Uhaul needs to purchase more trucks to rent out to the public-I had to contact 3 different locations to find a truck - nobody had trucks available-very frustrating!!!!!

The only thing that could've been better was that the jack tools tray in my highlander wasn't seated fully, because the wiring harness needed to be zip-tied out of the way and the wire harness could've been routed through the existing grommet opening to the u derided of the Toyota Highlander rather than hanging it out of the door. I worked with him to make this happen and he was very accommodating.

So Ibelive I should not have to pay for the extra miles to pick up the truck. and then return it to the down town location, I was totally pissed off! and if i didnt return it to the downtown lacation and have to pay 200 $ . i had to pay extra for gas and miles!!! i went to you all because to deliver my sofa would cost 149$ Im still upset.... a

TIMOTHY C.When I made the appointment for hitch install, I was told to have the car at the location no later than 10am. I dropped the car at 8am. I called at 4 pm and was told it was not finished. Finally, the car was finished while I waited in the store at about 5:30pm. Looking at the invoice, I was billed for only 0,8 labor hours, which means the work didn't commence until after I called at 4pm. Honesty and transparency will be a big improvement.
Nathan T.I rented a small trailer and didn't even get it home before one of tires blew out. I then had to wait 2 hours for someone to come and replace it. The tire was completely dry rotted, this trailer was poorly maintained and this was the 2nd to be offered as the first one they tried didn't have any working trailer lights. I Don't think I should not have been charged for this rental.

Jennifer G.the trailer was in very rough condition. it had a bad wheel bearing, the door was very difficult to open and one of the wooden slats fell off the side and fell on to a very expensive piece of medical equipment. But it got us where we needed to be.

Then because I didn't bring insurance paper I was charged $10 for their insurance. I have NEVER had to bring insurance paper work to rent trucks, vans or cars in my entire life? That was a scam. Just a bad experience all the way around. Do better!

When we asked about it was told that there were none available and I would not be charged. Then was told that someone has just dropped off a utility dolly by the door and we could take that but no one was able to help load the item in the truck because they were “busyâ€. I was still charged for both pieces of equipment and as of now no refund has been issued.

John L.Truck only got 6,9 miles to the gallon all the way from Illinois. Horrible gas mileage. Truck may need some maintenance. Took me way over budget. Other then that trip was good. Not even close to what they said was gas mileage was going to be.
don S.The truck that was given to me had Failing breaks. No power steering fluid. It was a long drive from Corpus Christi to Montgomery, Birmingham. I feel like, well I know they wanted the truck off their lot in Corpus, but should it really have come at my safety. It took all of the strength I had to keep the car straight, and when stopping the truck it was a crap shoot. I had to merge into the safety land 3 times to prevent from running into the back of another driver, because the break fluid or the break pads were so low. I would rather go to another company, promote another company and pay more to protect myself and others on the road. Uhaul what ever your policies are before you release trucks, it needs to be updated and improve. I feel when drivers rent long haul trucks, those especially should be more accommodating to the long drive as well as has some sort of safety check in place other than checking for the 18 Black X marks and kicking the tires. I paid $816 TO YOU TO GAMBLE WITH MY LIFE. Very poor job, poor company standards. I will also be leaving this review to as many places I can find. Merci

Why in the hell is the price change done in this manner.. I feel helpless because I didn't have any other choice.. if I had to pick between your company I would not use you again for this reason

Sooo to get to my locker its up a flight if stairs take 5 steps go down 2 steps take 2 steps go up 2 steps so theres no way to get a cart to my storage locker!! This is extremely inconvenient.
