Eddie at the front desk was amazing from the time we walked in until the time we pulled off. Their customer service was above and beyond. They made sure that I had answers to all of my questions and even answers to questions I didn't know I needed answers!

Pin or the slot it went into on the left side of the trailer was bent. I had a very hard time trying to take it out. Putting it back in was almost impossible. I had someone forcing the ramp to the left to give me just enough room to reinstall the pin.

They over booked and gave me a truck I did not reserve. They said the truck had half a tank of gas when in reality it only had a quarter of a tank.

I was a tenant in this particular location for a little bit over three years. Overall, my experience was good no issues of any kind. I had to move to a bigger storage space because he was difficult to get access to my belongings, but this particular location has very easy access to the units.

I rented a car here today and only spent four hours, drove 38 miles, and only moved a mattress. When I returned the car, I added 18 yuan of gas, which was past the line when I picked it up. I just received the receipt. This store charged me 27 yuan for gas and 125 yuan for vehicle damage. I ended up paying 241,47 yuan. Please take photos of the inside and outside of the car before renting it in the future, so that you can protect yourself. I will never rent from this store again.

The truck was dirty. There was barely any gas only enough for 35 miles for a 50 mile trip. So I had to put gas trice. I asked for a 10" truck they gave me a 15 saying ohh it's okay I charged you for the 10 then I get a bill a few days later saying I owe more money because the 15" truck. I asked why does none of the trucks have gas. They said because they get siphoned there. That's not the customers problem. Maintain the trucks. I'll never recommend or go to the Garvy location in El Monte again.

The equipment needs to be checked after each use. The tie down strap was shortened. If I didn't have back up tie down straps of my own probably would have had to take the vehicle off of trailer and taken it back to exchange. The electrical indicated false problems on dash board checked everything and it was good, just kept indicating false problems, possible bare wires. Please have these trailers checked. When I took trailer back and tried to let them know about the problems, they didn't seem like they were even listening to what I had to say.

The clerk at the counter was great. He didn't let the growing line of customers or interruptions bother him; he stayed on task, helped one person at a time and pushed through. The equipment was clean and well maintained. Drop off was easy, a staffer was outside ready to assist. I was cleared and had a receipt in less than five minutes. I will use this location in the future and recommend.

I left with 1/8 of a tank. I was told that if I filled it up to one quarter that I would get a discount. I filled it up to one quarter which cost me $15 and I was given a $10 discount. So basically, they charge me to do them a favor. Yes, I already filed a complaint. It's not about the $5, it's the principal. The gentleman behind the desk should not open his mouth to tell me something unless he's absolutely sure of how it works. So, unless they correct this, I will not be recommending anybody and it's a shame, because up till until I returned the vehicle, everything went smoothly. The gentleman who "helped me" needs more training.

I reserved a specific piece of equipment THEY DID NOT HAVE. (a trailer with a ramp) YOU NEED TO INFORM THE CUSTOMER BEFORE THEY SHOW UP if you change it

Both times I went there spoke to the manager he was excellent with me second time I went there spoke to an employee and he was excellent too great service great attitude no complaints I believe they both went above and beyond their job thank you all U-Haul great experience not happy about the insurance Price but it'll do.

They double charge me and the staff could not do nothing. they told me that the next morning the Manager Justin would call me back and I waited until 12pm for a call and no one called me so I went ahead and called him and he had no idea what I was talking about. He was Adamant about them not over charging me and that on his end it showed one charge. I had to leave where I was at to show him my bank statement showing that I was double charge.
