I was given a trailer that didn't have a working left single light...I bought the trailer back on time and they charged me an extra day. I had to call back to get the money reimbursed. Still have not received it back....horrible

I rent trucks and vans for my business on a regular basis from the La Habra facility. They have always been very helpful and know me on a first name basis. Never any problems but a slight confusion last rental which was quickly reviewed and remedied by Danny. Makes it nice to know that I can get in and out with no problem!

You have a policy of charging customers for gas, but not then replacing the fuel(which you were paid for at a significant rate above market), making it difficult for me to guess how much fuel to restore into the tank. And because of this U-Haul policy, I was given a truck with only a quarter tank of gas, resulting in an extra stop for gas before I could get to my job done. This policy: 1) creates ill will from your customers 2) may be borderline fraud, as you were paid for a service(replace the fuel) that was never performed.

The La habra brach was great. However, the Dayton branch did not pick up the Uboxes when I asked them too and charged me another month of storage because of that. I have tried to get a refund for that extra month because it was not my fault that the Dayton workers did not pick up the boxes until 4 days after I requested them to pick up the boxes. I will never deal with uHaul again. I have called many times and opened a formal complaint but still this issue is not resolved.

The first associate told me only a credit card could be used when I gave her a debit card but when I checked out a second associate charged my debit card. I think informing your employees of correct policies will help. Also there wasnt much direction given to me regarding when I first came in to check out a vehicle in terms of coverage plans and going over the vehicle. Also, when I reserved the vehicle I answered a bunch of questions and then had to re answer the same questions in person.

Make sure a Truck that was for an out of state one way Rental is ready for The trip, So The customer doesn't have to Reject it and Wait for another. Also, Stick by a Reserved Price and not add $80. when the truck is picked up.

Almost perfect. When I returned my truck, the sign instructs costumers to remain with their rented equipment and a representative will come out and assist them. I did that and waited for 10 mins. I then decided to walk into the lobby. When I came through the door the employees became suddenly busy and said they would help me. Not sure what was up but I didn't feel served. However, once served they were quick and helpful.

So someone from your corporate office said they'd leave a note about this in my rental, but I never got the 10 furniture pads that I requested, and I was charged $10 for it. The photos I took when I returned the vehicle clearly show no furniture pads. Please make sure to refund me that $10 since the entire day when we were moving furniture, we had no furniture pads present. If you have further questions, email me or call at 714-308-3310 . I returned the truck after hours, tried to follow the instructions on the drop off box. 1) The "24/7" website was very confusing. 2) "Return my Truck" was NOT an option. 3) I was instructed to take photos that were never submitted, an entire waste of time.

The crew at the La Habra store were great! They were very helpful not only to me but the other customers ahead of me. I would absolutely recommend this store. Everyone was amazing!

Trucks should be in good working condition and serviced well. We had issues with the sliding door panel not closing,that we have to call for service. VP fleet service came and replace both cables on the door as they were worn out. Delayed us at least 2 hours for this. And thus delayed in return of vehicle. It was really an inconvenience for us as we were supposed to be somewhere else by 5 pm.

The worst location ever, they manipulate the pictures of the gas display to made additional money out of their customers. Disrespectful staff not willing to address costumer dissatisfactions in an respectful manner. U-Haul has lost a costumer that utilized their service throughout his whole military career change of station moves. The worst U-Haul location ever!!!!!

I rented a 26 foot truck license plate AD03198, as I walked around the truck I mentioned to the attendant (only guy working, took 25 min before he could help me. Not his fault, he was working hard but one person working Saturday morning didn't make sense to me) anyhow I mentioned that the alignment seemed of and that the back wheels didnt align with the front. He told me 'just the fender is bent' I said look at this, he came back with just the fender. Anyhow I get out on the road and the back of the uhaul, the box is twisted and as a result the uhaul is an extra 1ft to 1.5ft wider. I had to hug the left lane hard just to make it inside the lanes. It was sketchy. I had over 6 people on my 120 mile round trip let us know the Uhaul was twisted. I have a video of me driving from behind that clearly shows this truck is messed up. I go back to let the uhaul folks know thinking this thing was crashed and wasnt reported or something and THEY DONT BELIEVE ME. They come back with just the fender!!! I cant believe they are mad a me for being a little argumentative about this. I tell them to drive the truck please and that its dangerous. I go home and realize I left my clicker in the uhaul and have to go back (long day). Sure enough they looped the uhaul around, put the sun visor back up and its parked like when I rented it, so its easy for customers to drive out. They truck has been prepped and is now ready for rent!! I now believe they know this truck is broken and dangerous but dont care b/c its a good money maker for them. Again please go to this location and pull truck AD03198. I have picture and video to show this truck should be pulled.

Come to find out Mrs. Lopez provided the worst customer service that I’ve ever received. I strictly told her that I needed a one way uhaul and she quoted me $89 before tax which was fine. She wrote down the drop off location in Oregon. We dropped the uhaul off on time. The next day she charged my card over $1200 for the rental. Which is ridiculous.!!! That is not what I was promised. I also try calling her and once she realizes it’s me, she hangs up. If I’m not refunded the money, I will be getting a lawyer! I can’t believe you have someone like that working for you let alone as a manager?!? How ridiculous.

Have fun adding your 8+ number code each time you to in & out of the facility & when you go up the elevator you have to add the code too!!! I wish I went somewhere else to home my belongings tbh. Renter beware! Look somewhere else before loading your stuff here

I waited in line for over 20 minutes and there was only 1 person ahead of me. I do believe I had to trailer lights when I left there cause of the guys face when he was checking. We got in the road and noticed there was no lights which put our trip behind. We then called U Haul to advise and was told if I had roadside service come I would be responsible for the charges but if I went to the local U Haul they would fix the issue. I went to the local U Haul and they said I needed to call roadside assistant but I told them I did and was sent to them. They were very helpful but I don’t know if the these issues were communitcated on my rental or to the store I was headed to and should been.

I spent over $600 getting a hitch installed only to find out that instead of telling me that I needed a strap to hold the luggage rack up I was supposed to read the fine print on the receipt I received. As it turns out I have $2,000 of damage to my bumper and a hitch that is absolutely worthless.

Having an elevator would be very helpful as well as having air conditioning. I also think that the unit is too expensive for what it is and the ceiling is super unsafe with nails coming through.
