Had to drive 20 + minutes to drop-off location, passing numerous other U-Haul facilities. Would be much more convenient to drop off at the nearest location. Also, was charged for 3 gallons of gas. I returned with 3/8, exactly as picked up but was charged anyway. No way 3 gallons is even going to budge the gauge needle on an 80 gallon tank. It's just milking a little extra $David H.

The truck was not cleaned properly before I rented it. The interior did not appear to have been cleaned or wiped down. The gas looked full when I did the online check out but as soon as I drove off it was a little below the full line.Chandra K.

The truck was really old, was scratched and beat up, had a piece of window trim missing and a loose piece of plastic in the door by the window. We were assured it would be fine and the window wouldn't fall out; it didn't fall out so all was well. Expected power windows and locks like a normal vehicle. The single working employee was extremely busy. We could hear another person in the back but they never came out to help nor answer any of the numerous phone calls. We found the staff to be unfriendly and unhelpful in general. Over the years we limited our interactions because it usually led to disappointment. The storage facility in general was above average based on other storage units I've rented. And the office personnel were extremely professional and efficient. The African-American woman that helped us that day went above and beyond our expectations. She unhooked the trailer for us so we could unload the Uhaul. She then helped hook it back up after we finished unloading. Then when I asked her to drive the vehicle and trailer to get it out of the facility…she did so willingly. She was so helpful. I rented a van online, the process is quick and easy. Picked up the van the next day and the check in was great. Danielle who was at the counter did an excellent job. I do have to say the van was a bit dirty in the back upon inspection. Before returning it, I did clean it out. But overall it a nice experience.Renee H.

I requested a dolly for my move and anticipated the dolly would be in the back of the truck only to find out that it wasn't when I arrived home. I did not come back to get it as I did not want to add anymore miles to my trip, I asked if it could be removed from my total and it never was. There were no instructions on the return of the truck, no one to let me in the gate, luckily someone was leaving so I was able to get in. Also the gas level was left on the most random spot on the gauge so it was difficult to make sure I replenished the proper amount of gas.Cassandra M.

Agent quickly told me to leave without checking mileage or gas tank level. then charged me over 38 $for gas. I believe I filled the tank to the level I needed to per the agreement. So I was overcharged.GEORGE B.
Actually provide the equipment being rented. The truck was correct and clean, but there was no dolly or furniture pads as ordered. I will never use the 24/7 pick up again. The location also has no parking to be able to pull in and for someone to park and drop off someone getting the needed truck and equipment.John K.

The truck was in fine condition. There was not a dolly on our truck when the woman at the desk assured us that there would be and that we would not have to double check. When we called the location back she continually left us on hold for over an hour. When we called back to ask not to put us on hold she hung up on us. The only reason I am rating it as average is there was a different woman at the desk when dropping off who was amazing.Larry H.

Well...I did a contact less rental since I am a high risk for covid 19 and was obligated to go inside the office to get the keys. I think contact less should be no contact at all.Soraya A B.

I made my reservation online for the location that is literally 50 feet from where I live. However, it was changed to a location 30 minutes away without anyone letting me know the reason or discussing the change, twice. I finally called and was able to get my rental for a different day and location. It turns out the vehicle was not available at the location I selected. However, the online system still allowed me to make the reservation. The new location chosen was Philips Highway and Emerson. The rental process was smooth. However, the return process was not. I waited in the cold (48 degrees) for an hour and half until the staff returned. I called the local number that transferred me to the main number. They were able to call the location manager who said she was on her way but did not show up after 20 minutes. So I called again and was told she said she was on the premise but in the storage. However, that was not true. She was not on the premise, which can be confirmed by their cameras. The sign on the door said they were out for lunch until 1:50. The location was supposed to be open until 5 pm. I arrived at 2:38 pm and the staff did not return until 3:53 pm. The manager expressed her irritation that I did not want to just leave the key in the drop box. She was clearly annoyed with me for being called while she was away from the premise. Her incessant use of the word Sweetie after every thing she says is unprofessional and comes across as condescending. After this experience, I am not sure I would use U-Haul again. I know I will not use this location.Vanetta T.
