Nice and efficient workers in the office and the lot attendant.

The truck cab smelled so bad that we couldn't drive it without having the windows open. I was told the insurance would be 20 $but I was charged 20 $PER DAY. Overall, a bad experience.

The website is hard to navigate through, so I found it easier to go to the physical location of the facility and talk to the office employees. Of course, that works only if you are lucky enough to arrive at a time when there is not a line for waiting your turn. Doesn't seem to be enough staff at busy times. However, they do remain calm and thorough even in the face of sometimes very incensed customers.

The first time I called and scheduled a truck, it was confirmed and received an email with the details, but soon after got a call from the location telling me there was a glitch and that there would be no truck available and they were cancelling the order. There was no offer for help to at least reschedule or to find me another location. I had to call back again and reschedule at another location. The staff at this Stockton location seemed good and helpful, however, I was provided a truck displaying less than empty of fuel. The fuel had been stolen the night prior. I was provided a discount due to this which helped. The truck's ride was extremely harsh to the point that I thought it would fail! Windows were not clean and the windshield wipers were not functional so wiping the front windshield was difficult. The return was quick and efficient.

Make sure that the trucks are clean inside and out. There was food stuck inside the cupholders, dirty napkins and packets of Catsup on the floorboard, Windows were extremely dirty , lots of bug and bird poop on the truck!! I dont understand how I am charged for annEnviromental and Safety fee when the truck is kept this DIRTY??!!

I first was recommended to a smoke shop where it was completely unprofessional and scary. Also please help the people at the Tamoshanter location they talk too fast and don't really pay attention to you that your understanding everything and they are trying to rush you out

They are unorganized, they had nails in their tire and when you return your U-haul Vehicle on time, they charge you extra money because their system is down which is an excuse. I am very disappointed and will never refer anyone to come here!!!! Now I have to wait until my money return back on my card because of this inconsiderate and inconvenience company.

I find it ridiculous that your stores dos not have enough money on hand to give back a simple 200 deposit. Having to wait for this money to come in the mail is so unnecessary.

Todo estuvo muy bien excepto que saqué mis cosas el 19 de febrero y olvidé reportarlo a la oficina y me hicieron el cobro normal por la renta del espacio una vez más y se me reporte y aún estoy esperando respuesta para ver si me reembolsaran el dinero que se cobró de mi cuenta de banco sé que fue culpa mía por no haber avisado anteriormente lo siento mucho y espero poder resolver este problema muchas gracias

They gave me the wrong truck. And I approved everything not realizing that they gave me the wrong truck until I brought it back. They were trying to charge me more money for a different truck and it was incorrect not a good time they had to figure out what I owed and what was going on why I was given the wrong truck.

Miscommunication between sales and the location about a free month using a storage space caused some difficulty and confusion that was completely unnecessary. I did not appreciate being put in the middle of a dispute between a local manager and uhaul corporate.

I was given equipment that was not suitable to full a vehicle up and down many 6 % grades. The breaks could not withstand the weight of my load. Id expect uhaul to know what is safe instead i faced failing breaks and shot out roaders for most of my 600+ mile trip the breaks werent stopping me on down hill grades and the truck was shaking very bad. I was accompanied by my 14 year old daughter. We were terrified. I was offered no discount no apologies. Worst experience ever.

Due to COVID, I was hoping the staff would sanitize the cab of the truck for me. The inside of the truck felt dirty, and the previous client left a used mask on the dash. Lucky, I brought cleaning wipes with me and sanitized the cab.

My equipment was clean but not safe. I had to call uhaul for road side assistance for which My breaks werent stopping me going down miles of 6 % grades and sharp curves and were violently shaking the whole truck. I have never been more terrified in my life. The mechanic sent to help said the truck was to small to be used with a trailer pulling my suv and that uhaul should have known that considering i was set up for a one way from California to oregon. I was offered help but id have to sit in a parking lot for a day and a half. I was not offered any further help no refund or even a discount. I have always used uhaul but after this I don't think i can. I am so disappointed in uhaul. 1 400 $to be scared to death when i should have felt safe... Not to mention My 14 year old daughter was with me... Had she not been im sure i would have let myself panic and possibly crashed... Praying dor 3 hours straight was all i had to hang on.

Customer service was amazing from reserving a last minute trailer with Chris all the way to the checking in and out my rental. Everyone was truly helpful getting me going. The deserve a secure area for being in the location they are. Very unfortunate when you have to deal with people on the streets causing problems and fires.

Not only was the Truck rental from Michigan to California convenient and Truck in great shape but making the drop off & ability to have a storage rental available in the same location made it such a carefree, less stress experience. Thanks again for Uhaul and its employees.

I was not comfortable having to pound on the door to get access to the inside storage unit. Sometimes it took a while before anyone opened. Very inconvenient.

I don’t agree with I had to pay for a whole month even though my items were only in their 6 Days I should’ve been refunded for the day is not used because it was immediately rent it to someone else
