As I observe Josh deal with an onslaught of challenging circumstances, he remains calm, cool, collected, and always respectful in the expediency of service he delivers. I appreciate him and his team at the Eubank location!

Patricia T."Clean" is a relative term used by U-Haul. The previous customer did not actually clean the vehicle, nor did I. I left the vehicle in the condition I found it. I didn't wipe it down in any way. There was no trash. Everything worked. It was fine. But clean? It was clean according to U-Haul standards.
Danny W.We did mobile check-in, but the truck assigned to us was blocked in by other trucks. So we still had to go inside. There was only one person working at the front desk, so we had to wait about 15 minutes before it was even our turn for him to help us. He got our truck out and then we realized that it didn't have the amount of blankets that we had rented online. He gave us another bag, but we didn't realize there was only six in each bag so we ended up shorted another dozen blankets. We went with the actual U-Haul store over a local U-Haul rental franchise because we thought it would be faster and easier. Mobile check-in was useless for us because we still had to wait on the U-Haul employee.

Emery G.We initial reserved a 6x12 trailer on Sun., May 1 for 24 hrs (4:45pm - 4:45pm Mon.) at the Eubank store in Albuquerque. We were contacted by an employee from the location who asked us to come in at 4:30 so they could go home. We did, not realizing the problems this would cause. The employee then told us we had to pay for two days because "each day is 12 hours, so you booked it for two 12hr periods", their workday. We protested, but he insisted, so we cancelled, at great inconvenience to us. After contacting the help chat online and speaking to another person on the phone, we learned that we were correct, and that 24 hours is one day's charge. We still needed the trailer, so we booked it again, ready to present evidence for paying for one day (24 hrs) only. We spoke to the manager when we arrived and were told that the problem the first time was because we picked up the trailer and 4:30 with a return time of 4:45 the next day, thus we were being charged for going over 24 hours by 15 min. I tried to explain that we did not book it for 4:30, but we were asked by an employee to come in 15 min early. We received no apology, but instead was told "that's why you were being charged for two days." I asked that the manager do an audit to see if any other customers had been overcharged due to this oversight. He did not acknowledge my request. We felt the attitude from the manager was rather hostile, and we ended up apologizing to diffuse the situation. Needless to say, we made sure to return the trailer early and as clean as we could get it to avoid any reason this manager might find to charge us more than the usage fee.

The truck was damaged but no one came out to inspect the truck with me. Just me and an app. I am taking on a lot of responsibility and it would be nice if someone from Uhaul would walk the truck with me and acknowledge the smell, dirt, dents, and scratches on the truck. It was just a gross experience. I didnt even book at this location. The original place I booked messaged me that they didnt have the truck so they sent me to the closest one and this is the crap I got. Very disappointed.

Eugene C.I have used U-Haul in past moves and had no issues. There for I am a returning customer. With this move I went online to reserve the equipment, dates, and time 2 weeks prior to move. It was approved and I was given a reservation number. I made my other arrangements to move. 2 days prior to moving I was contacted by U-Haul that it was not possible given the time of month to release the equipment for the time approved by the reservation. I compromised to shorten the window that I need to aquire the equipment. It was very inconvenient, due to I already had plans in place. I confirmed the new pickup and drop off times. Come moving day I showed up 30 mins early and was informed by the employee that once again I would have to compromise on time allowed to use equipment. It went from 48 hours to 24 hours to only 10 hours to use equipment. Thus making it impossible to move all my belongings. Reason given was the employee said that being late with the equipment on return was unacceptable due to a double booking made by another employee. The employee that was service me and another employee contacted management to come up with a resolution. Which resolved in a 24 hour rental. I am not satisfied with my experience and am not sure if I'll continue using U-Haul for my relocating needs. They were very inconvenient and stressful experience. Relocating is stressful as is don't need a moving equipment company to add to the stress.

However when we or when we asked him to call and see if they had availability he dial the number and then hang up hang up. We had the reverse situation at the office on San Mateo. In the same day she was able to call the Eubank office and get everything squared away so we didn't have to go back-and-forth.
