Everything was great. The whole process was really quick. I really appreciated the person who checked me in asking me how long would I need the truck, worse case scenario. It did take longer then I first expected and I would have been worried not being able to extended the time or pressured to finish early.

We rented a truck for a local move. The check out experience was easy using our phones to accept/reject truck condition with pictures, as well as, checking mileage and gas tank.

Ensure maintenance is done on trucks. I pointed out the oil warning on the dash and they had to add 3 quarts of oil. The truck was completely out of alignment. Physically the cargo portion was misaligned and wheel alignment was such that when going straight the steering wheel was aligned about 20 degrees to the right.

I guess we didn't remember being charged for milage before when we rent uhaul trucks. Next time time i will rent from enterprise. It would have cost less than half of what we paid.

Truck was old, ride was horrible (sign on vehicle states “smooth ride cab”) truck could use new shocks, wheel balance, right front turn signal was falling off. I have driven trucks for 35 years, really rough ride.

I reserved a uhaul week and half in advance however when I go to the location to pick up on the day. I am told there is no uhaul and reservation was cancelled and you should have got a email. No email no notification no call from uhaul after reservation a week and half in advance. I rented it for 12 hrs. They find me a uhaul 10 miles away. I get to uhaul they tell me it's only available 8 hrs. I said ok I needed it for moving. I get in the uhaul and no alignment and hardly working brakes. There is clear indication this truck hasn't been serviced for ages. I am racing back to get uhaul back so I am not overcharged for a crappy uhaul I got. Worst experience ever. It was last day of moving where I was moving all my big furniture before handing keys to new owners next day. Really the worst service I would never recommend uhaul to anyone if this is the norm. I wish I can contact ceo or someone high up position to explain this situation. They need to really look at cusmoter service of uhaul.

it started out good I got there before they closed at 7pm on Saturday so we could start moving Sunday morning. He asked and I said should be back around 4:30 before they close at 5pm. He never told me any instructions on what to do if I got back after close. As usaul it took a little longer than expected and I got to lot at about 6pm which is still within the 24 hour rental. the lot is open no security guard the area is not a nice area I pulled in and parked behind a truck already there. Not sure what to do I left the keys in the truck and locked the doors my son picked me up and we drove off.....figured they had an extra set and there would be some form of camera or something that would log that I brought the truck back within the 24 hour rental as I was not given any instructions on what to do. I fin out they charge me for an extra day for everything truck dollies insurance and a $50 charge for locking the keys in the truck. This is insane. When I contacted the location they were not helpful at all and said the charges are the charges. this is not how you do business!

Checkout and box buying experience was outstanding. Friendly kind, patient. Return experience ruined it. We were called and ask to return the vehicle even though I wanted the truck for an additional day. Returned the truck, and was charged for an additional day. Then why ask me to return it and then charge me for another full day? I felt cheated. We swept and cleaned the inside of the truck before returning. We still had 5-7 boxes upon retuen and so I wanted to throw them away at uhaul. The closing employee said no large items can be placed in the trash cans and they didn't have a dumpster. So we took 20 min to break down the boxes, and did not leave a mess. After we took that time, the leaving employee told us that he meant we couldn't use the trash cans and we would be charged a cleanup fee. In our initial interaction, he wasn't clear about that so their was a misunderstanding. He was then a jerk about it. I told him in NOT polite language that I was following his initial instructions. He told me he will just bill me the cleanup fee, with no option on how to rectify the issue. I left pissed and I'm sure he was too. So one employees lack of customer service experience and clear explanation lead to a very poor transaction. You have millions of customers, so the loss of one isn't a big deal. But if that experience with that employee is indicative of your employees, I'm sure I'm the first and won't be the last person to swear off uhaul. Thanks again.

Staff should greet customers as they arrive and acknowledge their presence, especially when customers have to wait in line. At list they know someone saw them arrive.

I demand a refund of $55 for this rental I did in La Habra on 08/30/20. I left the KEYS in the ignition in the on position and that resulted in a dead battery. However; the KEYS were NEVER LOST, so I should not be required to pay $50 for LOST KEYS when the invoice clearly states the KEYS WERE IN THE VEHICLE. It is not my fault an extra pair of keys were not on site NOR where the extra keys picked up from a different location to unlock the vehicle. Locksmith should have NEVER been called. I also used the ONE bag of blankets that had the seal I had to break to open it BECAUSE THE BAG SAID $5 to use the blankets. I was charged $10, that is complete bullshit and demand $5 refund for a total of $55 immediately.

I just needed moving blankets to move a dining set. I did not want to buy them because I would not use them much. The set of 6 was very reasonably priced and worked perfectly. The furniture was moved without a scratch. The staff was very helpful and courteous. Very positive experience.

U-Haul service at 7422 GARDEN GROVE BL, WESTMINSTER,CA 92683 is very bad. we had a bad experience over here. the person did not respond good and directly update to next day without our concert saying no vehicle available. we asked for other location but did not respond and were rude. Later on when called to the customer care she answered us well, and then directed to manager who also responded to our queries and provided this new location 661 E Lambert La Habra, CA 90631 for pickup. Appreciate there help on this. but due to all this process it was delayed for 2 hours and which i requested for person to help in moving they went off, and I and my friends have to do by our self. Totally had a bad experience with U-Haul this time.

Having an elevator would be very helpful as well as having air conditioning. I also think that the unit is too expensive for what it is and the ceiling is super unsafe with nails coming through.
