During my rental of a utility trailer, the front desk person called via 2-way radio for a person to connect my trailer. After 10 minutes, I was still waiting. There was an employee cleaning a van and the front desk employee was helping customers. Eventually I was asked to connect my own trailer. I did not want to take on the liability of connecting my own trailer but I had waited so long that I had to leave, so I connected my own trailer.

I wandered around the lot looking for my rental. I finally was told to go inside from a lady smoking outside (I wasn't supposed to have to go inside). I had to ask about the dolly I had rented. The man who helped me had absolutely no interest in making sure I found the truck ok. He was more interested in tucking it up with the guys in the parking lot. The windshield of the truck was filthy. The mileage upon return was I correct but there was nobody there to discuss it with. Absolutely terrible service.

The truck's gas tank was empty. I was told to get gas and bring back my receipt and they would reimburse me. I gave the $30.02 receipt to the lady on January 22nd when the truck was returned and still haven't gotten the reimbursement. When I sent an email to them, they said the credit had been processed but it still does show up on my Visa card. I want to be reimbursed. Ca me at 909-263-8907

My original reservation was for 7am at the 831 E Holt Bl Ontario, CA 91761 location. No employees were at the location by 7:45 and the manager would not anwser or return calls to his emergency cell phone number listed on the building. When I called customer service they were able to make a reservation for the Garey location, this was out of my way but I had a strick appointment time at a location over 150miles away that required me to have the trailer so I accepted. Over all this was a very poor rental experience but the Garey location was good and helped me out.

Re: trailer rental. Rep wasn't careful and didn't attach trailer hitch to ball correctly. Would have fallen off down the road if I didn't notice it. Also, left tire strap has big rip and needs to be replaced.

None of the employees inside Uhaul or outside returning trucks wore masks. Why? Even the staff member behind the plexi would come into the waiting area without a mask. Not very friendly staff and most employees looked miserable.

Keep up the great communication and great Customer Service. Be sure to have staff explain final billing statement upon check out. Reported: Truck lock was bored out, didn't work and brakes needed adjustment. Otherwise truck worked just fine. Thank you.

I was supposed to get $50 credit due to the Uhaul guarantee. I was sent to this store from another store. On top of that, I was charged $20 for after hours check in, which is a total nonsense charge. I didn't have my phone and so I could not use the online app AND most importantly I wouldn't have had to do an after hours checkin IF my initial reservation was kept on time!!!! Uhaul owes me 70 dollars!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Service at the counter was nice, but there was little explanation about where to find my truck besides “it's on the left” to which there was several trucks my size on the left, so I had to ask another worker who was outside to help me find mine, and that worker was busy loading something to another truck, so they weren't very pleasant to speak with, as they were rushing as well. My truck was wedged between two other trucks, of which I had to carefully pull out of a very tight space. I had made my reservation requesting 2 appliance dolleys. The worker at the counter told me they only had one, and replaced the other with a regular dolley which I agreed to. I was never told to grab one on my way out, I had assumed they were ready inside the truck. When I arrived to my moving location 50 miles away, I opened the back to realize there were no dolleys inside the truck at all. When it came time to locking the back of the truck, we realized the padlock would not close and we had to use a zip tie to keep it secure. The truck's suspension felt very very old, the front is a solid axle, and it is very very uncomfortable at highway speeds. I understand this part is probably me being picky, but I would not recommend anyone who doesn't have prior experience with this type of suspension to drive this truck. Overall, I have had better experiences with uhaul, but this last one made me feel unsure of the way the employees really don't try to go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need. It was Christmas Eve, so I understand that they probably didn't want to work, but at the end of the day I'm still a paying customer and really wished this process had gone better. If you are a potential customer, please make sure you ask the worker about all your equipment, where you should find it, and if there is anything you need to do before leaving. Handing over the keys and saying the truck is on the left shouldn't be the answer.

Chose above average because when I called the number for the facility, I would get a call center and they were never able to transfer me to the actual store. They would always say they’ll send a message to call me back. They would never call me back. Only time they did was when I’d pay my rent late since no one could help with changing my due date or extend the due date to avoid the late fees. So I paid the $27 late fee every month for almost a year. Other than that, I love this facility and the staff! Call center needs some customer service training and more access to assist with accounts tho...

The mgr (David) and his staff are most helpful, especially in the context of college students needing support during all the unexpected move-out and move-in variations withto covid. They are very customer focused, which is hard to find these days. The only request would be to have the local number posted and more available. The 800 number helps with most basic scheduling, but when I as a customer need something more specific and need to talk with the local office, it was impossible to find a phone number that I could call directly. I do appreciate how the mgr responded to my requests, but it would be perfect if local office numbers were more accessible.

From the moment we got the Storage Unit it should have been 1 month free. Instead it was charged and we got emails, phone, and text alerts saying we owed a bill. We went to storage unit but not even a week after just getting the storage unit we had not slip and lock on our storage unit! Unacceptable.. We go into office to the very people who just gave us the unit and they remember us and so they didn't have answers as to why it happened and how it was someone else fault and no ownership taken. Very bad experience with this process!

I love their indoor facility with climate control, main reason why I choose them over other storage facilities. They also give you the first months rent free and if you ever need to upsize Or down size they have a great selection to do so.

There was one employee that I had to deal with several times (Angel). He was unwilling to help with even the most basic tasks. He wouldn't even help me find my unit. Otherwise my experience was great!
