Cycle out bad equipment! I reserved my uhaul months in advance online and was given the MacArthur road location for pickup. I arrived 15 minutes before my scheduled pickup time slot and an hour later was told it would take hours to fix the cargo trailer I reserved and that I had to go to another location for pickup. 2 hours later I finally got home. This is not the 1st time this has happened to me!!! One time I had to drive almost an hour away for pickup! This is not acceptable!! Get your shirt together uhaul! The only shining light in my ordeal was Evan at the Livingston location. He was polite, kind and respectful and I refuse to deal with anyone but him in the future.

Tracy pThe equipment was clean upon pick up. We drove through a rain storm on our trip to my mom's new residence. When we went to unload the truck her sofa and two of her mattresses and box springs were wet due to a leak in the truck. I contacted u-haul and placed a claim, but they state they do not cover water damage due to leaks per their rental policy. $10k spent on new furniture to replace damaged items. Nothing was mentioned about the truck having a leak.

The building was clean well by the staff but what happen after hours with people that didn't have units coming in distorting the only bathroom for renters to use, and late at night there were strange people lurking around inside the building and most likely sleeping in units, which wrecked it for us regular people that worked crazy long hours and could only get to our units late late night and paid extra for the 24 hour access

LUZ TIt was horrible to get into the building was not given the proper information about after the office was closed how much time you had to get your stuff in the storage I had to keep on extended the time to keep the truck cause it was not 24 hour rental and the return policy is a horrible idea and a mess to return never will i rent a truck for you ever again you better believe that thank you for all the confusion.

SCOTT NHi the process was very nice even though I reserved the truck and and car trailer and Dolly pickup there when I walked out an hr later they had me pick up the trailer Dolly 50minites away! Where I went to pickup the car Dolly they didn't really have all the information correctly where I had to drop it off in orlando and also couldn't figure out my family employee discount and didn't get the discount because she didn't know how to do it! so i got the full purchase in palmetto PA. Do to that I was charged $500 plus for her bad information! but the truck drop off information they gave me in allentown was correct.so I am fighting the refund from the trailer Dolly at this point for the bad information.
OVIDIO VDebra from customer service was phenomenal! Our rental was temporarily unavailable and she was able to find us a replacement and gave extraordinary thought and care to our concerns.

MITCHELL KThe employee who assisted us was excellent. However the teammates working with him did barely the minimum. They were standing out front talking to each other and had to be asked for help multiple times. One was supposed to assist with getting our truck - the truck was filthy. It had inside; dirty water under the driver's pedals, a cookie on the dash, a partially eaten sandwich between the driver's seat and middle, & a pair of glasses. It was covered in brown spilled liquid. Again, none of this was reflected on the employee who helped us. It was his teammates who were supposed to clean the truck and grab our equipment.
Katherine PMy reservation was literally useless. Could not rent one of the several small vans I seen in the yard that I was able to reserve online. I was also not able to take the large box truck I was forced to use to a different location like I needed to and was able to in my reservation. And ended up spending almost double what I wanted. Will never use u haul again

PATTABIRAMAN NI have rented from this location 3 times in the past year. In every case, both pick-up and drop-off was chaotic and disorganized. The staff has little training and doesnt seem interested in truly helping customers, and all complain about their own U-Haul software system that creates problems when trying to start/close a rental. Additionally, the U-Haul smart phone App for Android is among the worst I've used. Not sure how U-Haul, a national organization, is unable to deploy a user-friendly and bug-free App.

I call the main office and they put me on hold for 12 minutes in hung up and called back. Meanwhile a worker comes and locks the automatic door as well as the elevator and just leaves. At that point I realize they closed at 7. I had to move a washer and dryer up steps at this point. No one would answer my call which was about the elevator not working properly and then it gets locked from going To the ground floor which is outside.

Deana B | Expérience généralePosted hours are until 7pm, but I was never able to access after 5:30. There is a number to call in case of issues, I've never once gotten through or heard back after leaving a message. Supposed to get one month free, was refused multiple times, and they even raised my rent after the second inquiry. My unit was split, ¾ was nice hardwood and ¼ was up a step, raw concrete, metal mesh sticking out, and a huge concrete column right in the middle of the space with metal sticking out. Unit expected to be cleaned, but a simple broom and dustpan are not available. I was able to borrow a broom but had to use a gift bag as a dustpan. Also no trash cans on the entire floor to dump the dirt into. "Climate controlled" but CONSTANTLY above 80 degrees, takes forever to move heavy objects in that heat with no circulation. Elevator too small, provided carts barely fit door-to-door with not enough clearance to turn. Main level door is opposite of Mezz level, makes it very difficult to get in and out with a full cart since there isn't enough room to turn. Especially since the carts hinge in the middle instead of one side so they can't be easily turned around.

Tenants should be able to have 24 hour access to their storage and not have to struggle to get into a storage facility they pay monthly for. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Merci
