Not at all happy about being charged $20 for gas when it was returned at the same amount of fuel as when I picked it up. Then when I got my receipt after drop-off, it was noted that the tank was empty and charged $20 for fuel. (it was NOT empty, warning on the dash said 39 miles to empty) The trip to turn it in was 43 miles and I put 5,2 gallons in it at the gas station so that I was sure to put enough in to cover the trip. Gal at the pick-up location said truck got 10 miles/gallon, so that should have been more than enough. I guess if you find it necessary to charge me $20 for fuel for 1 mile worth of gas then go ahead, but you won't get me back as a customer ever again! RIDICULOUS!! Someone needs to train the employees about how to read gas gauges and not charge customers for stuff. I turned the truck back in cleaner than I found it, and thought I had done everything properly. Obviously I was wrong.

Robert F.The mobile check in app is ridiculous. The check-in agent seemed irritated that I had the audacity to rent a U-Haul. When I returned the U-Haul, the guy literally took the key while I stood there blankly waiting for him to check the vehicle in. I tried to hand him my paperwork and he said, "You're good," dismissively. And guess what, he never checked the truck back in, which I found out 26 hours later when U-Haul called to accuse me of not returning the truck. Not a good experience.

Then and only then did someone say I will be with you shortly. It is becoming more and more common that eye contact or saying I will be with you soon have left customer service. A customer should never feel that they are just a number. Sadly I feel that if the employees are doing what does that say about the owners and management.

Shalonda M.Overall the experience was good, the only item would be to have cruise control for the vehicles. The 10 ft GMC truck we rented did not have cruise control. This was not ideal for a one way long trip rental. For safety reasons, I would have preferred to set the cruise to 70 MPH and stay in the right lane.

Tom O.Cargo van reservation was not available at the location selected and I received a call the day before. Although I was offered a larger 10' box truck, I did not want a larger vehicle had to go to another location for pickup. Not a terribly big deal, the other pick up location was only five miles away. The inside of the van didn't appear it had been cleaned. The van smelled like an ashtray and gave me a headache the entire 6 hours I drove it. The app for check in did not work, it was quicker to go inside and talk to an employee. "Stevie", who checked me in, did a great job. Overall, my expectations of U-haul were low to start and they were certainly met.
Jon B.The truck had not been maintained at all. We were scared the entire rental as the engine light was on the entire time we had it. The weather was solid rain, which isn't anyones fault, but having a truck full of furniture in the rain with a faulty engine and the possibility of getting stuck mid-move was very stressful. The wipers were not good either as they must have been very low on the rubber wiper blade because they sounded like metal on glass. As it was pouring with rain most of the time we had it, it further stressed us. This was the worst truck I have ever rented.

patrica H.CSRs are always extremely rude and there is never the trucks in stock that are showing available online. Truck needed an oil change. Have an issue every single time I have been to this location. Almost always end up leaving and going to the location on Waverly. If this wasn't closer I would never go to this location.

JOLEE H.Low energy customer service. I felt like I was an inconvenience to the employee. I was expected to go out and find my own vehicle and clean snow off the windshield. I would have expected the employee to take me to the truck so I did not have to hunt for it and then, at least have a brush in the truck. My truck should have been cleaned and ready for me to go. He told me I should have brought my own brush when I asked him to brush off my truck. His attitude was lackluster at best. I secured my rental online a day prior. So I would have expected them to know that I was coming and that should have given them time to prepare my truck. When I rent another truck, I will certainly go to a different location. It's the little things that make a huge difference in perception of a brand or company.

I purchased an appliance dolley, the truck did not have one. I had to come all the way back in the rental to pick up the equipment I purchased. Which added more miles on the truck. I was charged for.
ANNTRINETTE B.When you schedule appointments, keep the appointment. You sent us 4 different locations to pick up the truck! Further, I requested a 26' truck…you tried to make me take a 15' truck after a phone confirmation that my truck would be ready! Further Still, after getting my truck 2 hours late, driving 3 hours to pick up a truck and then got back to my original confirmed location, they had 3 of the trucks like the one you made me drive 3 hours to pick up!!! I cannot even call it poor customer service! Words cannot explain how irritating it was to have you not only inconvenience me as a customer but to cost me an additional day of my time to comply with your poor scheduling!!! Try changing to a different profession. You will not be around long if you continue treating your customers the way you are!!!
Jeff P.I reserved a pickup truck when I got to the location the young man checked me in said he was going to pull the truck around waited outside then he gives me the keys and tells me the truck is on the other side of the lot it was not a pickup truck it was a box truck I went in and told him I did not Reserve that truck he told me that the pickup trucks were in the shop I asked him why wasn't I notified so I could have went somewhere else he told me he did not know I think I should be compensated for this because I did not like driving that truck and that's not what I paid for.

I was hesitant to go back but it's the most convenient one. I was beyond pleased with the difference in cleanliness, customer service, and overall organization that I saw. Huge change from a year and a half ago! I was a little apprehensive about my things being safe at this store due to location but Jordan Martin took me to where my belongings would be held and showed me how secure the area was and that everything is under surveillance. Jordan was so friendly, personable, and reassuring which made me feel safe. I will be coming here for future services and also be recommending this location to everyone!!! Excellent job!!!! I am so happy with my experience!!!!
