ROBERT LThis was the worse rental experience I have ever had. Not only did I not get the vehicle I requested, had to go to another store away from where I live to get something I did not need. The vehicle was a gas hog, which added another 100 dollars to the rental cost. It cost me over 330 dollars for a rental that lasted less than 24 hours. I will NEVER use your company, or recommend your company to anyone I know. The vehicle itself was (is) outdated, no cruise control, no was to adjust the mirrors from the inside, no way to charge my phone, the brake and gas pedal are WAY to close together. I will rent a Avis, or Budget vehicle next time. 0 stars for this company.

Vicente ADollys were reserved for use far ahead of time and we're not available when I went to pick up my truck and equipment. I also had to travel to a different location to pick up my reserved truck. Overall, a poor experience at both Harlingen locations due to a disorganized service, however staff members were nice enough.
ADANNA ONithing. Our u boxes actually arrived early. It was a pleasure working with all staff; from store experience to the staff that delivered & picked up the boxes.
John HThe equipment was not ready when I went to pick it up. It took the owner 37 minutes to get my truck and trailer ready. Then expected me to still bring it back within the time scheduled- GARBAGE! The rental was for 5 hours, not the clock. Also the mileage on the contract was not accurate. It was 5 miles less than the actual mileage on the odometer. I expect better .

I walked in, right in front of the manager and he did not even acknowledge me...I felt like an idiot standing there waiting for someone to help me...he could have simply said, "Good morning, someone will be right with you." instead of the "i hate my job" look on his face. Assistant manager was very friendly.
JESUS G | Premières impressionsI was sent 5 miles from my requested pickup location because of availability. When I dropped off the truck I was told that I was 4 miles over and I was charged $4.40. Customers already pay from requested pickup to drop off. Any additional mileage should be covered by U Haul unless they would rather deliver truck to requested pick up location prior to pick up. Please advise customers of this potential mileage charge when we place order.

CHARLES KHire courtiuos people ! Didn't get a hello upon arrival nor a thank u when Truck was turned in ! Bad attitude phone service ! Their tone was rude when i was trying to get extra days with the truck ! It's not easy to move from one place to another ! Didn't need that extra stress ! would of been nice to get at least a hello! instead i got to the next desk in a bad tone ! cuz he was on the computer ! Would i go to that location again ? Never !!!

Rodolfo HFirst, the truck they gave us was shaking badly on the freeway. We were afraid the tire was going to fly off so we took the roads on bottom which added time to our schedule. Secondly, I also rented a storage room from there and when we arrived after my move about ten minutes after my turn in time and I just took down a few boxes and took the truck back to the front. I was an hour late on my turn in time and the people were so so rude and charged me another day and insurance. They were not willing to work with me at all. I have always rented trucks at UHAUL and have never been treated so wrong and unfairly.

Jose Hwithout a doubt, this was the least stressful way to make a move across the country! It was the most cost effective, effortless way of moving all our belongings. Would recommend this to anyone...don't plan on moving again, but if we did this would be the ONLY way I'd consider doing it!

Enrique TLilly at your Harlingen ubox holding station is very rude, blows hot air in frustration of her own stupidity, is very uniformed in how to do her job, and leaves you on hold for 15 minutes then transfers you to a department you don't need. Mary her manager didn't bother with my call and I was told she left for the day after holding for an extreme amount of time.

My only guess is that it came from the roof above or a sprinkler line that runs above the unit. I couldn't tell if the sprinkler line above the unit might have had a leak that caused the stain on my leather sofa.

A $1 000 fine was placed and 180 days in jail for people being out in the streets and not obeying the Shelter In Place regulations. Per city, essential meant workers for ambulance, police, fire dept., hospitals & groceries. I told them that as soon as they we were allowed to be out, I'd go for my things. The city opened May 4th and the same week, I moved my things as promised. There were no fees, late fees & etc. for leaving things their because of the virus. It is wonderful that U-Haul works with the customers and the community to help prevent the virus. I am grateful for their understanding and highly recommend their business and help.

Although that's good for business, on every occasion, there was never enough employees available to assist customers. I understand there are currently circumstances beyond our control right now but this problem goes back for months. The wait in line was often over 30 minutes and my final bill transaction happened after hours because of a lack of staffing. That lack of staffing later lead to a problem where I had to defend my integrity on whether or not I closed out my account.
