The drop off was a nightmare. I went to multiple locations to drop Off the truck and trailer no one had room for it. So again additional fuel costs and extra mileage all the mistake of uhaul not me!! I should of been compensated for this mess!

The sales person was very nice and patient. But he needed help. There was so much going on. Phones ringing people coming in and to top that the computer froze on him. I felt so bad that I wanted to lend him a hand. This store needs to hire more people.

You lost my box and couldn’t give me the accurate location for weeks You refused to release the box to the movers I hired through your company Your support line was completely useless if finding my box, getting access to to, and setting up movers. In addition to that multiple boxes within my trailer were broken causing damage to the items within them including: a computer monitor, keyboard, and speaker system.

I reserved a rental a day prior. The next day, I woke up to a text message and voicemail stating that the location where I had reserved the trailer, did not have one in stock, so I had to go to a different location. I traveled through the ghetto to the next location. This location said I owed double the $ amount, and then said that they didn’t have the trailer available. I escalated to 1-800-GO-UHAUL and spoke with a manager, who said that the location had 2 trailers available. The General Manager at this location disagreed with them, trying to get me to pay double, as well as stating that there were no trailers available. The manager on customer service sent messages to the location, but the employees did not receive the messages, according to them. I was then instructed by the manager on customer service to go to ANOTHER location to pickup my trailer. I did so. Upon arrival, I was told that I did have the trailer available, and the hitch and furniture pads that I had requested, but the 4-way light connector was not available and that I should go to AutoZone to purchase it. The hitch, light connector, and furniture pads were reserved from the initial booking; however, the location did not have the light connector; one of the basic items that it sells for business. I went to AutoZone being told that they would know what I needed. They didn’t know what I needed. I bought one item, drove back to U-Haul, and was told that was incorrect and I should drive back and get a proper one. I went back to AutoZone and they sold me a different adapter. I drove back to U-Haul and they said that adapter was not the proper one. I was then told to drive back to the previous U-Haul location to pickup the adapter. I had the most unorganized, stressful experience with U-Haul. I do not recommend them whatsoever, at least in Philadelphia, PA. I wasted 2 hours and a half trying to get my equipment that I had contracted for the previous day, and therefore was late to my destination and could not complete moving steps I had planned. The General Manager and employees of the location in the ghetto did not know the pricing of the rental trailer or how the insurance pricing worked, but I did, just because I had made the reservation the day prior. I basically knew more about the operations and pricing of U-Haul than the employees and General Manager, and 1-800-GO-UHAUL was in agreement with me. STAY AWAY FROM 747 W ALLEGHENY AVE!!!! In the ghetto, minimally staffed with employees and managers who are undertrained and will confidently overcharge you if you let them, and will argue pricing when the pricing information is clearly stated on the signs above them and online!! UNBELIEVABLE!!!!

There was only one person working behind the counter when we were scheduled to pickup our truck. We had to wait in line for over 45 minutes to pick up our truck. This put us behind with our move.

Did not enter store. Service member who assisted me was friendly, efficient. The layout of the drop-off center was slightly confusing and cluttered, but overall, a good drop-off experience.

Some people were helpful and some were not. Also, the elevators are too slow for efficient storage. There was an issue with setting the alarm at 7pm which limited our ability to get back into the building close to 7pm and continue unloading our belongings into the storage facility. There were not enough customer service representatives to help us with unloading our belongings up on our assigned floors. It would be helpful if there were 24-hour access to the facility. There is no light inside the actual storage unit, this makes it more difficult to store items efficiently.

My experience with all of the employees was fine, but u-haul wasn't able to provide a rental at a location closer to my address or storage center, which led to me paying higher mileage fees and spending more on gas. Also there was a dashboard light left on that took a while to figure out how to turn off.
