When I booked this reservation online, I was quoted $49,99 after taxes which included a hand dolly. I was charged $67,99 and was only allowed 4 and a half hours of time for the rental. The gas hand was at a half tank. I only added 10 miles to the odometer, used 5 hours and added gas above the half tank mark. Not such a great experience.

Ask for a discount due to the inconvenience I was told, "Oh this is U-Haul" whatever that meant and wasn't giving anything. No apology, no nothing. Makeisha M.I have mixed emotions about this experience, This location is not maintained at all, from the elevator not working, using the service elevator that got stuck on the 4th floor for over 20 plus minutes, the male staff (don't know his name) didn't make any effort to go let the elevator down, I had to walk up to the 4th floor to let it down. The door to stairs not working (needed to be kicked in), the gate for the drive in service not working, my storage unit was filthy, smelled like rotting food with stuff all over the floor. If someone holds the service elevator or don't close it properly , there's no way to get it up or down. just horrible. There was one staff there, a girl that I believe her customer service skill seemed above average, beside that the rest of the experience was a nightmare, I wasted about 1 hour on the elevator issue and trying to change unit, costing and additional $60 for the help I hired to help me move my stuff.

My arrive date was changed once by Uhaul, but neither I not the mover initiated that change. Items were still delivered on the earlier day, but there was some extra stress sit to the mid information provided from Uhaul.

I had a 26' truck reserved and when I went to get it, the location was closed. So I had to Uber to the Peters St. location where, instead of the 26' truck, I got a 15' truck and a trailer. The first truck I was given had no sideview mirrors. The 2nd truck had 38 miles until it was out of gas, but fine. It ended up not being large enough, so I am having to split this move into two trips.

Staff always thought it was taboo to use the stairs eventhough I informed them that it was a fire hazard. Trying to get someone on the phone to cancel the contract was impossible I was always transferred to the customer service and was told someone would call me back. The prices continued to go up since 2018. Very disappointed.

The employee offered to spray the rental as well as tried to convince me that it was "just a sensory light" and not to be concerned. I politely told him, "Sir, keep that story for somebody that would believe. the words coming out of your mouth." and proceeded to the counter to exchange the truck. Upon returning the truck I learned that I failed to use the APP to record the actual gas and mileage which was different from the agreement but I did take a picture before I left the store. This lack of using the app caused confusion and incorrect information to be provided by the store personnel. The personnel charged me for 75 miles but I only went as far as 8,1 miles. After much back and forth, assuming the employee checked the truck mileage that showed I did not have 75 miles recorded my mileage was adjusted to 8,1 miles based on my trip history. I would recommend this location but be sure to review your agreement to ensure your information is correct such as the equipment number, mileage, gas and etc.

I was also charged and EXTRA DAY and my SAFE MOVE charge increased upon return of the truck. I will be picking up another truck this weekend and will see if service and processes have been improved. I like the location because of location and staff has a good attitude.

We were refunded for what they apparently didn't have. Which was nice, but its literally the policy so if they didn't it would have been a fight. Why the items were not already picked out when we got there, I'm not sure, especially when we ordered them 5 days before hand. With them looking at the paper we still didn't get all of our boxes or bubble wrap.The associates were not friendly. They just shoved a cart at us and said you can take this with your stuff. We were not helped to the car in anyway. I expected that since we ordered over 20 items. People stood around and watched us struggle with putting items in the car and did not help whatsoever. Which I find highly rude and unacceptable when it comes to customer service. Our trailer was not installed with the best equipment for the car we were pulling the trailer with, so it proceeded to "whip" around the interstate. That was truly terrifying, but that's a whole other story. I will not be recommending UHaul to anyone. UHaul is a pain to work with and I will be using other resources from now on. The only thing admirable about UHaul is that they have great packing tape.

I did not receive a call regrading the cancellation and had just arrived from Washington, DC with movers waiting to clear the storage and deliver to her dorm. Staff was very sismiss after having used your storage space for three months. Seems like the culture your organization accepts is one where customers do not matter because people have to move things every day. I will not refer UHaul to anyone and will be writing a negative review on social media.

It was recommended to first visit the 300 Peters location to take care of it. We were able to confirm a trailer there and pay $247,68 with card ending 8692 for our reservation at the 300 Peters location. We had to get a locksmith because we entrusted the keys to a family member in Atlanta, however they misplaced the keys in the midst of relocating. This is no reflection on U-Haul. However, while waiting on this locksmith, U-Haul gave our trailer away at the location where we were waiting. It was also difficult to access a bathroom while the 11 of us were waiting. We had to request that they find somewhere nearby to get another trailer. We experienced another inconvenience getting the trailer at the other location & making sure the hitch fit. They were aware that when we left to get the trailer we were coming back because we had not finished moved everything out of the storage onto the dock. However, when we came back a quarter to 7 they had locked the office doors and we had to crawl underneath the storage gate to get to inside because my niece had not moved all her belongings out of the storage unit. They were telling us that they could not help us because they were closing and we could just come back tomorrow. We had to urge the manager to let us stay after closing to continue loading the things onto the U-Haul because we were leaving for Illinois in the morning. Overall, the entire experience was made more difficult than it had to be. The customer service was poor, there was no effort being put into providing helpful aid to us. It was very inconvenient seeing that we were traveling back to Illinois the very next morning.

There was some type of leak from the air condition now or wear whatever he caused issues when I was trying to move out it kept catching the wheels of the carts that they provide when I will roll something that's kind of big it always catches the wheels even when you pull up the blue little thing that they had down to catch the witness your items still caught some part of the yellow buckets. Other than that right there that was very inconvenient and what I feel does inconsiderate especially when you have folks moving out how to come up with a better job of catching whatever water whatever is it that they're having. The staff is always nice respectful and ready to help but that's part right down the fourth floor what a water leak that that bring your score down for me have a blessed day

The only reason I wouldn't recommend this location is that I know I did not like that I did not like not having 24 seven access to my things when it really mattered. Also I think there should be some sort of prorated refund. Because of me not being aware of the limited access slowed down me getting out of the unit before the start of the next billing cycle. Lesson learned to read the small print. I did see a sign that said ask for after hours access but that was not granted.

The only thing that I suggest is that just because we as customers have access to the facility with a key card still need to be checked for ID to know that the person that is going into the storage unit is the person name matches the information on the contract. Why it's a concern because all of my things was stolen out of my unit from a friend of the family that was living with me and I discovered all my things was stolen of my unit after I came to the facility after paying for a truck that I didn't need after hiring a locksmith to cut the lock off to discover my unit was empty which I lost all the way around money and all of my valuable possessions and renting a uhaul just if the person that I asked to open the door after the lock was broken then I wouldn't had to pay for a truck at all but they insisted I had to have a truck to remove my things which I agreed because I didn't discovered I had no keypad until that day. Sorry I went long winded. Just be mindful to check the ID'S WHEN A RENTER IS MOVING OUT OF A UNIT TO MAKE SURE THAT IT MATCHES WHAT IS ON THE CONTRACT BECAUSE IF THAT HAD BEEN DONE IN THE BEGINNING IT'S NO WAY THAT ALL OF MY VALUABLE HEIRLOOMS WOULD HAVE BEEN STOLEN OUT OF MY UNIT AT ALL THIS IS MY BIGGEST CONCERN OVERALL I HOPE AND PRAY THAT YOU PUT THIS YOUR NUMBER #1 RULE HIGHLY MAJOR SUGGESTION INTO CONSIDERATION!!!.
