I made my reservation to pick up a truck at a different U-Haul location. The U-Haul web site stated that my preferred U-Haul location had seven types of trucks, including pickup trucks. A day and a half after getting my rental confirmation U-Haul sent a text stating the pick up location had been changed. I received no call and no explanation as to why I would have to drive an extra 40 miles to rent the pickup truck I needed.

When we got to our storage area it was well cleaned and maintained. They even went the extra mile since we had booked a one way truck in making sure we could turn in the truck there. Very grateful for them helping us save time and energy.

Her name is Ty and we want to personally commend U-Haul for employing this wonderful, energetic, and friendly agent. When we arrived, she was busy not only with us, but with two other customers. What impressed us was her ability to handle all three of her customers simultaneously, with the speed and efficiency of three agents. It is truly rare to see this type of skill and customer service anywhere! Kudos to U-Haul and to Ty for making our brief encounter so memorable.

david kThis has nothing to do with this location..... I was originally scheduled for pickup and another location and I never got a confirmation beforehand. I spent at least 45 minutes on the phone with your scheduling department trying to determine where I could pick up my one way 6x12 trailer. If I had another choice of supplier I would absolutely pick them. I have used U haul twice in the month and being a monopoly is the only reason for your market share. The same thing happened in our previous rental; we could not pick up at our closest location and were informed at the last minute. When we did the turn in of equipment previously I also had to call back for days to make sure the receipt was logged and get a final receipt. Fix your scheduling and logistical issues.

JOHNNIE MLady at counter did not tell me I had to refill any fuel. Used maybe two gallons of fuel and was charged $25 for fuel and $28 for mileage. Very upset. Cost me $100 to drive the smallest box truck less than 30 miles round trip.
Kendall MThe mileage (odometer) was incorrect. I uploaded a picture of the reading however, the correction was not made on the contract or my card! The agent was very pleasant during rental check in.

aja r | Premières impressionsThey tried to force me to get the insurance. They told me it was mandatory. I asked them to show it to me in writing because it wasn't optional add-on. She called her manager when she got off the phone. She says we can remove it but if you damaged a vehicle you have to pay us $31,000, trying to scare me into getting it. Their ethics need improvement. This is the worst experience I have ever had to deal with with U-Haul. Please note you are not required to use their insurance at $15 a day.

MICHAELLESLIE KThe AC didn't work in the truck. I was able to make an online reservation, but when I got to the store. I was told there were no trucks available. They found one but asked that it be returned that day by 7pm. My reservation was made for a 24 rental. I returned it before 7pm, but certainly could have used it longer.

JOSE ANothing negative to report. But I would like to comment on two managers, Taheisha Brower and Megan Hamm. I rented a cargo van and didn't verify the dashboard info to the paperwork. I did look at the milage. When I got to my destination i compared the paperwork to the dash. there were two discrepant items. I called Megan and she handled the problem kindly and professionally. Still the fuel gauge must have been kicked it out and I was erroneously charged for gas. So Taheisha fixed that the next morning. First by opening early because she saw me outside. She went out of her way to get me straight. I have been dealing with this location (#824025) for 5 years. I have never had a bad experience but never have I had such great "extra" service. My sincere thanks and I'll be back.
JOHNFRANCIS NSuper friendly staff. The interior of the location is clean and staff made the process quick and easy Clean vehicle with GREAT air conditioning - very important in the summer. Overall very pleased with this location and will go to them again if I need to.

FRED WThe trailer was rented to me with wood chips in the basin. I didn't mind because it's a trailer. Before returning the trailer, however, I thoroughly cleaned out all of the woods chips to return the trailer clean. Despite this fact I was charged a $15 cleaning fee. When I called to complain I was put on infinite hold. I called back and was told their system was down and they would return my call. They never did. Unacceptable.

John HI would have liked to pick up both the truck and trailer at the same location just like I reserved it but no I picked up the truck in one location and trailer at another meaning I paid taxes twice. I also had to call them before 5pm on the day before pickup because no one ever called like the email said and if I had not called I would not have known to pick up the truck at another location first because dupont only had the trailer

By busted, I mean, the screws holding the lock on were just sitting in two oversized holes so all anyone had to do to access my unit was to use there hand to pull off the lock area. I always got the same response, well we have cameras. No one ever messed with my unit. But still would've been nice to have that extra security of a locked storage unit I should've had the whole time. The bathroom finally got fixed within the last few months. The storage facility is well lit and always clean. Every person I talked to, in the office, was professional and courteous. The housekeeper was always friendly and a sweet woman to talk too. I have recommended this U-Haul and would recommend again, even with my broken lock. I am writing this in hopes that corporate can finally send the stores the right supplies to fix said issue. Since everytime it was ordered, the hardware would not come or wasn't available. Merci.

I submit my move out request prior to the payment due date and I received an email a little while later saying that I still needed to pay on the unit. I told them I sent out a request prior to the due date and I received ANOTHER email saying I owe. It makes me wonder whether you all are trying to take people's money or perhaps your system is unorganized. After calling up there, the lady says she saw my move in request and that someone would give me a call back. I received NO call back and just yesterday received another random email saying I owe. I respond to that one saying I already went through this and I have evidence to prove I do not owe you all. After no response, I finally receive an email including my receipt from my move out. HUH? I will definitely not be using the Uhaul at Dupont again. Also, the employees that sent these emails are Mary Treschenko and Sulma Culbertson.

We had a unit on the outside at the U-Haul across from Bellwood on Jefferson Davis. When we emptied the unit it was just as clean inside as when we rented it. No bugs or rodents and no water had entered the unit. Thanks again we will rent there again if we should ever need your service.
