The air conditioning is not working and the service person did not tell me that uhaul has after hour drop off. It’s cost me more than 70 dollars just because of your Bad customer service.

I asked manager Tate, New Orleans-Michoud, to change my destination from Corpus Christi, TX to Victoria, TX. He replied, couldn't because the contract was out of his system. He told me to call scheduling. Before I left the property I phoned scheduling. I asked the lady to change my destination. She said she could not and told me to ask Tate; she said he was the only one who can change it. I told her I asked him and Tate said he could not change it. She said the only other way was at the destination. Hours later I phoned scheduler again to change my destination. The rep said they could not and said the Tate should have changed it before I left the property. I arrived to Victoria and phoned Corpus Christi to change the destination. She explained that she could not and tried anyway. She said the manager Tate should have changed the destination. I phoned Victoria to ask if I could return the trailer to them. I explained what happened and he took my info and hung up to call someone within U-haul for help in assisting me. I phoned corporate 3 times because the 1st and 2nd reps hung up intentionally when I mentioned Tate. The 3rd rep was able to assist me and stated Tate should have changed my destination. I don't understand why Tate handled me in that way. I am a nice respectable man. I am not rude. I am a loyal U-haul customer. I didn't deserve to be treated this way. I paid $20 more and the distance was less miles to Victoria than Corpus Christi. Please fix the overage of which I was charged.

Thank you for asking I would recommend giving the gentleman who serviced me a pay raise he went beyond his duties to the company his genuinely cared and made sure I had everything I needed to make my moving day run smoothly. He's definately an asset to your company show him you appreciate his commitment by commiting to a raise to his well being. Thanks for an awesome expirence!!??

The one on chef hwy is the worst ever that need improved on that Customer skills. In the one in Michoud is wonderful

When I try drop it off to close spot it was not safe to leave it. Try find spot. The guy told me I didn’t owe anything. That i was good. He was in hurry and they drop me $25 for miles and I wanted to leave in safe spot. He acted like he was in hurry and couldn’t see about me at drop off . It was long line at drop off.

This locations customer service is great. I ran into a problem during the self serve return. The website was having problems so I was charged an after hour fee. Other than that the service was great.

The truck was clean, but its was apparent that it was not being properly maintained. The truck was struggling to pick up speed. I was literally driving at 20 miles per hour. The truck had no get up and go. I left an item in the truck and called twice about retrieving it and was told someone at the location would call me back. I'm still waiting for the phone call. I've decided that I will just have to go to the location and hope that my garage remote is still in the truck.

This was the worst experience with uhaul. We drove 6 hours to la to load our storage to bring back to miss. We were suppose to pick up at 9:00 and got a phone call at 8:54 and was told our truck was not there. I was angry. I guess tp appease me they gave me 50.00 and an extra day. Well the day before turning the truck in, someone called me and left a message that they would appreciate if i turned in the by 9.oo and if possible the night before. We unloaded truck as fast as we could and turned it in about 6:00 the night before, so we didn't use the extra day. I found it a little rude to ask me to turn the truck in earlier after the mess with the truck. I don't know if i will ever use uhaul again.

Great customer service but the truck I rented was infested with roaches. I was up until 3 am this morning in my garage shaking out roaches and washing myself and my daughters clothing. I am currently STILL in the process of fumigating my belongings so that I do not being the critters into my new residence. This is not something I would like about. I am a very clean person. Nearly OCD Therefore I am 100 percent sure the roaches came from the truck, no matter who cleaned it and who has rented the truck before me. When I got it it was infested with roaches. However I did not realize until I was unloading. If you know anything about roaches they move around in the dark and tend to scatter when there is light. So the whole time I was loading I did not see anything. But there were PLENTY, particularly coming from the right side of the truck. I would greatly appreciate if someone would follow up with me on this issue, thanks.

The worker whom I dealt with was very polite and his service was great.The truck he originally had for me was dead because someone left the lights on.He came back and told me what was what and changed my rental quickly.On the other hand the truck was a good truck but something ate me up in it.There was little white bugs in it.

Please let me explain what it took to get to this location. I reserved a truck 8 days prior to Sunday. Only to find out by calling myself on Saturday. My reservation was not at the location, Tulane Ave. that I reserved it for. The reservation had been transferred to the Saint Claude location. The time was also changed from 9:00 AM to 11:30 PM that night without my knowledge. Keep in mind, that I reserved his truck eight days in a Vance and the representative gave me to run around from store to store to store finally someone from customer service name Kim found a Laurich truck at the Michaud location. The representative also advised me because of all All the problems and the mixup with my reservation I would receive 30 FREE miles at U-Haul’s expense.Well once I arrived at the Michelle location of course I didn’t receive 30miles they ADD 30 MILES on to my contract.This U-Haul experiences have been a total nightmare but keep in mind the people at the Michoud branch were really nice and very professional other than that it was a horrible experience

Had an issue with the car hauler it would not hold the car when pulling forward it seemed OK for a sec it then to back up the front skid set the tire sit on started to live towards the bumper lifting away from the bottom platform when you pull forward they would go back down did not trust it look like something was wrong back the car off and parked it and did not use the car hauler yet it’s damaged Damaged it I did not use it not only that when I left I didn’t get the insurance on it when I got back my husband asked me if I got insurance I told him no I didn’t and I needed it and he said no you need the insurance on everything you rent I called back to U-Haul when a very very short time after picking it up and asked if I could add the insurance they told me that since I was gone more than 10 minutes that the answer was no I asked if I could turn it in and re-rent it with the insurance they told me no now my bank account is empty and I don’t have a dime to my name

I was very pleased with the pick up location and with the level of service the people working there offered. What I am not happy with is your website. The website crashed 3 times before I finished. This made me think that my booking wasn’t completed. I did not receive an e-mail confirmation for these bookings. The 4th attempt was successful. Unfortunately someone from u-haul called me that there was no van available at the location on st. Claude ave. in New Orleans, but that we could pick it up st the location at michoud blv. When we went to pick up the van at michoud blv., we were called by u-haul if we were still coming to pick up the 3 vans I booked and st. Claude??!! Which means I spent a total of 42 dollar to get to michoud blv. While there were vans available at st. Claude, which is in walking distance of where so live. Again, the booking for the van on st. Claude wasn’t finished and I only got an e-mail confirmation for 1 van. The one of the booking where the site didn’t crash. So I ended up spending money in Lyfts and lost 2 hours of my day which was totally unnecessary seeing that there were vans available at st. Claude, they were just not showing as available because of these other bookings that were never finished. Like I said, I was very happy with the service at the pick up location and the equipment. But the situation put a lot more stress and spending money on my day than I was hoping for and than was necessary. Thank you for taking the time to read this. I don’t mean to nag. It’s just a bit frustrating to find out that you spend over 40 dollar lyft to pick up a 35dollar rental vehicle and then find out this was not necessary.

They ask if I would recommend "this location to a friend",of course. Would I recommend them to rent from U-Haul period...NO.This location is soooooo much better than other locations. They are MUCH FRIENDLIER, better manners,while standing there "they acknowledge you,and if they are taking long with a customer,they will let you know they apologize and will be with you shortly. Other U-Haul places I've visited were terrible. One question..... How do you rent a truck for $19.95,and the MI charges are $29.95,more than the truck rental. You might as well say $40 for the rental. Just ridiculous.

Don't allow the staff to steal by increasing cost of credit card for no reason. I topped off gas to requested amount and was still charged. I traveled a total of 25 miles and paid for 2.5 gallons of gas at return, have receipt showing time location and purchase. They need to know everyone is not dumb enough, whereas mileage by gallon equals sum of what is owed.

Provide better training so the employees know where the customer is suppose to drop off the equipment. I was told by the original rental place to leave equipment at a location that didn't even rent uhaul, which I didn't find out until I tried dropping it off there!! Thankfully the '800' number representative was able to tell me where to go.
