When I arrived to pickup my truck, there was only one U-Haul rep present. She was doing the work of 2-3 people. I had to wait 10-15 minutes to get my truck, which initially was not ready. The U-Haul employee expeditiously took care of the other customers ahead of me and when she found that the truck initially reserved for me was not ready, went and found another truck on the lot and re-assigned it to me. She took great care of me and made me feel like a valued customer. If it were not for her, I would have given a two-star review. I recommend this location, just make sure the assigned trucks are ready and staff the location with at least 2 reps.

We had a 15ft truck reserved for 8:30, which was 30 mins before the location opened. When we arrived at the scheduled time our truck was blocked in by another truck. We tried to call the emergency number on the store and u-haul costumer service but were unable to get an answer with either. This meant we had to wait 30 mins until the store opened in order to retrieve our truck. The first employee arrived about 15 mins late so we were not able to leave the location until about an hour past our reservation time. Along with this we had a utility dolly rented ahead of time. The dolly was not in our truck and when I asked for one after the store opened they said they did not actually have one for us to rent. They took the cost off of our reservation, but we were not notified of this before and if we would have been able to take the truck at our scheduled time, we would not have been able to have that cost taken off. On top of all of this, our truck bay was very dirty and the gas was on 'E'. Definitely not a great start to an already crazy busy and stressful moving day.

Took us an extra 40 minutes in line waiting to get keys. Truck radio was disabled for some reason. AC vents were stuck on defrost so no AC. Smelled like leaking gas while driving and the "tighten gas cap" notification kept coming on even after checking the cap. Sun visors were flimsy and every bump would make them come down in front of your face.

Be able to receive what they reserved. I reserved a cargo van and wound up with a 10' truck because i did not have a major credit card . The rental looked as it sat unused for a long time. Did not have any problems before using my card. Even though this location is close to me , i will be doing my future business at another location

Wrong mileage info was inputted by store employee. Therefore my account was charged over $300 more than it should, which caused my checking account to overdraw. Wrong information was given to me from location. A full refund was requested for equipment and overage charges.

The things were picked up and loaded in Louisville , no hiccups. Prior to moving day and a week or so I was informed that delivery date was pushed out to the 19th from the 18th. But received a message on the 17th, from Tyrone movers they were coming the 18th. Informed them it was changed to the 19th. Received a call on the 19th from movers, U-Haul facility in Peachtree City didn't have m6 Uboxes pulled. Called the facility said that it couldn't be pulled until the 20th. Luckily the movers were able to move me until the 20th. The containers arrived on the 20th. Unloading went off with out a hitch and the two men I would definitely give them a 5 ⭐️. 10 if that is a possibility. They were polite and keep to task! I'm still glad I went with the U Boxes and would definitely recommend this service to any one who asks.

The uhaul smelled like pee/urine it was horrible it was cold yesterday so when I went to turn the heat on it was coming through the vents making the smell even worst i had to ride with the windows down in 40degree weather the lady was rude at the desk she didn’t even come out to do walk around of the truck to check for damages or the gas it’s was just horrible I called immediately in to complain

google address is not correct. people giving instructions acted like I should know where nearby businesses were. Had my initial size request on the lot but since uhaul had already screwed up my reservation I had to go to another lot to get it. Requested with uhaul reservations that I did NOT want to do the online check in and thats a whole nuther mess!!

Vehicle did not have any air condition at all. None of the vents blew any air no matter what setting you had it on. Brutal after loading and moving to have to ride in a hot cab.

The staff were rude and very aggressive. Trailer was very dirty and full of grease on the flat surface. No one helped in hooking up or came out to take the picture. When I went in the store to let them come out and take the picture of the hook up I was ordered like a criminal to go and sit in my vehicle and wait. It is not okay to treat customers this way.

I have rented several times from this location most all the times have been flawless except for the last one I made my reservation two weeks in advance for a van I always pay the same way this time there was a problem I think either they didn't have my reservation as perquested cuz when I called to talk to the store they said it was for the next day which I knew that wasn't true but when I got to the location to pick up the van I couldn't get the van they put me in a much bigger larger vehicle that I did not need therefore more gas and I didn't need the space when I returned the oversized vehicle that I didn't request and I thought I was pushed upon I was told that I was misspoke to when I picked up the van and someone didn't understand the procedure. I always use U-Haul and continue to do so but I feel that I wasn't treated as I should have been

I’m trying to figure out why I was charged a additional 8 dollars you need to be transparent rather than snake people.. I over fueled the truck and it was given back in the same manor and I look at my account and see a slimy $7 charge that just disgusted me on how yall feel the need to charge people without telling them

They overcharged me $32 for my rental over the rate quoted on my online reservation. They claimed that the difference would be sent to me by U-haul. They said they wanted the higher rate to make more $ for the location. It was a lie! They should have charged me the rate quoted on my online reservation. When I reached my drop off location, I learned the what they should have done. Very disappointed with the behavior of the Louisville staff. Renter beware.

I worked with a woman named Mesha and she was amazing from start to finish! She made the move in process as smooth as possible. She answered all of my questions and concerns. She is the epitome of the employee that all employers should have. She's patient and shows compassion for customers such as myself. The moving out process can be hard, so she made the move in process so smooth that I could not imagine myself having worked with anyone else. She exceeds the expectations for U-Haul, and I hope that you hire more employees such as herself.

Ordered an appliance dolly and there was no dolly when I pulled up 40 miles to pick up the 4 appliances. Wasted time and money as I didn't have time to in by schedule due to kids and school to go back and pick up the dolly plus all the extra mileage.

Truck needs some maintenance done. There was a problem with fueling the truck. I believer the pressure relief valve is clogged. The gas pump kept shutting off even though the tank was not full. I had to hold the gas pump to slowly fill the tank which took 15 to 20 minutes each time.

They did not have the truck we rented so we needed to get a cargo van. The building and the van reeked of marijuana so much that I had to have the window open and it still gave me a headache. I'm not against people smoking and totally understand the medical benefits but more than cigarette smoke, it lingers.

The staff was very helpful and supportive, even though we had some issues wit locating our truck and wasnt able to get a dolly i reserved, the lady that helped up was so professional and sweet to work with I couldn't even leave disappointed about it. Also the guy tat assisted me when I dropped the truck off was super nice and professional as well, hire more people like them they made what could have been an awful experience very nice!

my experience at u-haul was amazing. in this day and age it is hard to ever find good customer service, but that is not the case at this u-haul. everything i needed was tended to above and beyond and Meshea, the store manager, was exceptional in her knowledge to my questions and her kindness and helpfulness was above and beyond. i cannot say enough how much i would recommend this u-haul. thank you u-haul and Meshea Gough!!!

I had a slight delay and getting into my locker because I'd forgotten my locker number and there was a little mix up on the paperwork but the lady is there took care of it totally it's it's a clean place. The service was great but ! The employees need to understand the the customer comes first and any other conversations out side of the business at hand needs to be conducted not in the presence of the renters …. Also a professional attitude needs to be maintained at all times , in front of the customer…. Efficiency. Needs to be a priority there is too much time spent listening to the staff talking about things that should not be said , the employees person issues also, not everyone can relate what she did and what he said and what she did , this needs to end take care of the client first then spend that time to talk about what ever but not when waiting on a client, thanks

The bed floor had laundry detergent spilt all over. It made it hard to load truck. It was like walking on ice. On the plus side, it was very convenient to be able to drop of the rental at a U-Haul facility where I have my storage unit.

The Preston highway location wasn't my first location I had to get that because the First location was a gravel parking lot with one truck in it and nothing else No one to talk to no building no office no nothing I was supposed to pick up the truck at 12:30 I called the 800 number and they gave me the pression location which was fine I don't know sent to a gravel parking lot with no one there It took me an hour and a 1/2 to finally get a vehicle I filled out all the information a day ahead of time so I could just cruise through the rental process But it turned out I had to do everything over again another waste of time about a 30 minutes The total experience was absolutely awful depression highway location the people were nice but You need to look at that Location on grade lane there is nothing there Yes given is actually a junkyard the junkyard knows nothing about the truck rentals they say they're just winning a parking lot My satisfaction Rating is 0 The truck I got at Preston was almost out of gas I didn't know how much to put in it and I put way too much in it and I have gotten nothing back for that either The time I was going to rent it with 6 hours it only took 3 and a 1/2 The mileage is very small I want to get some recourse thank you

The unit space is not big enough for a 1-2 bedroom apartment. The movers could not get everything in the storage. Which made my movers fee extremely costly. It took too much time to try to fit everything. The end result I have 1/2 of my belongings in the middle of the floor. I am very upset about the entire experience!

The lady that assisted me was very friendly but it took extra time due to her having to work at a different location than her own. This caused me to have to pay an extra hour for the movers I requested through the uhaul website. The only issue with the storage was the limited amount of carts.

I was not satisfied with the move in process of one elevator and several moves going on at once. I actually went to Public Storage after I checked in at the desk at U-Haul once I saw how time consuming it wow. My experience at the counter was not all that good either. My reservation was not found and it took an hour to get my payment to go through. I'll never try this location again persanally

Reserved a first floor 5x10 online before going to the office to finalize. After finalizing paperwork and given access keys, our unit was a 5x5 on the second floor. We can make it work, but it totally defeated the purpose of registering online ahead.

I've already told a friend about how good this moving experience was. The staff who processed our truck and storage rentals we're friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. We felt like the design of the Self-Storage solutions facility was pretty well thought out. The elevator should be tweaked just a bit though, so that the door stays open about 20 - 25 seconds longer. In one instance of loading to go upstairs, the door closed on my sister's arm as she tried to wave it back open for another customer. The main thing that kept me from selecting the "Excellent" rating is the need for more flatbed carts. This particular location needs at least two more of them. As we experienced, five or six families trying to achieve the transportation of belongings with just 3 flat carts and a mattress cart added on to the stress of moving.

Everything was great until I moved out and was still charged. I call the manager who checked my out the storage, but still charged me for the following month. She did a reverse payment and I still haven't gotten it to my bank yet

The facility was great, is brand new so is expected. And the staff was very helpful in person. But upon checkout and clearing my unit they charged me 2 more months rent. I called numerous times ( no less than 10 separate occasions) only to be immediately put on hold without even being able to get a word out. I would stay on hold from 10 to over 30 min with never being able to speak to anyone. It took me speaking with a separate customer service center 3 different occasions to resolve the issue. The store in question would've charged me a 3rd month if I hadn't of removed my payment method from the system. Without the ability to speak with a separate customer service I would've never been able to get this resolved. My only option would've been to drive back to the storage facility and speak in person. Which at that point I had already moved hours away which I'm sure a good amount of those that empty a storage unit do.

The told us after we used the free month. We don't have to tell them we no longer want the unit. If we want the unit another month we have to tell them. Other wise they will take our stuff and put it out. So we lift the unit after just 30 days. Though we got charged for 2 other months. Once we kept receiving bills. Then we called uhaul and that's when we found out. That we had been missed lead. And now have a big unexpected bill.

There was a lot I had to do with my move and storage so things can be rough and stressful. Although I have to say the staff was one of the best I have experienced. They were friendly and very understanding of the situation. I do apologize for how I was trying to make ends meet but every step of the way it was very easy to work with them. Any questions, concerns, and services that were needed. They provided it. I would recommend anyone who needs to move or store their things here. Thank you for the services and I look forward to working with them again very soon!

The staff was amazing! Use if the dollies and moving carts was free of charge. The facility was very clean. The only thing was it was a way back to move my items, but it is to be expected with indoor storage. Security was very good with keypad access. Will definitely use them again.

The guy who is the manager had a nasty attitude! Anytime we spoke or interacted with him he always seemed to be mean for no reason so I chose to match his energy. The very day we went there he was mad when we arrived at 6:15 pm although they didn't close until 7:00 pm. He then started cussing and going off because he was supposed to been off earlier because "he had a date!" The unit was still under construction. We would call at least 5-6 times each time we wanted to access our unit to to see if someone could let us in. No one would answer the phone so we would have to physically go to the office then have someone to drive over to let us in. We never received an access code the entire time we was there. When I called to cancel the until someone answered and asked if I could hold and I literally sat on hold 28 minutes. I kept calling and calling and calling and finally someone from customer service answered and she tried calling the store as well and they wouldn't answer for her. She put a note in the system for someone to call me so I could cancel the unit. About 3 hours later I finally got a call back. I would never rent a until with uhaul ever again, even if it was free! It's just not worth the headache they put your through. It's stressful enough being between homes, but uhaul just added another level of stress that wasn't needed.

I went through the most I made reservations didn’t have truck I reserved and got cut off in the middle of my storage was on phone 3 different time 15 minutes a piece and once I got there was there 30 minutes had to do it all over when I had reservations number

I waited two days for someone to show up at this storage unit that was rented to me and it's not even technically open. Or shouldn't it be. It still has major construction going on. There is stuff all over the facility that is unsafe and we had to try and bring all of our stuff into the unit very quickly because the lady was rude because we were late. Because nobody showed up to let us in and we were trying to work around that and the people helping us move. Just very unprofessional

I used the U-Boxes, it cost me $280 to rent them and there was alot that I was not told for example: there is a monthly fee for renting them, there was an additional fee for delivery.
