The young lady working the reservation counter needed a course on customer service and/or human interaction, or maybe just a different job. On the other hand, Joshua was exceptional in his customer service efforts and more than compensated for her lack of interest in my reservation. Joshua needs to be groomed for promotion as he's who Uhaul should want dealing with its customers.
MIKE T.If I had not mentioned a reservation for the dollies I had RESERVED Joshua would've not said anything. When I realized that I had no dolly in the truck reserved I mentioned it to Joshua. His reply was we haven't had any dollies for a while and he had to give one to another location! Really? I did the reservation but wasn't given one. Then he said I could check if another UHAUL had one! So I was suppose to drive to another location to get one? Not cool! I was inconvenienced on a day that UHAUL was suppose to make it easy for me. Wasn't happy at all. I felt I was dismissed with an oh well!

When I got to where I was loading the truck, the furniture pads were not there. When I called( another 20 minutes on hold) I was told I could drive the truck back the 10 miles(20 round trip) and pick them up or they would take them off my bill. That was unacceptable to me. They should have brought them to me. It was their mistake. The place where I had my storage was a small uhaul dealer and had no pads to rent to me. She also said they should have brought them to me. When I got the truck loaded and returned to the dealer to have my car put on a car hauler and attached to my truck, it was another 30 minute wait. One of the most disappointing experiences I have had with uhaul.

I had to downgrade to a smaller unit and still was charged for the larger incorrect unit that I was given. Alarm also kept going off when i tried to access my unit. Overall it was just a bad experience

James W.The only issue I had was the UHaul truck was not at the designated pick up spot that I requested which I wasn't notified of until I got to the spot that I originally requested ! Instead, it was at a further away distance whereas I had to pay for more mileage. Also, the air conditioning didn't work on the truck.

Katherine H.Customer communication needs big improvement when it comes to answering phone calls. It was very difficult to get a hold of someone on site at this particular location. I would be put on hold for 30-50 minutes to ask a simple question. While the people working at this location would do their job; they did the bare minimum to help customers. It was impossible to talk to them on the phone. But when I showed up in person, they were sitting at the front desk on their cell phones. Nobody seemed to man the phones at this location. I tried to use U-Haul's online chat application, which was also only able to answer basic questions and would route me back to the 800 number on hand. The run-around with trying to get help was frustrating.

JAMES B.The right front wheel strap on the auto hauler was not properly installed and came loose during travel. We paid extra to have a UHAUL rep. load and secure the vehicle. This could have been a major catastrophic issue if the vehicle came off the trailer during transit.

alaa A.The rental van was ok but it consumes so much gas. I only traveled 24 miles and consumed more than a quarter of the tank. The van comes with a gauge that tells you that to stay within the “gas friendly†limit, however this seems to be just smoke and mirrors. I stayed within the green zone on the gauge, but still consumed so much. It was unacceptable especially with the gas prices we have now. Uhaul needs to invest in more fuel friendly vehicles to help customers save money and help stay ahead of the competition. If this doesn't change, I will not recommend or even use Uhaul to anyone.

Maria A.Better inspections needed on equipment before giving out as rental. Had several issues with trailer that didn't show themselves until I needed to use them. The drop down step was stuck and it ended up breaking my girlfirends hand because we got it unstuck. Couldn't open door if we didn't. Trailer brakes didn't work and the trailer always jolted forward when I stopped. Had some kind of rattling above 50 like something wasn't promptly aligned or bent. Also only had one axle chain for under the car which was barely long enough and I used it on a sedan. One or two things I can understand but when the main features of the trailer don't work, it leaves a bitter taste in my mouth in regards to future rentals.

John L.I reserved in Oviedo @ 8:30 a.m. It was changed without notifying me to Winter Park @ 7:00. At 7:56, I received a rude voicemail from Jonathan, saying I needed to call back within 5 minutes if I still wanted the truck. I called, he was dismissive. When I arrived, the dollies I reserved online were not available. Instead, I had to spend an additional $90 to buy my own, because U-Haul or the people at this location cannot do their job. At the end of the day, when returning the truck, I forgot to refill the gas tank prior to returning. Because I was so tired, I checked to see how much it would be to have U-Haul refill - I have a screenshot that says $15. But, no. I was instead charged $33. Had the inadequate website that allowed me to reserve two dollies when you did not have them told me the charge would be $33, I would have purchased the gas myself. Horrible.

Kyle B.I placed my order for a U-Haul truck 3 weeks prior to my pickup date my order included a furniture dolly hand truck when I arrived I was told that they had no furniture dollies and no hand trucks available at any location within 50 Mi of the location this was unacceptable due to the fact that he's moving three bedrooms worth a furniture as a result I purchased a $49 hand truck at the facility as I left the facility and drove to my apartment apparently the door Miss function and the hand truck fell out of the empty truck onto the road and I was unable to retrieve it I then returned to the location and purchase a $70 hand truck what should I use for my move this is completely unacceptable costing me over $100 to purchase items I did not need and all I was doing was renting to items of assistance for less than $25 I do expect some compensation for my Misfortune and I will be writing to the president of U-Haul next week if I don't receive some immediate action

Haris S.You've charged my credit card twice! Once for the 242 dollar amount when the truck was returned Wednesday. Now again god morning, another charge of 242 which is ridiculous. The original pending charge of 295 was washed out as expected once the truck was checked in but now I have no pending transactions and Two completed charges of the 242 amount. That's unacceptable. The hold time to contact you is really bad but I'll keep trying. I really need one transaction refunded asap.
David M.We had a reservation to pick up a 10-foot moving truck at a gas station near our house. When we arrived, we were told they had no trucks available, even though I had reserved one several days before. They said there was nothing they could do. I remembered there was a regular UHaul location several miles down, and luckily they had a truck available. We ended up with a 15 footer because they had no 10-foot trucks available and even though it wasn't our fault, we had to pay the difference. Not thrilled with that part, or with the fact that we had made a reservation and then we showed up and they had no truck, but the second location was good.

Jean R.Reserved a cargo van for a 5:30pm pick up, spoke to an employee earlier in the day and confirmed there would one available. Once arriving at this location there was no cargo van, my only option was a 15'. Which is unfortunate for the other family waiting behind me who needed the truck I was getting when I didn't even need that size. I did get the 15' for the same price of the cargo van however the difference in how much it took for gas was more than the cargo van would of been. A phone call would of been another option, then we could of located a smaller option at a different location.

thomas G.Rented the trailer for 3 days. Had a flat on the trailer. Called roadside, they said it would be several hours and just drive it back to where rented. Got back to Uhaul at 4:45 and door was locked. With several customers outside trying to get in and do returns. Tapped on the door, a girl came out and With an attitude seemed annoyed said someone will come out to help. Had to knock on windows at 5:15 cause nobody came out. A guy finally came out and said he couldn't switch the trailer because it's after hours and the computers go down at 5pm, I told him I came at 4:45 and the door was locked. They could have switch if they didn't lock the doors before 5pm. Told me to come back the next day. Poor customer service, with attitudes. Very Very bad experience that challenged my schedule without a care in resolving an issue.

As Had another unit someplace else, and wanted to combine all units in to 1. All the Managers and staff have been so nice, friendly, and helpful so decided to move back home, and no longer need.

Or there would be nobody in the lobby and I stood there waiting for what felt like 10 minutes. There was a gentleman in the garage and another one in what sounded like the bathroom and I had to shout for service. I've walked out of the lobby several times because I got tired of waiting to ask a question about products available.

Trailers are parked in every spot, including handicap parking areas. They are understaffed at peak hours.. There should be a limit in how many rentals can be returned to the same location. This is a Uhaul issue, not just this location. Would not recommend to anyone.

She suggested this size and the size of my space is too small. I had to squeeze my things in the space and I really wish she didn't set me up for such a small storage unit.

I entrusted my possessions to the Uhaul storage on Semoran Blvd. in Orlando for a full year contained in a variety of storage systems (trunks, plastic bins, cardboard boxes, plastic bags, and suitcases). Upon move out, I did not find ONE bug or trace of pests while moving or unpacking. It was very impressive and I was gratefully pleased. Even upon doing the final sweep of the unit, there were zero traces of pests found. Amazing! Thank you for maintaining such clean and safe storage during my transition. I was able to transport and unload with confidence. The BEST storage location I have encountered to date over the span of multiple moves over the years.

I got lost and I'm a math and science teacher. Need to be more clear. Maybe you should highlight for customer and explain more in detailed. I felt rushed with the directions on how to navigate how to get to room. Suggestion #2- When you walk in initially there is a girl that does not check in or out. So she informs you someone will be with you. The wait for some one was to long. The first person that we see was Tiffany Bennett. She look super tired She didn't say hello, welcome. Her greeting was none existent. She was very unpleasant. I can understand her demeanor since she was outside in 100 degree weather. Anyway we deserve great customer service. The only reason she began to be nice is when she realizes we return van at wrong location and she didn't have to do any work. Either your employees are are over worked or they they hate their jobs

Z David C. | Expérience généraleExperience was fine--until on 8/18/2020 my credit card was charged $212,6 (an additional month's storage) two days AFTER the unit was emptied, cleaned out, and a face-to-face return to inventory completed at the front office. Today is 8/24/2020 and yet, after a second face-to-face office visit, I'm still waiting for a full credit/charge back to my card--a process that takes less than 5 minutes. A billing error is understandable, but failure to provide a prompt refund is intolerable. Forcing me to become an unwilling money lender turned what would have been a 5* rating into 2*.

We have been a storage (4 units) and truck renter (will continue) for 4 years! You could have a better team. As a business owner I would use their facility as a training ground for potential managers. 6 Stars!
