I wasn't able to rent from this location due to trailer light issue, and had to go to Glendora uhaul for a 10' truck. Nice guy there, the truck however... well we found out in the middle of the Mohave that only one headlights worked, which was mild stress compared to the tire pressure system warning that went off moments later. So along with how loud it is inside this truck and it's faulty systems we did get my bike to the racetrack on time but just a bit more frazzled than I would have liked.

I have been a loyal customer to this specific location since the mid 90's. Equipment is always ready and available to rent. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Find the equipment online, reserve it and your out in 10 minutes the day you pick it up.

Absolute worst experience I've had with U-Haul. I reserved my 15-footer truck a week in advance for 9am. I got an email notification two days before letting me know that they had moved my original pickup Holt location to the Town location in Pomona (Ghetto City). When I got there the day of ..my truck wasn't there and they ended sending me over to the Gary U-Haul location where they said one was available. I get to the Gary U-Haul location and ask for my truck and they don't have one there either.. even after confirming to the Town U-Hale location that they did! I was furious and told the U-Haul counter Rep that this was ridiculous and they've already wasted 45 minutes of my time just tracking down a truck I reserved a week in advance. The rep ended up giving me a 20 footer which was way to large for moving a washer, dryer and refrigerator. When I get into the truck I performed the maintenance check as instructed. The counter Rep said It had a quarter tank of gas left, NOPE!.. The gas tank was empty.. after gasing up I'm already 1,5 hours behind schedule and the temperature for the day was expected to be 102 degrees and it was already 90 degrees out, hence why I started early. If that's not bad enough, when I returned the truck.. I waited 45 minutes onsite just to check back in the vehicle. Apparently the two other U-Haul reps that were supposed to be helping outside found there own personal conversation more important then helping out their customers waiting outside in 102 degree heat. I went inside to complain to the counter Rep and when I get back outside and sit in my truck for another 15 minutes.. one of the U-Haul reps that was having that personal conversation and who I complained about comes outside and desides to help another customer waiting who arrived 15 minutes after me.. WTF!.. the counter Rep ended helping me check out.. good guy by the way. All around The absolute worst experience I've ever had with any company, at all cost I will try to avoid using U-Haul if possible in the future and I suggest you do the same. Get your crap together U-Haul..!!

Poor service, after being told my car trailer was reserved, they rented out to someone else. And they could care less. I had to search for my own truck in parking lot with no help..called about this and found another uhaul location that had a hitch that was run by 90yr old woman that was no help, so canceled my trailer order and she had difficulty doing that. Will never use again..uhaul store was in Pomona..

During transit it was clear someone tried to break into my box. The very expensive high quality lock was cut and bent so badly that we couldn't get in my box. Luckily the thief was unable to get access but it looked like they had also tried to use a crowbar to pry the wood around the door. On top of that, first the U-Haul center sent over an empty box which was not even properly secured on the trailer. The metal pins keeping the metal gate up on the back of the U-box we're missing. The movers were so shocked and glad it didn't fall of in transit. The movers had to go back and get my full box which we couldn't even open due to the lock being so badly damaged. We had to call the U-Haul center and get someone to come with bolt cutters. He then disregarded our concerns about someone trying to break into my box claiming it just got bumped. No way. The lock was cut. It was a super strong lock. He was incredibly rude. The movers luckily were amazing and helpful.

While the person who assisted me was excellent, his co-worker was rude and unprofessional. He had some issue with his boss or something going on at work and walked about the corner of the customer service area and yelled at the top of his lungs “Fuck” and then walked back to the cash register. Apparently it was a stress relief, but not the appropriate place to do so.

I called U-Haul to reserve a truck and an appliance dolly. The following day they had my reserved truck ready to go but no reserved dolly. I had to drive to a different rental company to rent a dolly for my use. You can have a 1 000 great U-Haul trucks available but what good are they if you only have 100 dollies?

Juan helped me and it couldn't have been a better experience. First, he rearranged my reservation to allow me to drop off at his location with no penalty, despite his location being over 30 minutes and in a different city from the location I originally chose. I arrived on Sunday night and the closing time was actually 3,5 hours earlier than it said online. That meant I had 3 hours to move everything. Juan explained my options and gave me an extra 90 minutes to move all my things. He also helped me get the car off the tow dolly. Juan stayed almost an hour after closing for me, and it meant a lot. I'll be using his location for all my Uhaul storage.

They were very cool and friendly but it seems like not enough people answering phones at the office in Georgia. In California I didn't get put on hold for an hour or feel worried about where my box was being delivered. Hire more people to work with calls please.

I have to say that this was the third U-Haul location I went to I originally made my reservation for 15footer Global oil when I arrived my vehicle was not returned The night before because of engine issues were bothering me the most that I was not even notified of this issue and I drove close to 30 miles to those location just for the 15 footer and then took me and the representative at that dealer another two hours to locate a 10 footer. It was very frustrating especially a day that I anticipated to spend on moving and I spent more than four hours trying to locate a U-Haul truck. The department should invest on more individuals being available on the weekends especially on the first and the end of the month when it's the busiest I had to wait close to 35-45!minutes on three different occasions to get a hold of a representative on the phone.

The u-haul truck I rented had a did had a terrible odor inside the cab like a mouse or something had crawled underneath the seats on the dash board - and died. Other than that issue issue my overall experience was satisfactory I was happy with the service from the agent the yard and at the counter

I was not able to mobile check-in. Fortunately, an employee was there to check us in before opening. However, the truck size we rented was not available. One of the trucks was missing a gas cap, the other two were out of gas.

Customer service was poor. The clerk checking me in seemed bothered I interrupted what he was watching on his phone. Although he radioed for someone to help hook the trailer to my car, I stood outside being ignored by the staff member who ultimately helped me after I asked what I needed to do to get the trailer I reserved. Upon my visual inspection, the inside smelled of rotten fish and had liquid stains still on the floor of the trailer. I noticed another staff member with a bucket and mop, I asked if I could borrow the mop to clean the mess, he told me sure but I would need to hurry. It should have been cleaned and inspected before I came. Upon returning the trailer, I took extra time to ensure the trailer was cleaner than when I picked it up. I am sorry but this one experience will be my last.

This is the best U-Haul Center. The facility is better than Poway or Miramar because of space. They had signs indicating were to return equipment and to wait inside vehicle, it only took like five minutes to get checked the person that checked me in was friendly. Overall this was a good experience and a good value.

Customer service was good. I do wish the hours for access matched the website, which are listed as 5 AM - 10 PM. I even called to confirm and was told that the main store closes at 7 PM, but access card or pin # I would be able to go into the storage section until 10 PM. I went today at 6:30 PM and they warned they would be closing at 7 PM. Other than this, I've had a great experience going to this location. Staff is helpful. No complaints.

This is a good location, centrally located in Pomona. David and the other staff are helpful and courteous. The only downside is all the homeless hanging around the facility. I had to constantly keep my head on a swivel to keep aware of my surroundings. I would definitely use U Haul and this location again.

All the staff were wonderful and so polite. David the manager was unbelievable. I serve in the military and I'm always being sent out of the country for training or on temporary assignments and can't always make my payments on time. David would waive my late fees and even gave me his personal cell number so I can make my payments directly with him. I was just recently deployed to Ukraine and he made sure my unit was closed out and sent me a message letting me know it was done. My overall experience with him and all the staff was impeccable and well worth every dime I spent.

Firstly staff must learn to write clients names correctly! My first name is Jonathan but not Jonathon as is displayed here! I am disabled senile customer in a wheelchair Secondly, The Behavior of a staff member at the N Garey location named Karl was insolent n displayed gross insurbodination n should be removed from performing such essential customer services like that for U-Haul Customers! N should be terminated immediately To me his behavior poses a great liability to the company! Thirdly, I rented the U-Haul truck one way from Bakersfield California to Montclair San Bernardino County n to be dropped off at the North Garey location in Pomona n qualify for a month's free storage facility at the same location After a lot of unnecessary wrangling with Karl the truck was dropped off I arrived home n noticed that my American Express Card was charged $65 I called U/Haul to find out what the charges of $65 was for? Initially I was told it was for gas! Attempt was made the day before with the tank fully filled n Karl rejected the drop off! What is the charge of $65 for? For questions number 1 and 5 I answered both no. It was really half yes and no for both questions. Answer 1 the facility felt secure however by storage row never turned on. Luckily there was natural light from the window. Answer 5 although, facility was clean the storage area, restroom, lobby and indoor painting the lighting in my storage area wasn't working.

I reserved 2 10x10 units over the phone, and when I arrived they had only reserved one of them. I was forced to use a different storage company to store the rest of my inventory.

Some of the staff were good to work with, others less so. They didn't have the unit I'd reserved ready when i arrived, so gave me another unit. All the units were dark and small, and the hours aren't convenient. While some of the staff is friendly, the one who rented me a van had a sticker that said "owner" on his nametag and was the least helpful and competent of the staff.

1st month free is not true, even though the representative specifically stated i qualified for it, accesse hours state until 10 pm but that is also false Information. Facility closes at 7 pm, drive up access is also false information.

I cleared my storage on the 3rd of August. Spoke to an employee and informed him we moved out of our space. He said take pictures and they'll take care of the rest. They didn't close out my space and I was sent a upcoming payment notice. It took 45 minutes on the phone to resolve their mostake.

My unit had ants, i was once locked inside the facility for over an hour because they locked up early and no one bothered to check if anyone was still there not to mention that there is no way to reach the actual facility by phone when you call the listed number it gives you the 800 number and you can be on hold indefinitely, and the parking lot is always covered in broken glass and litter. It is poorly managed but the staff was always friendly just not very helpful. I had an outdoor unit and 2 uboxes there. I requested access to my 2 uboxes and was told to deal directly with the GM, i gave 2 days notice and the boxes weren't put out until 1 pm and i wasted money and time renting a trailer and when i came to get a couple essentials with my car they had put the units away even though i let the GM know i would be back before close to access them. This location is a mess.

I had to throw away some items that got mildew on them from the unit's floor. The lights didn't stay on continuously.; only when someone walked up and down the aisle. The location was a poorly planned facility. I'm relieved to be rout of that facility.

I had to throw some items away; due to problems with the floors in my unit. I was disappointed that the Pomona CA facility didn't stay open until 10 pm. I couldn't get helpers to move items out due to the time they closed the building. There were no ramps for the units upstairs.

Chose above average because when I called the number for the facility, I would get a call center and they were never able to transfer me to the actual store. They would always say they'll send a message to call me back. They would never call me back. Only time they did was when I'd pay my rent late since no one could help with changing my due date or extend the due date to avoid the late fees. So I paid the $27 late fee every month for almost a year. Other than that, I love this facility and the staff! Call center needs some customer service training and more access to assist with accounts tho...

The mgr (David) and his staff are most helpful, especially in the context of college students needing support during all the unexpected move-out and move-in variations withto covid. They are very customer focused, which is hard to find these days. The only request would be to have the local number posted and more available. The 800 number helps with most basic scheduling, but when I as a customer need something more specific and need to talk with the local office, it was impossible to find a phone number that I could call directly. I do appreciate how the mgr responded to my requests, but it would be perfect if local office numbers were more accessible.
