I was met by an employee as we drove in, she loved the equipment quickly, even detached the trailer her self and returned it to it's spot. She was so quick so efficient, we were in and out in 5 minutes. I did not get her name but just top notch service on this end!

Cliff was not only a nice guy but also did a fantastic job installing some wiring . The other fellow at the front - (perhaps the manager ) is equally great.

Left my credit card in the machine by mistake and didn't realize until I got to Kingston. I cancelled the card, but there is a bunch of pending transactions on that same day for stripe, eBay, vpn, etc... I don't know if the employee found the card in there, but in any event, I wont be going to that location ever again. Iroquois where I dropped it off was great as usual, Oshawa is where I left my credit card.

Self service trailer pick up FOR QUALIFIED RENTERS. I have 18 reservations for a motorcycle trailer this summer. Have some test or "permit" or some way to allow seasoned trailers users the ability.

Staff went over and above, would recommend going to this locaction for everything that u-haul has to offer. Staff was very friendly and quickly fixed the issue I had with wiring on my truck. Witch allowed me to get my work done for the day, Will always use these guys.

Reserved a 6x12 a week ago and had to pickup a much smaller since they changed my reservation on their end. Very unreliable. I have it booked again next week, lets see if it downgrades again. So disappointed

Although I had a reservation, we went through the whole process at the desk. The app should ask for all of the pertinent information and the clerk should be confirming I am who I am.

The ladies I dealt with when I picked up were amazing. When I went to drop it off the guy that was working out in the yard told me he was going to charge me a cleaning fee for a couple of twigs and he wasn't very polite about it either.

Although I said yes to clean and maintained, my opinion that it could have been swept out due to debris from previous renters. I swept it out so my furniture had a clean floor. Over all…employees were great to talk to and a good experience.

Make the barcode needed to scan for after hours drop offs easier to locate it wasn't easy to find and wasn't obvious enough. It would be nice to see something larger explaining to scan this barcode for after hour drop offs. It was on the size of a postcard and after searching quite awhile I found it. Otherwise everything went great! Merci

Guy on the lot taking in the returns does not seem to be a happy person. I can count on my two hands with fingers left over the number of times I have towed a trailer, so I am not very good in backing them up. The last time, there was a young man there who was very understanding and backed it up for me. This guy said "well, give it your best shot buddy". So I did, got it somewhat near where it should go. Without a word, he unhooked it and just said "you're good". I've had good experience with this location so I will consider this a one off. We all have our bad days.

Customer service is a joke!! Spent e LENGTHLY amount of time filling out the online information, placing date for pick up and everything, just to show up at store, wait 30 minutes in line(that's ridiculous) then find out i have to download an app and set everything up thru there!! Why the hell do you have employees behind the desk if the customer has to do all the work!! Better to have robots working behind the counter!! Very awful customer service experience!!!

Customer service is poor. Staff refused to smile and were dishing out unclear instructions to clients. Despite many parking spaces, I wasn't allowed to park on the premises even at the spot where I picked the van. There is a need to train those guys on good customer service etiquette.

I wouldn't recommend anyone to use UHAUL, charging a $20 convenience fee for dropping something off after hours is a joke, it's just a cash grab. I'd also like to mention the cost to rent a car dolly is also very pricey given I could rent a van for less money. For the next time I've made a few calls and found one for half the money.

Customer rep didn't want to help and suggested we do the mobile app.. took ten times longer than if she just helped us out. They park the trucks too close in the lot. Charge way too much for mileage. Do better as a company and with your standards.

Some parts of the ceiling's insulation was damaged. Hopefully it will not affect the contents that we put inside. This is our first time using a storage and maybe it's just normal that there's no lights? Thank you for the 1 month free promo..We hope to keep it for 6 months...

One of the very best UHAUL in Durham facility I've ever rent I would recommend hundred percent to anybody who is looking to store their stuff. The staff here are great. They will assist you in every way they can to help expedite the process. The manager Victoria she's really great and helpful withe a smile. in fact when I needed to access after hours and I don't have the code right, they put me to an on call Manager on-call and Vic assist me in a quick response to get my storage. The thing also i like about this facility is there's no elevator waiting time, sonyoundont have to waste time going up and down. and also there is a like a courtesy cart that you can use to move your stuff. Everyone was helpful! My only complaint is the unit doors need replaced! Very hard to open and close. The door to the inside unit needs a better door jam(?) You needed to add something to keep the door open.

The entire place was packed with men (5) waiting in line . I was the only female . The customer service rep was extremely nice to the man ahead of me , answering all of his questions and spending lots of time . Once I got to the front , he was so rude and short and just telling me where to sign and not caring about anything I asked . I felt rushed and brushed off and it annoyed me so much . As a women , I still have the same needs !!! The drop off was way better , nicer women greeted me and man took my van to end the transaction

The storage unit was great for accessibility when needed and was a good price for something that was needed quickly. The only thing was there was no light for the particular unit I rented so was a little difficult to see inside the rented storage unit. But for the price and wonderful help from staff it was definitely worth it. Thank you so much, a life was saved.

Arrived after hours so no option to speak to anyone, so had to do this all through the mobile check in. No lock with the unit, though I was told there was one. Luckily I brought my lock from my other storage unit so it worked out nicely. Would have been a huge pain if I didn't bring my lock. When returning the truck we almost dropped the keys in the key drop without reading the notice above the key drop, asking us to take pictures of the truck. There was no light on this area so we almost missed this VERY important/required step of the truck return process (this was about 11PM, so very dark). Please install a light so we can see this signage before keys are accidentally dropped.

I use the storage unit for 6 years. In all that time I had only issues in the beginning with my automatic payment. It did take some time but they were resolved because of the diligence of the staff there. I did not choose to pay the extra fee to access my unit after 5 p.m. I felt the fees were high enough that that should be included. Like I said staff was great head office mediocre. I would recommend this storage site Thank you

I had to through away a lot of my things because there was evidence that there was rats in my storage unit. I have pictures. I reported it to the staff Saturday March 19th, 2022. And no one has contacted me about it at all. I need to be re-embursed for all the stuff that I've lost. For a company that's been around so long and that is so popular, I expected better.

Inside the storage there is no light, it is difficult to see what is inside

I make a reservation two weeks in advance for a 26 foot truck. They didn't have any 26 foot so I ended up with a 20 ft that I got from Whitby. I am moving out of a 5 bedroom house and that was very inconvenient as we have to make multiple trips which takes longer. On top of that I rented a storage and was denied access at mins after 7pm. I called customer service they can't help. I got the managers number no answer. I am still stuck at m house with the truck full of my stuff because no access to the storage that I paid for.very disappointed   and I have to close the deal on my house today November 1st at 11:30, still stuck with a truck load in the driveway and I am not finish moving my stuff because of this. Big blow to my head I'm very stress . Thanks uhaul for bringing my stress level up.

Very friendly, helpful staff. It was a pleasant experience!! Natalie was very helpful. Unloaded my truck and trailer by myself, I was exhausted at the end and needed assistance with my 55' TV. She didn't hesitate and helped me! I was so grateful for her help. She was friendly and gave me excellent customer service, along with the other gentleman who helped unhitch my trailer and inspect the truck. The Taunton rd location is a very clean, organized, friendly, team oriented place!! Very pleased with the overall experience!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Unhappy with the Storage unit access system, Payed extra to access my storage 24/7 but still wouldn't let me get to my storage after hours, Happened twice and had traveled from over 250kms away to access the storage with rental vans but with no help from either the customer service nor the manager, I was given a 50$ gift card which is nothing compared to my loss for renting the vans and the inconvenience of travel. THERE IS NO AFTER HOUR SERVICE.

I called this location prior to booking the storage unit to confirm that I would qualify for the first month free and was told I would if I presented a reservation number for my uhaul truck rental. I also called the Ajax location prior to, as that one was closer to me, but they confirmed they aren't running this promotion so I booked with this location instead. When I showed up at the counter to check-in I was declined the one month free and was told to pay the first month immediately. I had no choice as I was paying movers by the hour and we had already showed up at the location! So I paid but I will be putting in a complaint with head office and the better business bureau. Also, upon moving into the storage facility, I witnessed another storage unit owner going through their unit and laughing as a mouse ran out of one of the boxes. The storage unit was packed with junk so it comes as no surprise it would be harbouring rodents! The staff and condition of this uhaul storage facility are one in the same - below average!

The lock was not in the unit as the instructions noted, but I made a quick trip to the office and the associate there was happy to help. All around, the service was quick and the associate was very courteous.

I booked on line and got the confirmation number as well for 15 x 10 x 8 storage starting January 1st 2021 but when I went on January 2nd to move my items, girl at the desk said that it's not available and offered me 10 x 10 x 8 and she said that is the only available. There was no other choice for me and had to store some of my items in my friends grage. Very disappointed.

Very expensive compared to other places. Only took it for the free month plus the fact all the other places were closed for the holiday weekend. It was also convenient as I had to return the truck. This was the worse uhaul service I have ever received being a long time valued Uhaul customer. Brendon the staff at Oshawa location was not helpful but extremely rude. Even after having reserved a 10x15 storage at Oshawa location two weeks in advance of Apr 16, 2020, the Oshawa location did not have a unit. I had to go back and forth 1,5 hours due to Brandons incompetency. Furthermore, he insulted us in front of the other customers and kicked us out of the store. I will be escalating this to the top of Uhaul and cbc news channel. Additionally, this is the last time I'm doing business with Uhaul. I'll be also advising friends and family to not conduct business with any Uhaul location. Myself as a valued customer expects to be treated with respect but this was not the case especially at a time like this during the covid-19.

There were crack users and meth dealers in the halls, people sleeping by my unit. This place was terrifying and no security. The company (a guy who worked there even found it amusing) he laughed and said ya look at all the crackheads..... I'm shocked and disappointed by this. I will wait 2 weeks before sending my video viral for the world to see as well as my 50000 followers for items and places I review. I paid a lot of money for a unit I couldn't access. My unit was broken into despite being sold a lock that " no one could breach" When I was called to be informed of this break in, i was told that my unit door was open and the unit was empty, the caller said " I assume you or a member of your family has emptied the unit". I told him that was not the case; he was not helpful. Only later did I learn that my unit was not emptied by thieves.

I went four times to my 24/7 booked truck pick up witch took an hour an half to walk to did everything they told me to word for word and each time said I failed thing colour thing witch I didn't bull!

DO NOT RENT FROM TAUNTON RD!! Manager doesn't return calls (3 separate occasions) most employees have very bad attitudes and are rude. Will never use Uhaul again because of this location.
