I'd love to be able to talk to the store I rented my uhaul from because the wait time is crazy on the main line! And please update that the drop of location is not optional because I left it blank and then when I picked up the keys in person I told them I was going to lake aurther and then they still kept it as in town transit so I found out there was a location in lake authur I waited on the phone for 2 hours just to get hung up on multiple times. I think next time I'll hire a moving company.SADA L.

The truck I was driving seemed to desperately need either transmission flush or SOMETHING done to get the trans to shift better. It kept reving for several seconds BEFORE it would switch gears. Plus they said it was at a quarter of a tank before I left with it and it was less than a quarter of a tank yet they made me use MORE money than I should have to fill it TO a quarter tank when I dropped it off. When I left it said 38 miles to empty when I dropped it off it said 41 miles to empty so I most definitely put more gas into it than it had and yet I STILL had to spend more money than I should have had to, 12 dollars in total. Which probably doesn't seem like much to lost anyone else however I'm NOT anyone else... my money has a very specific and necessary use.Randall H.

This location does not answer the phone at all we tried many times and it rang so long in the loop call that we were directed to the local scheduling office. Our trailer was missing a pin and they told us â€œoh well. It had one pin so we would be fine.â€ We secured it with a strap to be sure it wouldn't fly open. The scheduling office changed our reservation many times before our rental and again the night before. We drove an hour west into Texas for our uhaul truck and an hour south two days later for our open trailer. My husband and I were a mess before we even picked up the equipment.TERRY W.

Total lack of customer service experience at front counter! Credit card reader not accessible! Service rep at return was fantastic! He assisted in backing trailer and un hitching! In addition, your app is almost totally useless and without ability to contact local store, had several issues calling and holding for over 20 minutes each time.PETER B.

we had a bad storm flooding etc while i still had van and they backed up my rental to return it on the 19th because they were advising not to be out on the streets. I do not feel i should be charged for the extra 2 days. I called to ask what to do and the lady said it not due back until the 19th because of weather.Sharla J.

They recorded incorrect mileage and fuel when I recieved the vehicle. I returned the vehicle with more fuel than when I recieved it. Overcharged me for the mileage and added a fuel charge. Good thing I always take a picture of the instrument panel when I rent vehicles. Maybe expecting UHaul to run an honest business is asking too much?JOSHUA V.

Reserved a storage got my stuff to the storage place and was told no units were Available so I had to drive around to find one which made more miles and a bigger expense! And no one helped me with this at all!TAMARA L.

The young men who worked at the location was incredible and extremely helpful. The truck was extremely dirty, dashboard sticky and smelled of smoke. You couldn't put a drink in the holder because it was so sticky.DOMINIQUE B.

The associate mixed up my drop off destination...and so I attempted to call and get it corrected. Lake charles never answered and kept getting rerouted to other locations. The first wasn't very knowledgeable at all and told me that I had to pay for destination swap even though I explained to her that it wasn't my fault. Her response was that is was on me...not in those words. So I attempted to call lake charles store on hwy 14. Still no answer! So I was transferred again to another knowledgeable associate who had it corrected for me. There is no reason that I should be on hold for hours and the location that I'm attempting to connect with does not answer! So....I will be trying my best not to use uhaul lake charles ever again! The seemed to be very unorganized in there! Very poor experienceROY B.

I have had the worst experience in my life. This time the truck wasn't clean. The air was low on both back tires. I could not check in online. I attempted to get a truck the previous weekend so I could get out of my storage unit before the payment date. Could not get truck. Now I'm trying to reach someone and I get an email just saying, â€œyou will be fineâ€. What does that mean? Then I try to move out. Can't do it online. Guy at uhaul says. Oh well they will see you moved out on Monday. Doesn't even try to check me out if the unit. HorribleCindy C.
Vehicle and equipment in fair condition. Rented vehicle previous day, however bad weather was forecast, so deferred moving until following day. Upon going to enter vehicle next day, truck had a completely flat tire. Tried to call uhaul's roadside assistance phone number twice (which was terrible with a long hold time) and finally submitted the claim online and got a prompt response. Waited probably 30-45 mins and they had someone come out and change tire. Upon further inspection, there were at least 3 plugs in the tire, one of which was in the side wall which should never be done. Reported the issue to the manager which stated the tire was sent to be repaired recently and agreed that the tire indeed need to be replaced, not just plugged and that he would definitely look into the situation further. Although it was inconvenient, it could have been much worse. U-Haul took care of the situation and I am appreciative of that.CHONDRIKA H.
