

The road side part of uhaul most definitely needs improved I sat on the side of the road with a flat tire for 1 hr and 45 minutes before someone answered and then had to transfer me then I got hung up onTHEODORE O.
This whole experience was a joke. First they messed up for reservation and put it for the wrong weekend when I had made the reservation weeks prior. Then I had to make another reservation morning of my move because they put my reservation for the wrong weekend. I then showed up to the Erlanger location to pick up my truck and they had the reservation under the wrong name. The new person checked me in which took 30 mins while his coworkers talked and bullshit amongst their selves. Then the girl at the front desk was getting a very rude attitude with me. They were able to eventually find my reservation. Once I got home I realized they did not include my appliance dolly and moving pads. On my receipt though I was charged for a furniture dolly but wasn't given one. I tried calling the location 4 times but could never get through to anyone. I returned my vehicle early and was then charged an additional 39 $with no explanation of why. This place was an absolute joke.Whitney K.

When I picked it up, the truck smelled heavily of cigarettes, and the ashtray had ashes in it. The cargo area also had a smell to it, The cigarette smell was bad enough I had to drive with the windows open.KENNETH M.
