LINDA MThe front desk clerks were complaining about a customer among themselves and were slow and distracted. I had a simple rental but it took way too much time at the front desk to get a simple transaction completed. The outside staff were great both picking up and dropping off. Very quick. I have used your Gandy location many times and understand post Hurricane Helene everyone is stressed out but that conversation should have taken place out of the current customer's hearing.
RENEE MI would not recommend using U-Haul in the future as I was overcharged. I got charged a rental rate of $39,95 and a rental charge of $39.95. The person helping me rent the truck told me this would be adjusted after I returned the truck but it was not.

BECKY CWas charged for going 651 miles in 4 hours. Person I spoke to said it looked like human error, but had no resolution. Sent the picture of mileage, only 51 actual miles, filled with more gas than necessary and in the condition I picked it up in. Emailed and called again but haven't heard back.
DENISE MShop closed at 6:54pm. Advertised 7pm. We stopped right in front of the location with the truck and was told by staff to log in online to make the return as they are closing shop. We tried website had issues and could not log on. Then called the customer services department. We were on hold for 5min and was then transferred to the truck department and on hold for another 20min. The lady that assisted us this time was friendly and helpful and added notes on the system to explain the above. It would've taken the ladies at the return 5min to finish the return but it was more convenient for them to transfer to the call center. If your staff want to leave on time- post closing time 30min prior to allow enough time to close up shop and handle equipment check in and drop off.

Alan CHopefully you will not be moving while it's raining! We did and the truck had multiple leaks in the roof causing all of our things to get wet. When I mentioned this to the worker at the time of return they said they will have someone look at it. No apology or compensation was given.

BRYAN A1- have the equipment where told it would be. 2- have the equipment checked to ensure it operates properly (A/C went out during 100 degree temps) 3- have the equipment clean. Found what appeared to be blood on the cab of the truck… and not just a little tiny spot. 4- return calls when requested. 5- when dropping off equipment actually have someone there during business hours. Waiting with several other people (it was a little after 10:00 AM) and waited over 30 minutes to finally find someone… which we HAD to find out in the parking lot. I would like a call back

Was told they would be where they needed to for delivery and unloading, but staff eventually refused to move them, so hired movers had to drive further to a different state to pick up, deliver, and unload the boxes. SARAH TI paid for insurance that I was told by sale agent behind counter. She was very nice but didn't explain that there was more than 1 option for insurance. Now when I return truck clean and more gas than they gave it to me. I'm told that I owe 197 for damage to truck that I never put on truck. Sorry but I'm not happy and will be calling and writing to corporate. I have 2 witness that were there when I got truck. They never went inside back to check truck. They just send me pictures of truck outside. I believe that soneobe else used truck prior to me and now that only did they not return my money from deposit they want to charge me for something I never did. Period this is not the last you hear from me Norma Perez.

Maybe spray some febreeze in the cab. It smelled like a homeless person lived in it. The most ridiculous thing was renting a vehicle with less than a 1/4 tank of gas and when I went back in three office was told all the vehicles are like that. Unfortunately all above the above is just what I've come to expect and accept from renting a Uhaul.

I had my truck booked starting from 0930 a.m. but due to the delay at 0940 I was still working on my check-in with the assistant. When I finally got the keys, the truck was not ready for me to drive away as it was blocked by other U Haul truck. Consequently, I had to go back to the office and ask for the truck to be moved away. Just after I had finally departed, the low tire pressure warning poped-up. Also, I'd like to emphasise that I remember the times when the U Haul trucks were well equiped inside e.g., with the lashing straps. Nowadays, they are completely empty and one needs to pay for extra equipment. It's something to consider for the best of the company. Other than that, it was great. Merci.

Went and filled the entire truck, drove to the storage unit to swipe my card and it says "temporarily locked out". This is at 8pm in the rain after moving all day. I called CS and was told there was nothing that can be done until they open in the morning. Had to extend the rental until the next day to be able to get inside the unit. Literally sucked nor was I ever offered a discount.

On Friday July 5th I went in to clear out my unit and talk to the clerk at the desk to tell her we had lost the keys to the lock and wanted to know how we can get into the unit. She pointed to her pencil cup and said to call this number. My vision is not very good so i started to pick it up to see it more closely to read it when she grabbed it and said she would read it. She read the number and as i was entering it into my phone thinking it was the storage manager I had tried to contact, she informed me that it was a locksmith. She further informed me that it was the least expensive locksmith in the area. I was a bit miffed that she would not explain that i needed a locksmith, rather than giving me a phone number with no explanation. The next day Saturday the 6th, i had a locksmith i contacted, meet me at the unit who was 30 dollars less expensive who cut off the lock. We emptied the unit and I spoke with the storage manager who was just wonderful and helpful. When we closed out the unit the clerk was also friendly and helpful. It is terrible that you have one bad employee ruin the experience when everyone else is just terrific.

We had movers hired, and the employee in charge did not open the locks on the double doors for over an hour because he was busy with truck rentals. There were two other people trying to also move. One woman waited for over a hour. It was ridiculous. The doors were right outside the desk where he was checking people in, yet he would not take the thirty second to unlock the doors. Very frustrating and rude. Overall, the facility is nice and it's clean. But even when we went back after the units were cleared to have the contracts closed, it took a long time. Just a very inefficient front desk. Very very close and inefficient.

David b | Premières impressionsThe general manager held my unit hostage from my boyfriend stating that she wouldn't give him any information on the unit until he paid the month in full of almost $200. The due date was one day before. She then refused to give him any information as he was not listed as a "user" of the unit. So it was okay to extort him for $200 but not give him a map to the unit's location. I was very sick with 101 fever and had to appear to grant him access. The GM then said she would change my address for me as it was an out of state address when I first moved into the unit. She only changed the street number of my address. She didn't change the street name, city, state or zip code. This has been my experience with the staff ever since I began renting the unit 2 years ago. I would NEVER recommend this place. The staff claims to be protecting the facility but in fact, they're only interested in making money. If the manager had any conscience at all, she'd refund the whole month that she charged me for 24 hours of use. But I doubt she will as she has never been helpful or friendly.
