To U-Haul: Do not promote the app until it is fully integrated with your front desk computer system. The van I tried to check out through the app was double booked by the front desk agent to a different customer! Additionally, keep a more up to date inventory list - multiple customers came in expecting to rent a van, but the location did not have any extra vans available. To other customers: I would recommend making a reservation at least a week in advance and going to the desk to talk to the agents to pick it up; the customer service representatives were excellent, and I appreciate all the hard work they did to fix the failures of the computer/ app system.

Reagan H.Upon my most recent rental. The store took 30 or more to find the keys to my 20' truck. Once keys was found the lock was broken. Truck needed a oil change and less than 30 % gas. I was told by associate I would be reduced in fees because of the inconvenience. I called the store upon the return time to only be on hold for a hour before someone assisting me. They transferred me to corporate and I was transferred over 12 times from billing to corporate to the store several times. Customer service had the store call me back however the associate who found the keys answered. Told me to return my vehicle by noon. And never given any direct assistance. And hung up. I will be calling corporate again. Moving is very timely and my time was waisted hope to not need this location sooner.

After three days of trying catch up with the manager who signed off on the overbilling me, she had the nerve to be mean and nasty about it when i finally met up with her. Just like her co-manager whom I met the day before both brushed me off as if 819,63 is a joke or something. Long story short they are saying they only giving me back153,09 when then ow me 486,77 AND NO I DID NOT GET AN APOLOGY. Currently waiting for customer services to call me back its a 40â€"50-minute wait.

I wrote that in the chat and it took forever until I got a response: "since you're there, you can ask them to help" I showed the local employees the one-line response, and they were like maybe you can find an "I cannot find this vehicle" button and use that to get a new vehicle. I showed them the app that I've already passed that step and I don't have that option anymore. They were like okay so you can wait because we're busy. I called the U-Haul phone number then because the chat was unresponsive. I was waiting for a customer service representative for a while until one of the local employees came and helped me to get a working vehicle.

I could barely see what was in my storage locker during the day and couldn't see anything at night. The ceiling broke apart over my locker a month into my storage and ruined half of the items in my storage locker. I was partially replaced a couple months later but it was a patch job. Rat's got into my locker and defecated everywhere (There was nothing edible in my locker but I believe the locker next to me had something in it). The solution to all of this was somebody throwing a tarp, bucket and ladder over the top of my locker. I am absolutely disgusted with my experience at this facility. I paid for a locker that was not serviceable and the result was half of my property getting covered in rat poop, dust and ceiling debris. I emailed the manager about this (And got no response). I also confronted employees and him in person but nothing was immediately done to help me. None of the employees/the manager were rude but nothing was done to help me. Am I a customer or is uhaul just collecting my money every month for a service that I am no be rendered!!!!

That may just be the way it is everywhere, but I'll never want to put my belongings in storage again. The first time I went to retrieve my things, there was a glue trap right in front of the door with a wriggling mouse stuck in the glue, which I then had to dispose of myself, and I couldn't even locate a garbage can, so I had to carry it downstairs in the elevator to the bathroom where I knew there was a garbage can. Maybe that's just the way it has to be, and I'll just never use self-storage again. But I do want you to relate to your employees that I am grateful for their assistance.

Although, they advertise 24-hour access to your things, but in my experience even the after-hours access door locks up at 10pm; therefore, making your access code useless. Another big issue my wife and I experienced was mice/rats. It is advertised that your stuff is safe from chemical treatments that the facility has done to "maintain" their pest problem. Out of one week of going to my unit to move our belongings to our new home, three of those days in a row I saw multiple mice run from unit to unit on the third floor. Now, I'm in the United States Army, I've dealt with much worse conditions before, but if you're going to advertise you are managing your pest problems, I expect them to be managed better than what I experienced. Because of this facility, my wife and I had to disinfect every single item in our unit and throw many things away. This facility also almost ruined our $2000 bed. Again, some staff were very friendly and helpful, but the facility itself needs to be better maintained. It was a nice secure place for our belongings for the two and a half weeks it was there, but never again will I come to this place, or recommend it to anyone else. I prefer not to have more of my belongings ruined by mice/rats.
