As the location I used was excellent in service and product, I am very disappointed with Uhaul in a whole. It was cheaper to rent a car trailer from Peoria, Il. 61615, take it to Denver, Co. load a car, and drive back to Peoria, than it would have been to get a car trailer in Denver, Co. and drive it back to Peoria, Il. I spent 2 weeks trying to figure out the best scenario to go from Peoria, il to Denver, Co. back to Peoria, Il., for the best price. It was 3 times the cost to get the trailer needed from Denver, Co. vs taking a trailer from Peoria, Il to CO. back to Peoria, Il.....Your pricing is wrong and I will do everything in my power not to use Uhaul in the future if possible.MARK M.

Anthony was very curtious. I rented a truck and 30 minute later brought it back he only charged me $1 and the insurance and gas mileage me a discount on my next rental. He was very helpful but he is need of help desperatelySTACY B.
This facility is very busy, so plan on waiting--even if you've checked in on line. I arrived at my designated time, but a truck was not ready for me. They truck that was eventually assigned to me had over 109 000 miles on it, which is ok, but it was so loud that I couldn't use the radio...and it had very slow pick up. It got me where I was going so I'm assuming that it was maintained, but it was not as good as other rental trucks that i've used.Sister Anna F.

Facility needs more staff went there one day there was 1 person on their busiest day of the week how do we considerable amount of time just to ask a question. Later in the day when the rush was over they had multiple people there working. Whenever I called I had to wait on hold extensive amount of time.. Fuel tank capacity was recorded incorrectly (9/16 of a tank vs 7/16 actual), and I was charged for a utility dolly that was given to me by mistake. However, the staff was friendly and easy to work with, and I appreciate their professionalism.TYLER O.

It wasn't explained that I had to take pitchers of the unit and go on line and dhow I was out of my unit. I then received an email telling me I needed to pay my rent Which I emailed back that I gave been out of my unit and turned in my key since September 23 as I knew the rent was due on the 24th, and I knew I could get a unit where my other things are for $40 vs $114. My unit for the $40 is a 5x10. So there was no way I was paying $114 for that tiny unit. I then got treating email to be assessed late fees on top of rent. Earlier I apparently went over on my miles was told when I returned the truck that I was good to go. Then I see where you took $40 extra besided the $31 I owed out of my checking account without notice, as I checked my emails at the time I seen you took the money out and there was none. I called and the manager said the would have it turned which it was about 10 business days later and after my automatic payments bounced due to the extra $40 that caused bounced check fees of $20 2x's and bounce check fees on my automatic payments. So taking this extra $40 ending up costing me an extra $80. So no I will only use you if I have to and nor recommend you to anyone.KATHERINE J. | Expérience générale

I just want to say thank you to the General Manager, Anthony Razi for his excellent customer service and what an incredibly hard worker he is. Taking care of two lines of customers at the same time and with all the detail that went into the paperwork and information,plus answering phones he was extremely helpful, considerate and friendly. In this time of shortage in help, he is definitely a great person to have ! Much thanks !!Briana J.
Upon arriving at the main office, we were assisted with checking in for our storage unit rental. The person who worked with us was extremely friendly, engaging us in conversation, though he seemed a bit distracted, as he was talking with coworkers and took a phone call while assisting us. Upon finalizing checking in, we were provided with a map of the storage facility and simple swipe access instructions for how to access our specific unit. We were not informed, however, that access was limited to the hours of 5am-10pm, which would not have been an issue except for the fact that it was after 6pm and we had an entire truck to unload. We were still at the facility past 10pm as the movers who were helping us struggled to fit items in the elevator due to its size (it was a â€œnormalâ€ size as opposed to a service elevator that could fit much larger items). Because the facility was supposed to close at 10pm and we were still struggling to get everything into our unit, our swipe access was then denied, which prevented us from using the elevator to transport our remaining items from the truck to the storage unit. We contacted the after hours phone number for the local GM, Anthony Razi, who was the least helpful he could possibly be. Only answering after multiple calls and text messages, he told my wife (the one who contacted him) that we were â€œluckyâ€ he answered or we would have been stuck. He also proceeded to complain that we woke him up, despite the fact that his number was the one listed for after hours help. Given that we couldn't access the elevator to get to our unit, we still had many of our possessions in the hallway and public areas, so we expressed our concern and desire to get everything into the unit. Razi repeatedly told my wife and I (after she asked me to speak with him due to his rude approach) that access to the facility was only from 5am-10pm, to which we replied that we understood but were never informed and simply wanted to get everything into the unit. Once we were finally able to gain access to our unit again (after about 30 minutes on the phone with Razi), we were told we would only have one hour to finish everything (approximately 10:30pm at this point). This led to us and the movers (who stayed to help us finish, well beyond the time for which they were hired) literally running just trying to get our remaining items into the unit as fast as possible. This was undoubtedly the worst moving experience we have ever had, and much of it could have been avoided simply by informing us of time restrictions, as well as an improved customer service response from Razi.Alexander D.

I called the day before and the man said he would reserve a van for me and call me back. He never called me back nor make the reservation for the van. Luckly they had one the next day.
