Driver side mirror was rusted in place making driving the unit difficult and unsafe. Whilst transporting furniture, it began to rain and the cabin of the truck started leaking and soaked our mover.

I used the unit for all of 2 weeks. In that 2 week period, 3 times the elevator had problems and didn't work. The last time was while moving out. My roommate got stuck on the elevator and fire department had to get her out. But we ended up being forced to leave the rest of our furniture as we were leaving the state that night and had no way to get the stuff without a working elevator. I moved out mid March and closed it all out with customer service. Now I'm still getting hassled for payment and late fees. Will NEVER USE U-HAUL AGAIN.

I had a unit here for almost 2 years and never had any issues! The staff was always friendly and helpful!! My things were always safe and I had whole 2 bedroom apartment in there that was never damaged. If I ever need storage services again, I will go here!

The lighting in both units I had for years never was resolved. In the past two years I did not feel SAFE AT ALL. The office hours of operation changed and started closing at 5pm instead of 7pm, And this was huge for me because I did not pay for 24 hour access! It has been extremely difficult to get access to anybody in the office, even with the new changed hours, and I was sick of it. I've seen people running a business out of their unit, but never said anything. Obvious drug deals taking place on the inside, and people sleeping in a storage. I do care about our homeless population, but this location has failed with safety and not being available during times posted on the door!. This is a violation of false advertisement. I will never rent with U-Haul storage again after this experience, And I feel I should've been compensated for never having lighting in my units for several years when they claimed there was an outage.

The lady working was not very friendly, would not check out the rental at the moment. They charged me for fuel and I returned it with more than I was given. I brought it back 2 days early because I kept getting text messages stating they need equipment at this location. I still got charged full rate.

I reserved a storage unit in advance to unload my truck after a long-distance move from several states away. I checked on and confirmed my reservation the morning of check-in even. I got to the facility and was informed that they didn't have any storage units available and I would need to go to a facility across town in the opposite direction of my new home. The gentleman that assisted me was polite, but the whole thing was absolutely ridiculous and poor form on Uhaul's part. I drove for 2 days and expected my unit to be available, it should have been. I still don't understand why I was able to reserve a unit that didn't exist or why Uhaul would sell the unit out from under me without letting me know.

The return location was not open for the return (it was after hours so this was expected) but there was no gate code given in advance and when I reached out to customer service, the code provided did not work. They could not get a code that worked and I had no where to park a 26ft truck overnight. The next day there was no one in the office when the office said it would I be open. It was inconvenient and disappointing.

I just want to say that my entire experience with Uhaul was very good. Each person I talked with from beginning to end was concerned about me being a satisfied customer. We did have a few things happen but they were taken care right away and we ended up having a move. Thanks so much for all your help.

The lady who receives you when you go to rent does not treat you well. In my case, I don't speak much English. I feel the indifference and mockery for not speaking English. In fact, this last time I rented the van, they overcharged me and I decided not to rent uhaul anymore because they have lousy customer service. I don't recommend it to anyone.

The only thing or complaint I have with U-Haul is the disrespect that we received from one of your employees I don't know his name he just is a very tall African-American man that was on duty on the 2nd between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. other than that my experience was very good and I will rent from U-Haul again either a truck or storage thank you have a blessed day.

We've noticed in the last year or so that the upkeep has not been the same. We always had to search for a cart and sometimes would not find one. The elevator buttons are missing. We had to use a key or pen to push the button. We have never liked how we have to get out of our car to use the code to open the gate. And we did not want to pay more for a remote to keep up with. We never saw any employees except for the day we cleaned our storage unit out. A guy with a cart was sure to tell us we could not leave a broken frame. We knew that, we had to set it down to bring our cart full down and get a broom.

The person on duty when I picked it up refused to help me because I was "white" (he was a black male). The keys were no place to be found as they weren't using the key lock box. I had a horrible time getting into the facility (locked gate) or leaving. Fortunately, another customer in a storage unit let me in and out with the truck after the black male finally gave me the keys and called me a "white idiot".

We lost the air conditioner half way to our destination in Florida. Not so good. Was hot that day. The truck was clean. Your made us go 10-15 minutes out of our way to pick up the truck at a different location then we booked.

Outstanding Staff. They need more money or at least a Christmas bonus. I observed them fix alot of problems for the customers on the phone when visiting the facility even when the customer is upset. They always try to resolve any problems before they get blown up. Ms. Jennings and Ms. Dumas Outstanding.

There is a rat in a box in the hallway and the smell is horrible. Someone needs to get it out or the smell will get into all of the items in the unit. Other than that the service is Great!

I dropped my vehicle off to receive a $1300 bill. I drove approximately 60 miles. This is insane. I've spoke with the manager Danielle and it's been a week and I am still waiting for this to be resolved. Poor mileage record keeping of this kind is not a way to handle business and no follow up after is even worse.

In the beginning there were flat bed carts to help move items. Several were available in the immediate area. Today, I spend 5-10 minutes hunting for one and usually cannot find one. I en up taking my own dolly. Office staff said they were all stolen or broken with no time frame to replace. Not a great ending.

I had the unit almost 1 year and asked several times to have the light in my unit fixed but it was never addressed! But with that said it was the cleanest storage facility I have ever used.

I was charged $20 dollars extra for turning in the truck before the time had expired.. The link that was sent to me had expired and would not let me in to returned the truck.. I was not informed that there was a time limit for the link. I was on hold with your customer service for over 35 minutes waiting to talk to someone . When I told them about my situation and that I had tried uhaul .com to turn the truck in . They still wanted me to try again instead of taking care of them problem . No uhaul .com would not let turn in the truck.. You should have a separate key pad with a code to type in at your location when returning trucks after closing hours and to record your return time.

Better truck maintenance. Had to make cross country trip with truck had 71000 miles on it with dry rot rear tires. Had to blowouts during trip, I feel haul puts customer in jeopardy with poorly maintained vehicles.

Danielle was AMAZING and sooo helpful. I just moved from IL and when I called uhaul to book everything they screwed up my storage reservation and had me booked at the wrong place. Danielle jumped right in to save the day. I couldn't be more appreciative. The people at the actual facilities are great. But when you call Uhaul to book anything it's usually a mess. I'm truly Thankful for Danielle as she was a true lifesaver for me.

I have had non-stop issues since the day I made the reservation until today when I returned the final item. From rude workers/staff, incorrect information, being told they didn't receive equipment after it was returned, scheduling two different locations (in sererate cities)at the same time on the same day for picking up different equipment, being told i couldnt return because they didnt expect it on that day, etc... is just SOME of what I've had to deal with in the past month since the reservation was made. It has been absolutely ridiculous!! Way too expensive for this type of hassle and amount of stress. Truck was in good shape and trailer worked well at least, however...again, way too expensive for this level of stress.

While the individual locations performed well, my experience of U-Haul as a corporation was entirely unacceptable. I received a phone call with less than 24 hours notice that the vehicle that I had reserved weeks in advance, a 15 foot truck, was unavailable. Instead, the only vehicle in my entire city was a 26 foot truck, a vehicle that I was entirely uncomfortable with operating in the tight confines of the city I was traveling to. After spending two hours on the phone, I had to spend three additional hours the day before my move driving to another city to acquire a vehicle smaller that the one I reserved. The fact that my reservation was not honored is not acceptable. The moving vehicle is the cornerstone of a major move, and to be told the day beforehand that it was unavailable threw my entire moving plan into chaos.

Storage Unit I reserved wasn't available. I had reserved a first floor none climate controlled unit only to find out after driving in from out of state that it wasn't available. I was told they only had a climate controlled unit which was obviously more expensive. The climate controlled unit wasn't really necessary for me but I really had no choice at that point. I appreciate that they give you the first month free but with all the issues with truck rental followed by the storage unit I reserved being unavailable I wouldn't recommend u-haul to anyone.

Staff is great...however, ratings inlclude conveniencey of facilities. It would be nice to be able to back the truck up to align with the outside storage for onloading/offloading. Instead it inconvenient others who may be trying to get to their storage.

We found the staff to be unfriendly and unhelpful in general. Over the years we limited our interactions because it usually led to disappointment. However, the lady working on Sunday when we checked out was especially rude and condescending. We are thankful to never have to go there again.

The storage facility in general was above average based on other storage units I've rented. And the office personnel were extremely professional and efficient. However, I would've liked more office hours, at least Mon -Sat. 9am to 5pm, primarily because of problems with entrance code.

The African-American woman that helped us that day went above and beyond our expectations. She unhooked the trailer for us so we could unload the Uhaul. She then helped hook it back up after we finished unloading. Then when I asked her to drive the vehicle and trailer to get it out of the facility…she did so willingly. She was so helpful. I hope you give her a raise…because she is an amazing employee for Uhaul. Thank you so much.

When I called the 800 number I was told that the parking space I reserved was enough room for 2 trucks. I then called the main office and spoke with a woman and she also confirmed the space was large enough for 2 trucks. When my drivers arrived the parking lot was crowded and difficult to maneuver and the space was barely enough to fit 1 truck. I called the main office again and was told the dimensions are misleading and the lot it too tight and they should really update their information. The reservation was cancelled and we were promised a refund.

Scott was nothing short of AMAZING! After a stressful quick move (thanks Coronavirus), we were sent to a couple different uhaul sites (very frustrating).
