I had time opening the door of the storage unit. The store keeper was helpful each time. Very nice. I have seen beer bottles left outside of the door of my unit by unknown people. This is an indication of intrusion of U-haul facility and potential risk for clients property !

Incredibly slow service. Scheduled pickup for 4:30, and I got out around 5:10. The worker was running other errands (like taking out the trash) before giving me my equipment

VIRGINIA Tthey didn’t have the truck i reserved. it took almost an hour to get me a truck. the truck i was given wouldn’t start unless you pumped the brake and shook the steering wheel, you couldn’t see out of the right side mirror, and the alignment was so bad the steering wheel was pointing at at 10oclock when going straight.

ANIL HFirst of all, this is the absolute worst location to have a storage facility, let alone a personal unit. My unit was broken into and vandalized after just one month of storage. I had several thousand dollars worth of stuff stolen. Broken vintage lamps and family memorabilia all damaged/stolen. The staff was not great at all. Since then they have changed managers, and I'm still not satisfied so I moved my stuff to a different location. On move out day, the manager told me everything was good to go and that we didn't need to do anything else. However I was still charged the full amount on 5/31/24, even after cleaning out my unit. I stopped by the office yesterday and the manager assured me that I would get a refund in 3-5 business days. The refund has yet to show up on my account. I absolutely hated storing my stuff here and it's something I regret every single day. I would not recommend this Uhaul location to ANYONE. Poor customer service, poor support , and poor care. Hate it!

My fiancé went back the next day to retrieve it and put it in the storage being an authorized user. MY THINGS WERE IN THE DUMPSTER!!! And she did not give him access for about 30 mins to an hour!

Robert SNo never. I am a 56 years old man and I can say with all honesty that I have never come across anyone as rude as manager Kayla who was there this morning. Everyone wants to start their day with something good, but she completely ruined my morning. Despite her inexcusably rude behavior I remained polite in the hope that perhaps she may change her attitude, but despite my attempt her behavior remained reprehensible. When I entered the building, she was seated and playing a game on her cell phone. I very nicely said, good morning ma'am she did not replied back, but just looked at me so I told her that I wanted to rent a pick up truck. She asked me for my ID which I gave it to her. After finding me in the system she asked how many miles I will be driving, for how many hours etc. She wanted to take my picture so I asked her this is something new because I have never had this experience before. Instead of explaining it to me she said that's how we do it and gave me back my ID and said we cannot rent to me. I had to get back to my business so I politely told her ma'am I just told you that I never had this experience before but if that's what it is, it is what it is. I gave her my ID back and said you can take my picture. When she grabbed my ID she started looking at all over it as if she's trying to find something wrong and then told me that my ID is damaged even though there was no damage on the ID and people can verify this by looking at The copy of my ID that she made. I do not understand why she was trying to give me a hard time so I asked for the manager very politely. People can watch the video to see how I was cordial when I told her that I don't see any damage on my ID. She starts showing me a pencil nib sized cut. I told her ma'am I'm a business owner I own hotels and we check IDs all the time this is nothing my ID is good. She said she will take it, but was just trying to bring it to my attention. After I made the payment she told me to go outside and take out the key and I'll send you a link and follow that link. Everything was new to me and I needed a little help but instead of explaining anything to me she wouldn't budge to assist me in anyway. She was an extremely horrible person, or perhaps hateful would be the more operative word because when I returning the vehicle, I noticed her behavior was the same with another customer. I just wanted to let you guys know that losing me as a customer may not affect you too much, but if you have employees like that, you will continue to lose more and more customers and then it will definitely affect your business. I will share my experience on different platforms because I have never felt more disrespected than the way she was treating me today.

This is the second time I was taken advantage of and won't be fooled again. You need to watch out at UHaul when renting. Kayla was very nice

Clifton GI had previously gone to this location a week or so back to book a truck for a couple of hours. Kayla refused to give me any of the trucks even though there were no appointments for that same day! After back and forth arguments, she refused to give me any of the trucks and I left For this booking I had an online booking done and she cancelled my reservation without asking me and made a reservation for me in Carrolton again based on our previous interaction. I asked to speak to the supervisor and initially she refused to call him as well. I called customer service to connect me to this location's supervisor. When the supervisor (Gayle) answered, he refused to hear my side of the story and sided with this lady and told me to leave the location or else he would call the police for trespassing. Important to mention that I had an online reservation! And he placed me on the cautionary list! As i was leaving again, I received a call from this location to come back inside and take the truck which i had booked. Kayla had no remorse for her behavior and to top it off left the keys outside for me to pickup. I have never seen bad customer service supported by a business like this ever. I work with U haul very often but safe to say i will not be going to this location. Everyone should go to the one on Northwest Hwy. The people over there are friendly and my man Andre always makes sure I get the best service everytime If my behavior needs any verification you can ask the people at Northwest Hwy with whom i work multiple times a month. Andre and team will definitely tell you a different story than Kayla would.

It's a small facility and easy to navigate without a lot of in and out traffic from other customers. My only issue is with the rate increases during my time there from the promotional price to my final move out rate, I thought the increases were excessive. Although it was still cheaper than other storage facilities for the size I was renting.

I wasn't able to reverse my U-Haul trailer attached car and spent 3 hours to exit the storage area. The storage unit was not reachable by car as I was told. Additionally, two dogs attacked me when I was trying to find the storage unit. I believe people live in those storage units with their dogs, but no one mentioned that to me. It was a horrible experience.

ISAAC TAC was not working which we were not told about and the truck sounded weird every time it started so we were worried it would die and kept jumper cable with in case.
Sara JI dropped off the vehicle on Saturday evening, scanned the bar code and everything and for some reason, the truck was never checked in until Wednesday. I was very concerned that I would be on the hook for a truck. However it turned out that someone moved the truck from where I parked it and forgot to close out the vehicle and check it in. WHEW!!! I finally called the location and the gentleman I talked to immediately handled everything for me. Thank you to him!

I would not recommend this location to anyone. There is another location on the same street that I'm sure will provide a better experience.

The excuse for the light not working was that there was a fire that burned the building and u-haul was too cheap to fix it. The overhead was hard to open and close and would stick sometimes. To me it looked like a inside job because when I asked for the cameras to be played back somehow they can't tell who's coming out with my belongings. Somehow my storage unit was the only one singled out. As i go to file the claim for my storage unit, they put the wrong insurance, making me liable for my belongings when I know I put insurance on unit mainly because the first month came with the one way uhaul rental. I've lost a lot of valuables that I can't get back, mostly my business equipment is gone , I'm not too concerned about the tvs but I want the things people donated to me to get my business back going. I can't operate properly without all my equipment. They did compensate me for my storage unit for the month but that doesn't replace my things that they're not wanting to liable for especially when every other time the main door to my unit was always unlocked. I spend a lot of money with uhaul and for them to be at fault and making me figure it out myself is unacceptable.

Some other people also were waiting as the sign shows closed. 2. When communicated over the store number, the cashier opened the door. Actually he was inside the store and was hanging the sign that store is closed though it's business hour. 3. When went inside the store, it smells so bad with the smell of cigar, tobacco and some other strange smells. It was horrible. As a non smoker, I felt vomiting. 4. The rental trailer was very dirty.

Seo JAgent at pick up location didn't seem to happy to be there. Vehicle was not clean. Check engine light was on. Vehicle drove terrible and if you got over 50 mph , it felt like you had very little control. Got charged for fuel when I returned the vehicle with the same as I picked it up.

It took two trips to the other facility for them to get the access code correct, and when I entered the facility the heat was unbearable. Both phone conversations with the facility manager seemed a bit tense and she seemed bothered with my call. As I was leaving the facility another customer who rented the day before could not get into the facility with his gate card or code. I decided at that point to go to Public Storage and rented one of their climate controlled units for the same price!

All Meghan cared about was telling me all the wrong things I can do to have my "privileges" revoked! There was probably one smile I seen from her and I believe it's when she laughed at her own joke. The storage facility is out dated and U-haul Co itself should be ashamed of it. It's like you are storing your items in a barn! The doors are just like a house door and so trying to get big items into the unit is nearly impossible. When I asked for a larger unit, before I could even get those words out of my mouth she snapped at me and said NO! And I don't know it was the look I gave her or what, then she quickly tried to see what other units where available at a facility down the road. I will NEVER rent from U-haul again! Lastly, less than 24 hours from moving in, her faculty is closed. I was not able to access the gate to get in due to the cards not reading, so the alternative is a access code. Which I was never given. I went to a U-haul location down the road for help. The lady there could not understand why I wasn't given a access code because they give their customers access codes. Customer service was called and a gentleman said he could see my access code however was not allowed to give it out over the phone. Meanwhile there was an older lady working and knew how to get a hold oh Meghan directly where Meghan informed her that she doesn't give her customers the access code that the only option is to use the card. And that I needed to go back down there and keep trying or wait until Monday when she is reopened. I am beyond upset and the way management has handled this situation is surely not the U-haul way!

We were told by the staff they have to close early since the 'area is very active and not a good place to be at night. The storage shed itself had holes in the wall and had run-down doors. The actual rope is like splinters. I had to pull it down with a towel. They have rodent deterrents in the sheds themselves which leads me to believe they have a problem. We also experienced an issue with nails all over the group. I picked up a full handful, and then the staff came out to help me. Luckily I only needed the shed for 1 week.
