Excellent customer service
Patrick C.I was charged for an appliance dolly of which they did not include. When I called to tell them that, they said they wouldn't charge me for it, yet they still did. When I called to change the time for picking up the van, they never actually changed the time for me. Basically just sloppy and careless. Van had terrible alignment and needs repairs. Shouldn't rent it out like that.

Eric S.Overall I was pleased. I had and issue with a vehicle. I was told to come back and swap out. That vehicle also had mechanical issues. I let the manager know. I was compensated for my inconvenience, I really appreciated that. And the team listened to my concerns!
devona B.Staff were nice. Car smelled like cigarette smoke. Only had 1/4 tank of gas to start. Not a great experience to start, but carried on. I returned it with a quarter tank as well, but the return agent rated the fullness one notch lower than quarter. This caused me to get charged $38 for two gallons of gas, nearly doubling the cost of the rental. Will not be doing this again.
Christopher G.The tire pressure light was on the entire rental period and staff stated that this just happens and is normal but it was very stressful to think about having a flat tire while moving on the interstate.

GERALDO R.I rented a box trailer 6x12. The person hooking it up for me checked the lights and said all was ok. A helper that day told me that the right side tail lights and the lower left tail light were not working. I mentioned this to the U-Haul person when I returned the trailer. He did not give me the impression that they cared and certainly did not act as if it were a big deal nor planned to fix it. Also, the rear door had a point where it would not slid easily. I rent trailers about 4 or 5 times a year. This is the first time for a trailer with this lack of proper functioning.

EVELYN Y.My disabled friend had bn working hard on unloading & got up early today to get the truck back in time. One Black female employee was going behind him and spraying Lysol, making fun of his noticeable body odor and obviously expecting others to join in. They didn't, but instead treated him with respect.. I realize this is subcultural, but it's also racist and rude. His money is as green as anybody else's, and he spent plenty. Other guys are to be commended for their attitude.

However, once I entered the storage unit, I saw leftover items from the previous renter. I did call the office to let them know that I'd pulled out all the leftover items. When I returned later that day to begin storing my items, the previous tenant's items were still outside the storage unit. Otherwise, this was a quick and easy experience. Merci.

I have never been to Illinois, and they refused to update it to the actual person renting it. Completely unprofessional. I feel bad for the person who was actually renting the unit, who probably never got a single notification.

Everyone else was great though so I was just unlucky I guess. My second visit was what should be expected however. Management was pleasant helpful and very professional so good job to that guy. The first guy really sucked though, he needs to work on it all or find something else to do.

The manager refused and started cussing at me. Telling me that he will continue to bill be until I find my key and get my stuff out. They now say I owe them $1500 in fees. WORST PLACE EVER!

Later in the day when the rush was over they had multiple people there working. Whenever I called I had to wait on hold extensive amount of time.. Staff was nice and courteous.
Dan M. | Expérience généraleIt wasn't explained that I had to take pitchers of the unit and go on line and dhow I was out of my unit. I then received an email telling me I needed to pay my rent Which I emailed back that I gave been out of my unit and turned in my key since September 23 as I knew the rent was due on the 24th, and I knew I could get a unit where my other things are for $40 vs $114. My unit for the $40 is a 5x10. So there was no way I was paying $114 for that tiny unit. I then got treating email to be assessed late fees on top of rent. Earlier I apparently went over on my miles was told when I returned the truck that I was good to go. Then I see where you took $40 extra besided the $31 I owed out of my checking account without notice, as I checked my emails at the time I seen you took the money out and there was none. I called and the manager said the would have it turned which it was about 10 business days later and after my automatic payments bounced due to the extra $40 that caused bounced check fees of $20 2x's and bounce check fees on my automatic payments. So taking this extra $40 ending up costing me an extra $80. So no I will only use you if I have to and nor recommend you to anyone.

Luckly they had one the next day. I also feel as if your storage is really high after the free 30 days I already rent a full storage unit over twice as big for $40 a month however they had no units available at this time hoping they do at the end of the 30 days or my divorce is final

dorothy l. | Expérience généraleThe only thing I was very upset with was when my girlfriend and I called the call center, we were told one thing and the prices were cheaper than what was posted when we went to purchase the storage unit. We were told there was a 7x5 storage locker and it was air controlled. We were quoted 75.00. When I got there the other uhaul facility was a mile away and with the coronavirus I did not want to be going everywhere. I purchased a 12x5 unit. For 109 a month. This part I was very upset because we were given different info. The employees at the uhaul were very professional and nice. I would like a response as I am very angry about the inconsistent pricing and info. Your call center gives out verses the actual information that is given out.
