I used your app. (On line) Which is ridiculous. When I got to the location. I still waited 45 minutes in line to check out. The truck exterior was dirty. It took me a long time to go through and take all the extra needed pictures of damages to the truck. Was not pleased.

I wasn't properly informed in gassing the truck back up...In fact it cost me $20 more. Operator of the shop is a racist, having been informed by me as to 'helping' the illegals work safer removing stickers from a store front window, he stated, "If they cut themselves, they will learn from it." He's a full blown ASS WIPE!

I’m pretty upset that uhaul indicated that they had a truck available and then called to tell me i had to go across town to get it. Then they wouldn’t let me turn the truck in locally and made me bring it back to this location. Charged me for every mile too. Supposed to be about 20 miles total and uhaul got memfor about 100. Ridiculous I requested a truck in blue springs MO to Odessa MO. Made me get a truck the furthest north and west in the next town, then required me to bring it back to that location. I feel more like a hostage than a customer.

The man who helped us get checked in to the storage facility (De'Andre Parker) was kind, helpful, and good-natured even when obstacles arose. We'd definitely use this location again.

My pickup was scheduled for 10 am. I was using the smartphone option. The truck was still in line to be cleaned and was not placed where the app said it was located. The technician cleaned it immediately and pulled it out of line for me. Not a knock on the service. However, if someone schedules for a pickup time, the truck should be ready. The app didn’t have the correct info.

(AS FOR NOLAND RD LOCATION) Worst experience I've ever had in my life and I've been held hostage and beat half to death dealing with UHAUL was worse!!!!!! I tried to reserve a uhaul to move the contents of my dead Dad's house contents starting at approximately 6:10pm tonight the location on Noland Rd in Independence MO answered after God knows how long. I explained to the employee that I had reserved a truck and it confirmed 6:30pm and I was having trouble navigating the site to allow a pickup after hours because I was waiting for a ride and wouldn't be able to make it there until fifteen minutes after close. The employee then asked me to hold. I held for what seemed like an eternity then a different employee picked up and asked how they could help like they were new to the situation because apparently the other employee felt he wasn't obligated to return to the call he placed on hold. Then that employee was informed by me of what the trouble was and he also put me on hold. He too never returned, by the time I talked to the next person which also asked me to hold before even asking what I needed, that person too never returned and knew he would not as the the call was transferred to corporate I guess because that lady asked me what time it was where I was located. She was short made it clear quickly she could do nothing instead of trying to help me find a location with something available and had a shitty tone like I was burdening her by needing to rent a truck. So I went back to trying to figure out the app it said the nearest truck available half the size I needed was around 15 miles away which turned into 25 because I had to drive past the closed ramp get off get back on to reach the exit. Then still trying to figure out how it works I thought it just needed a card number but wasn't charging it that I could pay cash at return. Nope so had to go load the card back again and it was dark and just my dome light for the picture process. Then it said I took too long and cancelled the reservation. Started a new one it then gave me some shape test that I had no clue what I was supposed to verify with the shapes it was showing then it cancelled again and at that point three hours went by 40 Mile drive for nothing. Find a trainer who can help your employees understand that what happened tonight was appalling and unprofessional and fucked up to be exact. They was ready to go home so for almost 45 minutes they kept bouncing me back and forth and putting me on hold so they wouldn't have to help me or do extra work that might make them there half a minute longer. When I called they had an hour left they don't need a job if that's what they do because they can't resolve a problem in shorter than an hour. Never have I ever dealt with such a shit show. I'm grieving and try to move my dead father's belongings and that's how your company treats people. You and those employees should be ashamed of what you represent. Provide placement of trailer at nearest uhaul location. There was a difference of over an hour of travel round trip because of 30 mins travel both directions. Also when texting or emailing location of pickup please include all information including full address. Location is on a street name that has to include circle. It did not resulting in additional travel time to pick up trailer.

I was double charged and the funds that I was told would be released immediately were not which resulted in an overdraft on my account. 4 days later and it’s still held. Called to get a release faxed to bank and it was never sent. One call took 20 minutes to get to customer service and was transferred 3 times and hung up on. Worst experience ever. While my bank did not charge an over draft fee I am out 6 hours trying to resolve this issue (still not resolved). Also none of the previous damage on the truck was documented. My advice if you use uhaul check your truck, pay in cash, and don’t have high expectations of decent customer service.

Tried using the U-Haul at Noland and I-70 and they were not very accommodating at all. This one on 24 Hwy was excellent and we would recommend it, but not the other one. It was terrible.

Mobile check out process was tedious and took too long. I was chatting live with an agent and response times were horrible. During the process the website said drivers license was expired when it clearly was not. Acting trying to chat for 30 minutes to resolve this I ended up going inside the U-Haul store and they helped me and had me ready to go in 5 minutes. If you are going to provide a chat option to resolve mobile checkout issues I suggest more agents to facilitate quicker response times and quicker problem resolutions. I do like U-Haul and will rent again but will think twice about using the mobile pick up service. Thank you, Michael

Reserved a truck Thursday 5-30-2019.for a two day rental coming back On Sunday 6-2-2019 picking up at I=70 and Noland Road Independence Mo location. I took a UBER to this location to find out I did not have a truck at this location. It was at the 24hwy location. When I told the mgr I was told I could take a bus? They had no trucks. They also stated that I only had a truck for one day not two days. I was lied to. I was threatened by UHAUL regional reservations that I would be banned from renting from UHAUL if I went past a 10 am drop off on 6-1-2019 and that I they would come and pick up the truck. You can read the rest of this situation on the multiple posts I have made on social media and all of this has been forwarded to my attorney

The desk, where the worker sits, is hidden from view, and there is no marker that tells the customer where to go to find the desk. Again, the computer system was troublesome when attempting to return the vehicle after hours. After following the directions at Uhaul.com/share and entering the order details to login, it returned me to the login screen - even after several attempts. Finally, I called Uhaul and they said that the app is not working, and to take photos of the truck and it’s location and to send them to Uhaul. I had to double-check to verify that the truck return was processed. The vehicles were in excellent condition.

Stood in line 15 minutes only to be told that I had to go connect to the trailer first. Waited 5 minutes for someone to help find the trailer. Even though I reserved an enclosed 5x8 trailer I was told they had none and no one in Independence had any. Why allow me to reserve it then. When ahead and took a 5x9 trailer. Waited another 20+ minutes to get the paperwork done. CC swipe would not work and he had to restart the transaction to manually enter the number. Seems like software was one of the biggest reasons for all the waiting. Every transaction took multiple attempts and only 1 person taking care of paperwork. Will not return.
