I would suggest in the future making sure that when trailers are returned wiring harnesses are "accidentally" apprehended and left behind. We had an extender for our vehicle and the person who unhooked the trailer detached it from the truck instead of detaching the trailer itself. We did not realize this until having returned home.David M.

Terrible service at this location, walked into the office and no one was there, waited for about 20 minutes for someone to show up to ask about renting a unit. When someone showed up I asked to rent the smallest unit they had, was given a 5x10 unit and told it was $69 a month. No problem, paid for a month upfront. Went to the unit and fount that there was no lock in the unit like I was told and the roof was leaking. So I went back to the office and they moved me to an interior unit and told me not to worry about the $10 difference in the price, they would take care of it. Within 3 days of paying for the first month at the price I was given I started receiving emails stating that not only did I owe the $10 difference, but a $20 late fee. I went into the office 3 times to ask them to fix the account and remove their lock from my unit only to receive more emails and a notice of lien in the mail.Eand F. | Expérience générale

Don't like the new rental rules put in place. If I give my license to verify me at the counter I shouldn't also have to take a picture bc I don't know how yall are using those pictures of people faces. I don't like how I have to accept insurance rental coverage when you should ask if the person has their own insurance. There are better ways to go about making sure you all equipment doesn't get stolen or damaged.Harold T.

We had an AWFUL experience at the Sango Storage uHaul location and had to switch trucks at the Wilma Rudolph locations. The GM at this store went above and beyond to make up for the failure of the truck and poor communication at the other location. He and his staff were wonderful and extremely accommodating! I ordered a phone pick up. When I wanted to pick up it was changed to a personal pick up and I had to come back. Then my order was canceled since i.couldnt come back accactly 1 hour later. I didn't get the ordered blankets. The after hour return took forever because the cell connection on that location was slow, I guess everyone there uses ATT?? It would be helpful for other customers if wifi login is available to send all the required pictures !Beate B.

upon my initial arrival, seemed as if the staff was new as they were being shown how to do the move-in administrative tasks. got sent to the wrong entrance door and had to go back to the office; then when re-directed, went out to the correct door and was unable to open it, so went back to the office again and had my code supposedly "fixed"; went back to the door and still was unable to enter, so went back again to the office to complain. I was a bit upset having just driven 16,5 hours and having to repeatedly walk back to the office and wasn't as pleasant as I should have been, but the staff really needs to get their act together.JOSEPH M. | Premières impressions

The 26' truck I rented had over 199 000 miles on it. It sounded like it was falling apart. The engine was sputtering and the AC only worked once you got on the open highway, driving at higher speeds. It felt like it wasn't going to make it to its destination.John K.

I returned the fuel gauge one the full mark. I even have a photo to prove it. I only drove it less than 20 miles and they charged me over $7 and it was the next day. There isn't anyway 20 miles was 2 gallons of gas.Lane A.
1. Never reached out to notify me that the 26" foot that I requested wasn't available. Even after I prechecked online and the reservation was confirmed 5 days in advance saying it was. 2. The "fuel level" is a joke. They said the vehicle had 3/4 of a tank but when I opened the vehicle and started it it was well below 3/4. It was actually 5/8 of a tank. I filled the vehicle to 3/4 because I knew if I returned it at the actual level they would charge me. ( I took pictures at the lot to capture their mistake). They still ended up charging me for 2 gallons. What a joke of a store. I've used uhaul on several occasions and have never had an issue. I will never use the uhaul & storage located on Wilma Rudolph in Clarksville, TN ever again.Austin J.

The online check in site is incredibly slow. I think it took me almost 15 min to check in online which defeats the purpose. I reserved a storage unit two days prior to my move in date. The day of move in I assign to unit 52 which was occupied, I was then given unit 87 which was also occupied. After 2 hours I was sent to the Providence location and assigned unit 110 which was also occupied. I was finally given unit 402 but nearly fell and broke my hip because the floor was soaked with wax and bug spray according to the staff personnel. The worse thing about my experience is that I made my reservation for a unit that was priced at 64,99 and because the properties failed to update inventory I am now being charged 30 more . The unit that was trying to be offered to me was not cleaned out. The ceiling was falling out of it. Insulation was all over the unit. The person before me made an insurance claim and they still tried to give me the unit when I ask for a new unit, they said that one other was available. We went to go look at the unit and it was already locked and issued to somebody. The location of this U-Haul and storage is not the best. Overall, I had a good experience. However, there was a problem with rodents getting into the unit and damaging several items. The units need to be upgraded because the insulation falls into the contents of whatever is stored inside. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. The storage unit was horrible. My entire home was in a large unit and 75 % of everything I owned was rat-infested. I have had to throw away anything that was fabric. It literally had dead baby mice bodies in my children's box strings and clothing. I choose this unit thinking cause it was on Wilma in a busy part of town it would at least be pest and mice-free. IT WAS NOT!! I have left 2 messages for Management to call me back and have not yet heard from anyone. Were the rats traveled on the ceiling beams the insulation was coated in all my belongings 2in thick. I am out a very large amount of funds replacing all my mattresses lien, and clothing. I would recommend using only plastic totes to store anything here. The rats ate through all the boxes I had. I am truly heartbroken that I've had to replace everything while having to move this week. I would never recommend anyone placing their family items here at this unit.Amanda H. | Expérience générale

It was easy to rent a U-Haul it was easy to rent a storage for the free month however the prices that change based on the month of the year seems very sleazy and underhanded it's very wrong for you do that. Simply because of the way you price your equipment I will not be recommending it to anybody until it is fixed you need to have consistent prices throughout the year and that doesn't mean make everything more expensive throughout the year.
