I originally rented from another location and was told the day before pick up they couldn't accommodate. This is the 2nd time UHaul has done this to me. After saying I would get my rental in Illinois and drive it in the caller looked around and found the Kingshighway location. Everything worked out fine and the location was accommodating but UHaul needs to notify renter a lot earlier!James F.

Wait was not long. Check in and return was relatively easy. I always come to this u-haul when I need a truck. It helps that they are right next to a gas station when it's time to refuel. Great service.SANDRA M.
Reserving via the app is a great service, but when I arrive for pickup the same questions are asked again regardless. I even need to provide a credit card even though one was saved with the reservation. The ideal experience would enable the app to skip the desk at pickup.Thomas R.

The equipment I requested was not provided. I asked for an appliance dolly and was only provided with a utility dolly. I was also told the gas gauge was not full and was on 7/8ths of a tank, when i brought it back not full as I was instructed initially I was told it needed to be on full and subsequently had to go inside to get the issue resolved.MARGARET G.

Disappointed in ordering the truck. Requested it in Arnold Mo at 9 am and had to pick it up in St Louis City at noon. Lost 3 hours in moving time and had to drive almost 30 more miles than I needed to. Ordered it in plenty of time to have it ready at the Arnold location.DOUGLAS H.

I went to pick up the truck on 6/24. The associate that assisted me was nice and professional. However, on 6/25 I was on my way back to location to get the car transport placed on the truck when the truck broke down. Uhaul was unable to get me a replacement truck within the next 48 hours. They agreed to refund me the entire amount. However, this was a huge inconvenience especially since I had to pay an additional 500 $to find a replacement. I also have yet to receive my refund and the 800 number keeps you on hold beyond 30 minutes.MORSHA H.

The person at the outside return needs to work on his tone and delivery. I was unaware that we needed to sweep out the back of the truck. He abruptly asked why it was not cleaned. I swept the truck. I had to debate my charges. He tried to charge me for two days. I had to prove my departing gas level & was challenged on all fees. The person tried to double my total. The lights on the truck unfortunately were in bad shape. I drove a chunk of my trip into the night and one of the bright bulbs was completely out, and the headlights themselves were extremely weak and dim. Made the drive quite difficult. The employees at drop off location could have cared less when I shared that information and said that wasn't their issue.Emily H.
we had a HUGE issue with the reservation line. we made a reservation weeks in advance. we received a confirmation of the reservation & marked that off the list of things to take care of. THEN on the day before we were to pick up the rental truck, you called to say that the truck was NOT available. we had to argue & fight for the truck that we ultimately received. that is NO WAY to handle a reservation for your rental trucks. if you are not going to honor the reservations, then why bother??? it all worked out in the end, but it was a rough couple of hours while we argued with your customer service teamPAUL M.

This location tried to charge me for two EXTRA days when I returned the trailer a day EARLY. Tried to charge me an extra 60 $+. Sorry you can process things in a timely fashion, but that's not on me! The truck I got was ridiculous. The check engine light was on. Then it started raining and water was coming in really bad from a leak over the steering wheel. I had to pull over under a tree so the water wouldn't come in as bad. I had to put a towel over my legs cause they were getting wet. My feet got soaked.LAVADA S.

The vehicle reserved for me would not go into gear. An attendant told me that explained why it was parked where it was. The attendant told me that he would get another van ready as quickly as he could and moved another van into the prep area and went to work. It took him about 30 minutes to get the van ready while I stood in the parking area waiting. As a result it ran us uncomfortably close to our client's timeline.. I have used U Haul at this location and the service has been excellent and I know things can go wrong. I feel we should be offered some compensation for this inconvenience.WILLIAM T.

Also, there was a large stain in the trailer when I picked it up as well as the fact that your technician was trying to tell me I didn't have a 2 inch ball installed on my car. I had to drive from this location to Hillsboro Missouri which is about 45 mins away, the problem that we had is we discovered during the drive back there was NO transmission fluid. It was bone dry, the truck was making a grinding noise and was driving sluggish; however we purchased the item and proceeded forward with the trip.ERIC B.

The lady who helped me was great. She gave me her full and undefined attention even though they had a lot going on. The first unit I reserved the door would not latch so I had to get the next size storage unit. The next unit had 2 locks on it so unfortunately I was not able to have that unit. I did not like the second floor the lights did not turn on and it look like all the storage units was old and dirty. The staff at this storage facility were all helpful, and made move in day as easy as possible despite my circumstances. However, the building is a little outdated, and the elevators are very small. The staff here tried their best to find a new solution for us, but ultimately the moving crew that I hired had to carry my 2-piece sectional up 6 flights of stairs, which caused my moving cost to be much more expensive than I had planned (and hard labor for the movers). ** If you have large pieces to store I would suggest a facility with a freight elevator. ** Aside from the elevator size, I would recommend this facility, overall a clean and secure center.Rachel J. | Premières impressions
