I replaced the fuel at a gas station just down the street returning it to the correct level. Yet I was charged 19,00 $ for fuel when I returned it. This is outrageous! I also had reserved 2 utility dollies on-line which were not there. I could not move what I needed to without them. They were finally able to find 2 but I don't understand how they can just not be available when they have been already reserved?

The agent helped me with adjusting the mirrors after I asked him to do so. This should automatically be a service provided to customers. The agent was very professional and efficient in helping me register and get on my way.

I did the online check in for a cargo van, and wow what a hassle. Pretty sure I could have rented a Lamborghini with a debit card more easily than U-Haul made that process. I had to provide an alternate contact, wait for someone to call them, and then they decided I needed another contact. All told it was a good 20 minutes before I could get the vehicle, just standing there waiting for verification. If it was necessary for them to have this ridiculous amount of red tape for a van, they should have done it ahead of time, or at least made it possible for the guy at the counter to help. Apparently once you start the online check in the people working there can't do anything to help. Pretty unimpressed with U-Haul after this.

The person was not in the shop and nowhere to be found. I had to walk around for 5 minutes before I found the mechanic who just told me to go back into the shop.

My rental was 4hrs over the time it was supposed to be ready for me. Not a big issue and I was very friendly to the staff. The manager told me at first that the truck needed to be repaired, then changed the story and said the person who rented the truck was running late. Halfway into the move the truck started to over heat to the point of pegging the temp gauge. I had to let the truck cool for 30 min before resuming the move. This happened four times which cost me an additional 2 hrs. I returned the truck to find where I had park overnight was now being blocked by trucks. After asking I waited 35 min and because I had already paid I was now not the priority. I asked three times if the manager and the tech could move the trucks. I was told "Our other customers are the priority" by the tech and the manager said "I would have to be patient." I was there first!!! The staff and manager were rude, the shop disorganized and messy. I will never return to this location again and I will do everything I can to avoid this location even it means going out to Rio Rancho. DO NOT USE THIS LOCATION!!!

This location is squeezed into a corner of a busy intersection. Pulling big trucks and/or trailers in is difficult and they have little room for maneuvering, plus equipment gets backed up. I'd look for a less congested location. Guys working there were very helpful.

Service was horrible. Waiting for an hour, to be attended to. Reservations was from 9-3pm checked out at 10am. Shorted one hour. Was told to bring truck at 3 or else!! Staff did not do a walked around the vehicle, marked the incorrect gas level!! Truck was on empty!! I spoke with a representative over the past phone, representative fix the time, of the return, and the level of the gas.

We came to return a trailer we rented and went in and told one of the guys that we'd be out back waiting fir him to unhook the trailer. He said he'd “ be right there” about 20 minutes later I went in to find out why they hadn't come out to help USAF's was told by one of the guys that “ he forgot” we were out there waiting!!! The other guy said he never knew we were out there waiting! Both guys were just sitting down doing nothing. One guy head his feet up reclining !!! Waste of my time on my vacation day from work!!! Ridiculous and lazy!!! Not happy!

The guy at the drop off location will never win any customer service awards. HOWEVER, he is straightforward, with a no frills clarity in his expression of U-haul policy. If U-haul wants a clear expression of policy to customers with zero customer service excellence, this guy does a good job. If U-Haul wants good customer service with people who convey that they give two shits, this is probably not the guy. He does seem competent. That may be all you want. For my money, I think I will go elsewhere in the future. Even though I didn't like how I was treated, the gas tank policy is clearly stated (however small the print) in three places: contract, truck dash, and key chain. U-Haul is deliberately putting the customer in a buyer beware scenario knowing moving is stressful. My advice: be SUPER careful about the increment of gas in the tank and SUPER careful about refilling it or you are just handing them free gas and stoking their profits. Buyer beware.

The U-Haul App has pretty bad U/I on the checkout/ rental and return portion of the process. the attempt to push add on services and products should be condensed to one page. With how bad the app functioned it seems like the app would work better as a reservation or equipment hold option and the rental and return be completed in person.

The employee that did the check in for me was extremely rude! I had just opened the door of the truck when he literally came out of nowhere and surprised me. He said something to me but I couldn't hear him really well because he was wearing a complete face covering from neck to nose. I was going to give him my Contract papers when he basically yelled at me and told me all he needed was my phone #. Once we when into the store I realized that me not being able to hear him at the beginning wasn't the issue. He was being rude! I was trying to return a mattress bag that I had purchased and didn't end up using after all and he kept on screaming at me. It could of ended really bad if I would of decided to give him the same energy he was giving me. This is Customer Service at the end of the day. If you don't like your job you should work somewhere else. All I was trying to do was return the truck and a mattress bag End of story. No need for him to be extremely rude to me for no reason!

I have rented from this U-Haul for many years I have never had a worse customer experience then I had renting this truck. The U-Haul counter person was aggressive and rude and curt and hostel. It really was alarming how unbelievably rude this young man was. Seemingly for no reason. I simply walked in to get my truck for a reservation and he was hostile from the first 30 seconds before I said anything. I cannot recommend U-Haul this location as long as this man works there it was really truly horrible.

The worker that helped me was very rude and unpolite. I even told him he was being rude. Not very friendly people here. There was a guy before me and he even mentioned that they were even late to open the business. And that the worker was grumpy.

The gentleman who we worked with was very short with us. He did assist Us in finding a better location that would suit our needs.. However when we or when we asked him to call and see if they had availability he dial the number and then hang up hang up. We had the reverse situation at the office on San Mateo. In the same day she was able to call the Eubank office and get everything squared away so we didn't have to go back-and-forth.

This uhaul has a single employee that consistently makes things difficult for customers. I've rented 8 uhauls in the last 3 months for business and I've had two less than pleasant experiences with him. In addition Ive watched him make it difficult for other customers as well.
