Truck could use maintenance. Play in steering wheel, key sometimes difficult to get out of ignition, ignition loose in steering column. Mainly a nuisance, but someone else might just jerk the key out and damage the switch causing time and inconvenience. When I mentioned this to the check-in person, his reply was, well it has 154M miles and his truck has ignition key problems also. He did say he would mention it to the maintenance person. I would not have taken it except I had a commitment to move my granddaughter inLincoln Nebraska.

They were very rude, unprofessional and tried to make me take a unit I didnt want because of the price difference. I had a reservation and they said I didnt. It took me over 2 hours to be able to get my unit. Then upon returning trailer, they told me that they was going to put my deposit on my debit card even though I paid cash deposit. Took me over 30 minutes to get my cash deposit back . Worst experience of my life EVER!!!!!!! I will NEVER use this store again after my free storage is up..

Hard for an old timer to get into the 10 foot van. Please put in a handle so we can pull ourselves up behind the wheel. They told me it was full but I used it for 18 miles and filled it up with 4.5 gallons. I have driven tanks that get better millage!

Was given a vehicle that had dead battery after we arrived at home 15 miles away. Jumped it and charged it turned off wouldn't start. Spent 40 mins on hold road side ass. He assessed veh as not needing a battery but was starter or alternator. Spent 120 mins om hold with road size assist and we he came was the battery replaced and worked. Spent hrs on phone .

I have used this location a number of times, while living in the area a number of years. Anytime I went in, they are eager and happy to assist in any way possible. It has the after hour drop off location, so I did not see any one this time. I did receive my email the following day confirming the drop off.

The location was clean and they were all polite. However, I was given the wrong size truck and wasn't aware that it was wrong until I was home and it was to late. I called customer service and they checked with the location. They relayed to me that a women from that location said I agreed to the smaller truck. I did not agree to that and there wasn't a women working at the time. I had a friend with me that verified that they did not let me know that the smaller truck was the only one available. A supervisor from customer service offered me 50.00 toward my bill which made things better. I would still use Uhaul as it is a great company.

Too many hidden fees, put extra gas in truck and was told no refunds. A sticker in the back of the truck says save $25 by sweeping and returning the truck clean. It just saves you from an outrageous fee. Truck is advertised for $19.95 I drove it less than 50 miles and they charged me over $65 dollars?? I even put extra gas in it. They don’t even do military discount, seeing as how they wouldn’t even be able to have a business if it weren’t for our countries military men and women. I won’t this U-Haul location again, I may not use U-Haul again period.

I am a CDL driver and am attentive to pre-trip inspections. The rear (dual) tires were in horrible condition and not safe for highway travel. The truck was pretty beat up overall. I spoke with the store this morning because the gas cap at somehow been cross threaded and I was unable to top off the tank. I spent 45 minutes at the service station trying to remove this because I didn't want to be charged the $6 per gallon for fuel. I tried to use channel locks and other tools at my disposal which produced negative results. A guy at the service station who was also trying to help me said that this U Haul location had a reputation for such "issues". I want to believe that this was just something they didn't catch, but after that statement I am not sure what to believe. This truck was really in poor condition. I rent on a regular basis from U Haul, usually at 77/Metcalf in Overland Park. Very disappointed. I do feel some sort of an adjustment on my invoice is reasonable.

I filled gas tank above level that it was when I picked truck up. Somebody doesn't know the difference between 3/8 and 3/4. I'm being charged for gas that I put in truck. Your customer service is horrible and I will never use uhaul again.

The 1st person I reserved my Uhaul with was very pleasing. He was very helpful and helped me understand a lot because it was my 1st time every renting. When I picked up my Uhaul it was a different person at the desk and he needs a lot of help with his customer service skills!!! He was very short with answers when I had questions. I felt as if he was just trying to rush and get over with it. I wouldn't ever want to deal with him again.

All the staff at the Noland Rd location are personable, professional and very helpful. I have rented equipment and vehicles there many times and I've never had a negative experience. R. J. found an item left in the truck and promptly called me to let me know. I would not hesitate to tell friends and family about renting from this excellent U-Haul location. Great representatives. Customers should be able to use the dolly in the back of the truck at no extra cost but if there is damage to the dolly while in use or it is missing then I can see charging fees for dolly use and the same should go for the moving blankets aswell

The employee I dealt with made derogatory remarks to and about his co worker, as well as numerous excuses as to why he was unable to use the computer effectively. Not a very professional atmosphere, and unpleasant to be in. He also complained that I didn't have a local phone number (2019!), and called my wife to see if I was telling the truth. If I didn't need to rent in a rush, I would have walked out.

The truck I was assigned had a very bad wheel alignment problem. It's usually a pretty smooth ride when I rent from you guy's, but that truck had me nervous driving because I was constantly having to correct the wheel. Scary when your in where there is lots of traffic or narrow ways. Usually pretty good, not this time. Sorry.

The packer YN? put a valued gift from by brother at the bottom of the "Dish pack box" and it got a leg broken off. Also, when the movers unpacked the wardrobe boxes, they over stuffed my hall clost, causing the crossbar to warp and bend into an unusable state. But, there is no way to send pictures here. So, I will go to another way.

He was friendly, knowledgeable, and maintained that attitude the entire time, even going above and beyond when we discovered an issue with my vehicle. The LOCATION was fine. They’ve been there for years. The truck was NOT fine. I’ve driven several rental trucks. This one delivered the WORST gas mileage and offered the least quality of features, ride, comfort. This is a 2017 vehicle - NO cruise, NO clock, HORRIBLE driving position, and feet position was even worse than driving position. Combined with no cruise made my 700 mile trip the most difficult trip in 40 years of driving 3 million miles. Finally, my truck was barely half full, yet this truck got a whopping 9.5 MPG over 700 miles — costing me greatly on fuel. The transmission did not shift properly or consistently, making travel borderline UNSAFE! I’m shocked this vehicle was allowed to be rented. If I’m paying for a rental, Uhaul has a responsibility to deliver a quality product. YOU FAILED!!! Uhaul promotes themselves as easy for consumers and driver-friendly products. THIS IS FALSE ADVERTISING!!! Add to it only average pricing. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE! I can never recommend.

Only thing that might be helpful to customers is remember to bring a pad lock for the trailer door Then you can lock it up if you have to stay in a hotel?? Otherwise the 5x8 enclosed trailer kept things dry on our rainy drive home. We will definitely use UHaul again if needed.

The WORST experience I have had. Rude employees. The elderly Caucasian man running the lot was an absolute terror. Would not let us ask questions upon returning the truck, kept talking over us, told him we wanted to pay some cash then the rest on the card to avoid overdrafting my account, ran it anyway saying he would see if it went through and if it didn’t there would be problems. Then walked away when I started to ask him what the payment was and what my card was going to be charged. I will not be returning and will be telling others to avoid this place as well.

He was really busy and there were other customers that were mad about a trailor hitch or something. It isn't the same white haired man anymore but the man that was working the counter was really doing a great job. I had great results from inside and outside the building and with the truck and on the phone.

Very difficult to call U-Haul by phone, always busy. When I finally did get through, I ordered a hitch and set up an appointment to have it installed. When I went to the appointment I discovered that the person who took the order had used the wrong date (1-1-1901) and the hitch was never ordered. A new hitch was ordered and a new appointment set up. The car was dropped off around 9:00am for the install. When I went back at 7:00pm the car was still not done even though 2 people I talked to said it would be. The install was finally completed about 7:15pm. Store seemed to be very busy and they said they were short staffed so that may have contributed to the problem. Overall, not a great experience.

Well.when a customer has an appt to pick up and being told u may not get it because the previous customer was several hours late and"may arrive" just isn't ok. Also they were calling me an hour before I was to return the vehicle to get a eta but when I arrived at 1155 they just parked the truck .. like seriously I still had an hour and I spent that hour making sure I returned a clean and gassed up vehicle. Like I didn't need a reminder or told "hey a customer is waiting" well they can wait cuz I have till noon.??also uhaul shouldn't do upgrades to the computer system on Fridays and Saturdays. Do that shyt during the week when your not so busy. Just moronic business. Like uhaul may just use a different location in the future I know not every store is like that one. They need some new management in there,clean up that"good ol boy club". Ijs.

I placed a request online a few days prior, got in and picked up the truck with ease on the day of pickup. Frank who helped me was very polite and informative. When I tried to look at the truck condition photos that were texted to me (in place of an inspection walkthrough), the link expired before I could use it. When I dropped it off there were no hassles though, great experience and pricing!

My unit was infested with mice droppings! I had to get rid of most of my things!!! And hire someone to clean and sanitize my furniture!!!

The price increase over the 6 years was unacceptable. I'm a disabled Veteran and my mother was 90 years old when we rented your storage the price was around $119 a month and now it is $159.
