owner was excellent one employee overlooked me did not ask who was next even though owner was being very attentive to customer on phone trying to help customer on phone in more ways than he needed to he saw my situation very observant that's why I was patient he really tries to help customers willing to work for the customer appreciate that they are a little slow but the was able to handle his call and me out the door big props to the owner

I originally made my reservation at the lodi, Ca location and then was notified it was changed to Anderson Towing off Wilson Way the day before my reservation. I called to verify with Anderson’s towing and they confirmed, however after 30 minutes past my pick up time I was informed they didn’t have a 15 ft truck available (that I had reserved). Then I was re-routed to Tam’O’Shanter who did not have my size truck, but were able to provide a 10’ft truck. However this would be an hour now past my pick up time and the size of the truck was insufficient for what I needed to move. Horrible experience.

I reallly hope service people continue doing what they doing cause truthfully customer service is a dying trait that most don't practice.

Cancellation policy time and or policy needs to be approved upon through proper communication. I wasn't informed of when and how reservation can be canceled and I was canceled without any notice. That was bad business practice exhibited by your company to a first time customer.

Next time please make sure the cabin (driver/passenger area) does not smell like weed. Very strong odor. Spray or something. That's it.

I wish there had been more gas in the truck. The horrible people who rented it before us siphoned all the gas out, so we only had the 5 gallons they put in it. It was a bit nerve-wracking. I was offered a credit of $33.50 if I filled it to 1/4, but I was told this would take 18 gallons, plus what I planed to use- which would cost more than the credit. Also, the text system wasn’t working, so I was unable to view the pictures or accept things on my phone. Luckily, the manager (Chris) has everything sent to his phone, so he was able to handle the process for me. I will be back at this location (hopfully next year) when we move to our forever home. ??

Had a problem with the trailer's left brake/turn light not working. Staff suspected a blow fuse in my truck. Crawled under my dash and found that the fuse was blown. Went to his shop, got a replacement and stuck it in. Checked again and it work. No charge for the fix. The whole process and staff interaction was great from website reservation, inspection, pickup and return.

It’s convenient location wise however the staff wasn’t super friendly. The guy was kind and reminded me about my gas but was kinda 1/2 assed with being personable. It would just be a little nicer if everyone was a little more friendly.

Made reservation at Kelly st. U-Haul 2 weeks in advance.My truck at Kelly street location was not there the day of my moving. Previous user did not return as contracted, did not answer U-Haul phone calls. Took 4 hours to find another truck at tam o shanter location at 1 pm. Had to shuttle stuff in my jeep back and forth from 9 am til 1 pm. End result: exhaustion. Use U-Haul in future? NEVER

Say something to the customer at the rental desk that indicates the transaction is completed and the customer is dismissed before answering the phone and doing business with them. That was really awkward. Check in was fantastic. Young lady at the lane was most kind.

Picking up the 12 ft trailer went very smoothly and the customer service was great. However, when I returned the trailer I was met by an employee in the equipment return lane. He checked the trailer in on his mobile device and then told me to drive the trailer over to the back where the trailers are stored. And then he told me to unhook it myself. I was so mad. I wish I would have said something at the time. That is not customer service! I am sure that is not a UHaul policy. And if it is then maybe the next time I rent equipment from UHaul and I am required to perform your employees job for them them then maybe I will have a back injury performing work on your equipment on your property directed by your employee without any formal training on that equipment. We’ll see how that goes. I am saying this in the hopes that this behavior is not UHaul policy and this behavior will be corrected immediately. You can see how this behavior puts UHaul in legal jeopardy. JR

Actually clean and wipe down the trucks inside. It took me 4 Clorox wipes to clean just the steering wheel alone and they were filthy. And 19.95 a day my ass. We paid almost 100.00

Tried to use the internet to find a location. This one was buried some place. I had t use the phone number. You need to update your web page to show ALL of the locations on the first page. The ones that showed were out of the way and would have cost more in miles just to pick up and return the vehicle.

The manager checked me in, I was chastised because the blankets rented were not folded. I I then folded all blankets, after he checked mileage he said it wasn’t to exact level as when I checked it out. Stated I would be charged $60 I opted to go put more gas in, put another $30 I check gage and to me it appeared to be correct. I returned to the store, he then said it was still a fraction low and it would be $12.50 more, I replied are you kidding me I just spent thousands on this rental, he did not care, so I was charged $13.67 ..this manager was so rude. I can’t help but think that it was because my friend who is African American was there with me. I need to return to OK to rent another truck (already reserved) but after this experience I will look for another company . I have used uhaul many times in these last few year certainly didn’t expect to be treated this way.

I reserved a truck 3 weeks in advance and was there when they opened, I got a truck with no fuel . And when I returned the truck later that day I had to wait 15 -20 min to return truck ( only 1 person on duty at that time on a Saturday . Bad service .
