Booked for 11am. I was called and told booking not ready till 1130 is that ok. Yes ok. Arrived and van was not ready. Ok I went to Tim's they said they would call . 1230 no call . I was put on hold twice. Drove to back. Stood to 1pm finally someone waited on me . Had to fill out all info again that I filled out on line. Three staff on shift for front desk. Bit only one manning it .Will you have it back at 3pm ? my original return. What I am 2hrs behind my order! No explanation no sorry for inconvenience. Final guy who waited on me young felt sorry for him. When I returned van in almost 1 hr ...maybe 1,5 hr later. At least guy at front desk let me just drop key off. Ok could have been day . But 2hrs behind no accommodation no apology. Usually a good location.Kelly P.

The location was sufficient. The truck was below a quarter tank of gas when given to me, which was not sufficient to get very far, and on return it was also at the same level, yet I was charged a fuel fee. The gauge looked the same to me. If the location wishes to have the amount exact - please lease the vehicle with a full tank and it is clear the level at which it will need to be returned, as is common practice in most vehicle rental locations. The truck was leased on a day after it had snowed, but the snow was not cleared from the vehicle, and now snow brush or scraper provided. Also, the wiper blade on the driver side is in very poor condition, so it was unable to wipe away the salt that kicked up from the road making visibility very poor in the middle of the day. Also there seemed little to no point in the online registration - even the attendant acknowledged it saved no time.Michael G.

I booked an appliance dolly with a 15ft truck. When picking up the truck they informed me that they had Givin out the dolly that I had booked for that afternoon. I had no other option but to then drive to another location 20 mins away, to pick one up. The sole reason for these rentals were to move a refrigerator. I then had to pay the extra fuel, Km charge and rental without any compensation. When returning the truck, the employee then said I had not filled the fuel up enough. I had put more in it than used. On the paperwork they gave me it said it was filled to a line that was not even an option on the truck. My only option was to dispute it before leaving. With all the setbacks with trying to arrange another dolly, time was very limited for me. I was very disappointed with my experience at uhaul. I'll definitely be looking for a different option in the futureMATT D.
Severely understaffed. I can understand why the staffs are not very helpful because there was literally one person working there! Mohammed Khan was the only employee working hard taking care of all customers while other staffs took break time all day long. I was disappointed with the customer service that I received when I came in to get my rental. The clerk was not that friendly, when he said something it was very hard to understand as he seemed to murmur his words. I was also given a truck in which was located in between other vehicles. This made it very difficult to get out as both mirrors were closed inwards. Equipment was great and was able to get my work done. Need better customer relations, greet customers with a good morning not just a blank stare not even any movement from their chair, it looked like they were glued on. I will try one more time renting from their but if I see the same interaction or lack of, I will go elsewhere.Carlos B.
Price jumped from quote by $50 for hitch install initially without explanation, when asked about it answer was "to replace bolts two bolts that broke" ...? booked appt Tues told me 1-2hrs hrs dropped off Friday at 10:45am , I called at 4pm to see if it was ready, waited on hold 30+ minutes for them to tell me its been ready they just havent called. Pretty disappointing really. Would not do it again.Myles D.

Poorly maintained facilities and inadequate equipment. Lack of proper cleaning inside the vehicle. Customer service needs more training. Instead of improving for the next customer focus on the customers you already messed up with in the first placealan P.

Keep the windshield clean (thank-you) on the slow machine. She was the best damn U-Haul that I'd ever seen. Thanks for employing real people with real stories that I can listen to on cassette. It's a rental truck joint and not the top suite at the Burj Khalifa (which I have never stayed at or been to) so I am not expecting anyone to kiss ass. Thanks for not kissing ass and using bullshit friendly talk. I needed to rent a truck and U-Haul rented me a truck. Thank-you to all your employees for being real people. The Slacker.Patrick D.

This location is having staffing difficulty, the weekend crew is inexperienced, immmature. They are not operating properly; renters do not get a walk around, or instructions to do so; I was instructed to bring it back with the same gas level, and not instructed to bring it back with the.gas at the level of the contract. And, for a van to be down by half a tank means you have a siphoning issue on this location. No need to follow up, but this should be fixed before the â€˜hard' boys get dramatic when it happens to them. No need to follow up because I'm going elsewhere. Yeah, that's right, I don't think this will get addressed at all.william M.

more staff needed, very long wait to be served or anything. The staff did the best they could and gave good service when they could finally help you between doing mechanical work and then be available at desk, only one staff member at desk to serve most of the time, took almost anhour just to rent the truck and go. Also gas indication was wrong, had to wait again to verify with the staff member, long wait since he was doing mechanics helanother customer, no one else available, waited 10 minutes just to say gas was far lower than indicated on contract. very frustrating, I think I should have given a lower rating above, but the staff worked hard under worst conditions of not enough staff.Rose M.

Called the extend the trailer for another day. I was told yes at 1:30. I loaded it to take one I More trip in the morning and at 7:00 pm when I get home I can am extremely rude phone call best ally yelling at me that they weren't able to extend my rental. And if I didn't have it back by 8:00 then next morning the there would be a huge fine. They were very rude to me and even when I went into the location the next day to review the information( I recorded the conversation so I could actually prove that I don't done everything I should have and they had made a mistake in case they fined me for the late return) but the man working just said he was going to call the police because I was recording the conversation. I have a corporate account with uhual and this is the second time a mix up like this has happened. I am fine with mistakes. But the threatening phone calls are upsetting. Especially when I believe I did everything needed to extend my rental. I was still charged for a full extra day even though I was yelled at on the phone 4 times (yes they called me 3 times nthe next morning to yell the same stuff at me even though I said I would have it back as soon as I could) I would have expected a refund of at least the third day from a company this big. It has upset me enough I'm considering closing my cooperate account and just buying my own truck and trailer.MACKENZIE F.

Oct 18/22 Price is different than quoted. You did not install the fuse. You did not shrink wrap the wire joints. The wire hangs down behind the rear wheel. The muffler now knocks against the hitch when engine is running. I have called 5 times leaving complete details twice with no return call. I want you to fix it but nobody will return my call.IAN D.

The person working at the front desk was not competent. From the moment we came in, he was asking every coworker how to do every step of what he was doing. He complained constantly. He didn't know the code for the dolly and asked a coworker who provided the code and then not even 30 seconds later, he forgot it and was asking my husband (the customer) if he knew the code. This happened more than once for the same code. At one point he didn't know the answer to another question he had so his response was â€œI'll just wait until someone comesâ€ - not even prompting the need to help. He was condescending and asked my 29 year old husband if the picture on his drivers license was him, even after saying we already completed the checkin and it was already in the system and went on about how annoying each step he had to complete was. He should not be working front desk and honestly, not be working at uhaul period. You could tell he annoyed his coworkers. At one point he got a text on his personal phone (his work phone was next to it) and stopped what he was doing so he could text back. At one point the manager was standing next to him and this employee asked for the brochure for after hour returns to which the manager replied â€œtake them outside and show them where the box isâ€ - after the transaction, he went to the door, didn't step outside, didn't show us where the truck was, didn't do a walk around, didn't show us where the box for the key was and said nothing and walked back inside. We had to ask another employee which truck was ours. He really needs to go. If I were a manager and had witnessed half of his behaviour today, I'd have let him go. Please reach out to me as there is more that can be added to these comments for clarity including an interaction we witnessed with this same employee prior to being â€œservedâ€.Jarrett Z.

I placed the reservation for pick up at another location. My online account confirmed the pick up for Big bear Market on Aberdeen. I walked there since it was in my neighborhood. But for some reason the reservation was for upper Wellington. This definitely was a huge pain for my day.Byron S.

Little more calmness from the customer service agent would be appreciated. When explaining about the u haul truck , being relaxed would give more positive vibe at the store. As the customer to pick the truck is not there to steal it explaining the procedure in a smiling face, calm and relaxed way would be nice. Overall everything was good, but except a smile will make it perfect. I know it was a busy day, but it was the choice of employees to work at Uhaul which means he need to overcome his stress .Abilash K.

Was given a hassle by a rude employee, threatening to charge me for two days. He was insistent on charging for 2 days because I was not checking in with the office, when I had spoke with the office several times during the day. When I brought it up to a second employee that I had spoken with all day, she verified to the first rude employee. Then dismissed my complaint as, "came from a job at Starbucks and was hyper from it." Would not recommend the Upper Wellington location.David B.

I took the van but when i went beck to give the van to uhaul store they inspect whole van and they told me to go home all good and nothing else. But after 3. 4. Hours they send me the email which mentioned that the handle damage and they charged me $184. Very poor and misguiding after checking the whole car how they can say handle damage. If there is any damage why they didn't showed me on the spot. They guys are making fucking lies and charging extra money without any damage at all. I never recommend uhaul to anyone because the legal charges was around $60 dallars but they charged me $184.Sudeep S.
I have complained several times about this location and here we go again, I had to wait in line as usual for more then 5 minutes, I'll worker was on the phone on hold, he could've multitasked and started getting a customer processed I voiced my opinion and the manager who was also working the counter, told me to leave the store and he would not deal with me if I would not be quiet and wait my turn. Am I not allowed to voice the obvious and discuss with others in line the same conclusion that this location is the worst, Unorganized, not enough staff, and the lineup is usually 8 deep and terrible attitude, What manager tells their customer to get out.Susan I.
