Not much to improve, the young man ( I forgot his name) at the counter was very helpful, on time , prompt and has a good personality. There was a regular customer there as well that apparently has good relations with him as well. He proves to be an asset to the location.

First my issue is that my pick up location was NOT even open at 7:30 my confirmed pick up time. So ended up going to a second location and dealing with checking in on my own and even finding the lock boxes. Why do you only give 1/4 tank of gas.........that will take you no where, so had to stop and fill up on my way home to loading location.

I rented from one location and when I received an email confirmation, they moved me to another location without telling me. they were very unorganized

The amount of homeless people living at the facility is ridiculous. The manager is well aware of people living there. Bladd does nothing about it. It's very dangerous to go to the storage when homeless people are watching you and checking what you have in your unit. The front desk was very unhelpful. When getting the unit, we specifically asked to register under the business name and get 24/7 access. Front desk registered the unit under the personal name, never provided 24/7 access, never provided a code to check in/check out. When we went to the reception to ask to correct this mistake, the lady said that she did not make the mistake and she is not going to fix it and we have to find the person who was registering our unit. It's all big mess. We were renting storages at the facility before and it's just going down. Every year is getting worse

The young kid that helped me load the vehicle on the trailer was extremely helpful and friendly. This is the best uHaul location I've ever use. This will be my new preference.

U-Haul sent me to three different locations after confirming my trailer and my bitch was there and it wasn't. I spent 3 1/2 hours trying to pick up a trailer that you guys confirmed and already said was available. It was a horrible experience.

The worst experience with UHaul. Uhaul required reservations for pick up & on arrival I was informed everything on the reservation was changed. There was no truck available & they sent me to a different location further than the place I was moving from causing a delay of about 1,5 hours of my move. The staff was argumentative, unpleasant, unprofessional, & even falling asleep while I was trying to finalize arrangements. Every detail of the reservation or contract was changed, incorrect, & caused more stress & agitation vs being reliable & consistent. Never again will use this service or recommend. Horrible experience.

After that the car was on the trailer, I notice that the front strap for the wheels was cut and to short. At this Time I wasn't able to fix the car on the trailer. They gave me a trailer with some strap in bad condition. So I want my money back! I have pictures of it to prove it.

Walked in and noticed one female talking to an employee….it appeared that the female talking was a customer but it was another employee. I was waiting around for 5-10 minutes until they acknowledged that I was there. They both continued to talk while handling my reservations…thought they were unprofessional. They were just there to make time pass by while taking their time to get me the vehicle. I won't be going to that location again.

I came into the location and made a reservation for a pickup truck and a trailer three days before I needed it. When I arrived to rent the truck they told me that didn't have what I reserved. This is very disappointing, they didn't even call me to let me know.

My reservation was canceled at the Margate location. The Pompano Beach/Sample Rd team went above and beyond to assist me. Their professionalism is unmatched.

Inside of windshield was not clean. Hard to see street signs at nighttime otherwise equipment was dependable and easy to operate.

The representative who assisted me really pushed the additional coverage for the trailer. While I understand, this is important, I should be able to judge whether or not I will need that type of insurance.

I was called an hour before my scheduled rental time and told they didn't have the vehicle available. I asked about the $50 rental guarantee and nobody at the location seemed to know or care about it. Although they did provide me a box truck as a replacement it was less convenient for my specific situation as I originally reserved a pickup truck.

I answered yes, I would recommend to a friend, but only if they do not have a schedule to meet. I made a reservation on line several days ahead of time for a utility trailer for 7:30 am. I arrived early. I had an appointment to pick up some items at 8:00 am nearby your facility with that trailer. There was one employee serving customers at the counter, and 4 people ahead of me in the line. I listened as each one was renting a truck or trailer without a reservation. I asked the employee if I could get my trailer and make my pick up on time since I had reserved way ahead of time. I was told no, wait in line. I finally left an hour later with my trailer missing my pick up and causing me much grief. I would really like to hear back from you and let me know if this is policy? How can a company make money with this business model? Why even make a reservation ahead of time? It did me no good.

I truly can pour tears from the ocean . But seriously, I've had a lot of difficulties times. & I must say . From management and staff truly truly worked with me multiple months didn't option my belongings so I can't say anything bad even if I wanted to it was the loyalty and the understanding that really drew me to almost built the family with U Haul so I wanna give everybody complement I would definitely definitely recommend multiple people to do business with U-Haul .

My unit flooded several times. I was assured the roof was fixed each time. I was also told I would be put on the list for another unit and it never happened. I am still waiting for the insurance claim to be processed. I have not heard anything back for months on the claims and my items being replaced or reimbursed. I feel I need to get a lawyer to be compensated for my claims. When I asked the status of my claims I was brushed aside. The entire experience is completely unacceptable. I kept records of the conversations with the staff and site manager. And after complaining the last time before moving out, I was told that I was offered another unit. When I showed my records to prove other wise I was not contacted back. I feel at this point I was neglected on purpose.

At the 2150 W Sample Road location I found the cleaning staff to very helpful and friendly. However the staff that worked the reservation desk left a lot to be desired…a lot less attitude and rudeness would have gone a long way. Plus the fact that I had reserved a truck well in advance only to not have it be available did not help matters.

We kept getting late charges on top of late charges. The first one was 15 % of the monthly bill. That is more than 150 per cent per animal. Then more late fees in the same month. We felt like we were being robbed. Plus most of your staff are bad at customer service. Adam was good but the rest need to be better at customer service and learn how to smile.

The staff made no effort to help me understand how to access the unit, enter the unit and use the key card. Total lack of interest from the moment I arrived. Do yourself a favor and find employees who are interested in assisting customers.

The only reason why I am not leaving a 5-star review is due to the first day upon bringing the U-Haul in for dropoff and to get a storage unit. When on my way to the location, I called ahead and made sure that a unit on the first floor was available. Upon arriving, I was told by the lady in the office that there weren't any units available on the first floor and that I would need to go to another location. After hearing this, and having gone to multiple locations before this one, I was both visibly and verbally upset. After some time had passed, magically she said a unit on the first floor was available and ready to move in. After everything was settled and ready to go, it was a breeze from that point on. My only question is, why say there aren't any units when there are units available?

I paid for a 15 ft long garage and it measured 14ft the 15th foot was outside of garage by over one foot. Front desk made it seem like I was lying saying they don't have 14 ft garages even after I offered for them to measure the unit them selves, also another employee said that's the way it is , was hung up on over the phone and only solution was a refund which I am still waiting for.
