It was poor communication between traffic and the store. The only loser was the customer. A lot of finger pointing. The two gentleman in there was very polite, courteous and respectful. Traffic department is the area of true concern.BilAL J.

She also assigned me a vehicle that was boxed in, There were vehicles in front, back and on both side. She did not care that this was inconvenient and made no efforts to help me. The store and staff were wonderful. However when calling the store to let them know I was running a little late on returning a trailer the corporate people answered and advised me that if I was even 15 minutes late that I would be charged a full additional day of rental. While Mr. Ralph's customer service was impeccable, I believe I was unjustly charged for re-fueling the vehicle. Just prior to returning the pick-up, I refueled at Royal Farms (less than 1/2 away). I made certain the fuel needle was equivalent to it's position before pick's use. I guess I fell for the 'old floating needle trick'. SHAME ON YOU, U-HAUL. Only somewhat disappointing item was the separate location for van rental (pickup - drop off) and where I had to load my U-box container. Made for a slightly longer trip. Both locations are close by, however would have preferred 1 stop. Check in and check out was relatively quick and easy.James G.

This was a very strange indifferent but helpful interaction. The women that helped me couldn't find the keys for 10 mins. Once the keys were found she interacted with employees about personal and store related issues. Someone at this location is garbage and soon to be fired, that was the gist of the conversation heard openly and in public. The other young lady actually lotioned her feet while the 2 of them engaged in more unprofessional conversation. Neither seemed focused in customers, no one was rude but they weren't pleasant either, indifferent is the best way to describe it. Upon return the same young lady that assisted me earlier appears to be leaving but still engaged in a unprofessional way with the 2 employees in the facility concerning schedule and whether policy was followed. I wanted to pay cash but was told that the guy checking me in would run my card if I didn't tell how I wanted to pay. My previous e experiences with Uhaul is the truck is checked and then payment given inside of the facility. Not a big deal but this wasn't communicated to me by the woman that checked me out with the truck. Once again indifferent, the young man offered to reverse the charge., however miss foot lotion sitting on the steps on her phone at this point says she can't do it someone else has to do it....Once again indifferent. The men at this location were respectful pleasant and accommodating the women were going through the motions at best but mostly unprofessional. Mostly helpful but left without a good feeling now I'm feeling indifferent. Lotioning of your feet in public is disgusting, lotioning your feet at work is not only unprofessional but unhygienic esp in the times we live in considering covid. This place is infested with rats. I trusted my items to you all and now I have to get rid of thousands of dollars worth of items. I have to get someone to steri-clean my home and the items that I maybe able to keep. I will never use uhaul again. As a matter of fact I am report this site to the health department. The cashier highlighted on my contract the fuel level of the van I was assigned to use. When I got to the van the fuel was less than noted on my contract. I spoke with the guy out on the lot that was moving the vehicles & he Told me to take a picture of the fuel level & that When I returned that evening he would be there. He was not. The office was closed. I returned the van with more fuel in it than what was in there when I got it out of fear of being charged extra. When I have rented from uhaul in the past (this location included) the cashier/sales rep would usually go out to the vehicle with you & do a walk around to verify the mileage, fuel level & to Note any prior damages. This didn't happen. Has Uhaul moved away from this practice? If so this allows for your customers to be taken advantage of and increases your bad reviews. I most definitely will never use this location again & will Think twice before I rent from uhaul ever again.Elisa A.

Your worker Mr Ishmael nearly made me RECK my car by not tightening, and securing trailer. Just barely pass UHAUL down the street the trailer came off my car nearly causing an accident. Don't hijack customers into buying your insurance. It isn't needed by most of us, but you give no warning that proof of insurance is needed. So, we end up buying yours because it would be difficult to find proof at the moment of rental. This aspect of the rental really angered us!Ethel B.

my tour with you sucked! i went to get my stuff 2 times and was unable to not for nothing i did. i asked to be contacted when locks (i paid $15x 2 ea from your store that no one could open) to be removed but no one did until it was time to pay a month later. the lock was removed 2 days after i was there i could have been got my stuff if i knew. went to get my stuff again elevators down so i didnt get my stuff for another month. when i wanted to talk to the lady in charge she refuse to see me, i paid for 2 more month. no one told me when the locks was removed or when the elevators was down .i still had to pay for the uhaul trucks and labor out of my each time i was continuing trying to call them the entire time. your our reps was unable to get a response also. from where i stand your company owe me $400 back for 2 months of storage. i did put in a complaint during this period for what good that did. oh yea, then you put a lean on my property while i was in the store trying to get answers.Kenneth C.

I think the UHaul associates should double check over the gas in the vehicles before the customer has to check them out. I received a vehicle that stated I had at least a quarter tank of gas and it had 13 miles before empty once I checked it out. Stopping for gas immediately was an inconvenience but not the end of the world. Other than that I enjoy the location.Delico H.

I want to provide a shout-out to the employees at this U-Haul, as I always had exemplary customer service experiences, but with that being said, it does not change my experience with this storage facility. Firstly, there was a miscommunication about which storage unit was mine, and the person who gave me my unit gave be a unit which did not match the unit I was assigned in the computer. This led to future confusion and stress as I had paid my rent, but there was a lock on my unit door. I had to wait for 30-40 minutes for this issue to be resolved, and it caused me to not be able to access my unit that day. Additionally, there was a significant rodent problem within the unit that I had due to there being 2 mouse-sized holes which led to the units on either side of my unit. There was mouse poop crusted on top of my boxes, there was a significant amount of poop which was in each corner of the unit (where the holes to the other units were) and my kitchen box which had pots and pans in it was filled with at least 4 oz of mouse droppings and my belongings had been significantly damaged by the rodents chewing up my belongings and pooping on them. I had followed all directives to not store food, drink, perfume, hygiene items, scented candles, or cleaning supplies in my storage unit, and yet the mice still were in the unit. The woman who I had checked out of the unit with was incredibly kind and swept out the unit and cleaned the droppings up so that I would not have to, again, speaking to the customer service provided. But, based on the damages and miscommunication, I would never use this U-Haul facility again.Rebecca B. | Expérience générale
