The general manager, I can't remember his name, is an example of how customer service oriented employees should be! I've done customer service for 23 years in the automotive service industry and he surprised me! Didn't think people like him existed anymore! When a person walks into a store they should be greeted and acknowledged. The rep'a job is to acknowledge ppl and say when they will get with you. Human traffic management. Ben kept his head down on the cell phone. The older guy came w the lock from around back even though a lock was right by Ben's desk. I had to wait and wait like it's the Valley and no one cares, and they don't blink at answering the phone. It just rings. No visible hustle. The one thing good i can say, is that it seemed he provided two units side by side combined into one price and gave me that 1st month free. Replace tow dolly wheel straps when you have bad wear and tear, one of the straps were torn due to long period use, not safe, also one tail light was out, we had to switch to different tow dolly cause of that.JESUS G.

Customer service was alright, could barely understand what the customer service man was saying behind the fiber glass. Truck has not been cleaned, so we had to clean it. We didn't think we had to check it before taking it as I thought it would be sanitized, cleaned and all that BEFORE giving it to another PAYING CUSTOMER. I want to start this by saying the Harlingen store is not what I'm reviewing here.They did what they could. I'm reviewing what a shit show uhaul is from your tv boxes that was supposed to keep my tv safe from your uboxes that was sent all the way across the country by mistake. After finally receiving our lost ubox, that was mistakenly sent to new York instead of Texas, we found out that our tv that we painstakingly packed in a $30 uhaul tv box was damaged beyond repair. The box shows no damage so it wasn't our stuff being packed improperly as the repwest claim denial stated. You could definitely improve by 1) actually communicate with your customers ( because nobody even let us know a box was missing) 2) ditching that BS insurance company...they only insure the ubox and not the customers stuff. So many mistakes happened that I will never use uhaul for anything again.KATIE S.
Every single Uhaul representative gave me a different answer from the last. I couldn't even get an accurate answer on whether the store I rented from was closed on Sunday. I wish I would have googled Uhaul customer service to find out just how bad it is. I surely will avoid doing business with them in the future. I would not recommend this location because I rented a 10x10 storage unit online but was assigned two 10x5 units since they did not have 10x10 units available. Since they were so misleading with renting storage, I do not trust anything related to this location.Tiffany N.

I have rented several times from Uhal over the years and usually the trucks run very well. But this truck was running rough and it has poor steering.
