Overall, being the second experience with U-haul, it was good.
Charles K.I didn't receive an email about my pick up location being changed and didn't find out until I got to the original location. When I arrived at the correct location, the truck was not located where it said it was supposed to be and I had to walk through the whole lot and look at every truck to find it.

I told them I needed the trucks for another few days as my home was not ready. They told me they would charge the card on file for the additional days at $20/day. They did not charge it through and I paid $40/day instead. Locations were fine. Uhual corporate did NOT follow through on what they said they would do.

Matthew C.Attendant wanted to finish a learning project at the computer before helping me. So I waited 5 minutes or so till this person decided they couldn't figure out their learning project so quickly. I could have been in the road a little faster instead of waiting. When I do yearly studies with tests or have something to correct on new systems I am learning and did something wrong. Their are certain times I can do these tasks or corrections. Serving customers would be something that came first. On down times is where learning and tests world be done.

Christopher T.I would like to file a formal complaint with management about staff at the 48th and Vine Street location in Lincoln Nebraska I came in to inquire about renting one of your U-Haul trucks last week what upon entering the store the staff was rude and dismissive one word answers saying no no no was very unhappy to be here Was extremely rude to a little old lady that was in front of me The atmosphere in which U-Haul was being represented that afternoon was completely unprofessional disrespectful and inappropriate I asked what the two male employees names that we're being extremely rude/hostile they would not give them to me: another employee female that was working said one of the names of the individuals was named Anton I eventually had to leave the store and go rent my U-Haul truck which they said they did not have from another U-Haul location and go back to that location to get the truck Because they did have the truck today said they did not have: The two male employees continued to be rude/hostile! I felt unconformable dropping the truck off back at that location And was charged $100 extra dollars for it! Im not very happy about that! If you would like to give me a call to the further discuss what happened my number is 402-617-2296 I am the owner of General exterior construction company I know how hard it is to find good help But on the same hand I know what it takes to promote a company and when employees act rude unprofessional like this something has to be done about it!!! beverly H.Figure out an easy way to measure that gas refilling. Like maybe a specific amount for the mileage put on or something. Not sure, but I put way more gas than I needed into it.
Jonah H.This regards the U-Haul Mobile App - not the location I visited: The check-in experience on the App sucks, in my opinion. The "Verification" steps could and should be offered to the customer in advance, not while they are already standing in the parking lot (Especially the reference/work/passport verification - If I KNEW you wanted a picture of it in advance I'd have brought it with me, or uploaded it ahead of time). Then, half of the pictures I took refused to upload. No real pattern to which screens let me upload and which would not, it was totally random. I expected the Mobile Check In to be quicker than talking to a person at the counter, but in total it took me 20 MINUTES to complete the check-in process, at which point...... I had to go inside to get the key from the counter anyways. In retrospect I wish I had done a standard counter check-in, because it has always been easy and fast to do it face-to-face. I like mobile apps in general, I am pro-making things self-serve when it makes sense, but in this case - the execution of it is lacking. Needs refinement. I would not use Mobile Check In again.

Pam C.Clean out the cupholders (there were fingernails in them) and make sure the ordered equipment is in the truck. I had ordered a dolly, but when I got to my apartment it was not in the back of the truck. I told an employee about it when I went to drop it off and they said they'd take it off but didn't do anything about it (which i found odd because I was having to pay already through the website). Lastly, the gas situation for a mobile pick up is bad. There was nowhere to mark the fuel level before so i had to trust that i wouldn't be charged extra when i dropped it off. I drove 28,5 miles and put $11 in gas into the U-Haul before bringing it back, but was still charges $3 for gas as if i hadn't. Not sure what that's all about.

Matthew T.The truck's steering badly needed servicing. When my son brought the truck back he was treated very rudely. One employee was standing drinking water and finally came and asked my son if he needed help. Tony told him he was returning a truck. Without saying a word the employee walked away from the counter area and into the garage. When he finally came back he completed the check in and tossed the receipt on the counter. By this time my son was irritated and told him to have a good f...g day. The employee called him a name as my son left. Now my son shouldn't have used the f word but the employees were rude and there is no excuse to call a customer a name. None! Very unprofessional to say the least. I won't be using this store again and not sure if I will ever rent from UHaul again.

Jerald K.I had two items. Auto hauler and truck. The staff was nice letting me drop off trailer before truck but since seperate contracts I don't know why they didn't check that in right away. Also why I didn't get receipts for 18hrs and 36hrs. Then I went back on Sunday to ask a question about the receipts because calling the number listed redirected to national hotline, So I get there at 455p and they are supposed to close at 5p and the door is already locked. I was very anxious about not having the items checked in right away and not having a receipt.

ANNTONI M. | Expérience généraleThere was never an account I was able to access in my name even though they confirmed that they created one, there were rats and feces everywhere in our storage unit and we had to throw half of our stuff out. When I told this to them they could care less and showed no emotion. And when I told them our drop off location for our rented trailer, they wrote down a completely different address in a different town. They were not helpful or friendly. It was so obvious that they were high every time I came into the store. I Strongly recommend drug testing and a considerable amount of employee training, or just get a completely new set of employees all together.

I have seen staff answer the phone and then put it on hold for very long times. They are helpful when they get to you. Very expensive. I would not use you again in the future.

The U-Haul truck wasn't available, yet many were sitting in the same spot before I left and returned. The unit wasn't cleaned out, needed to swipe and clean out before putting my product into the storage unit. No one in the location was wearing a mask, yet the city still hasn't adjusted the mask mandate. How does a customer feel when we don't know the status of everyone working at the location? No one offered an apology for the unit not being available and seemed to blame me for the issue of having two rental units reserved.
