Very easy process
Harold FI thought Tony's customer engagement was non existent and he was quite rude to be honest. Although he thoroughly explained everything that needed to be known, he did so in such a curt, cold, and uncaring manner. Example> He asks, will 6 hours be enough time for you for this rental? I say. actually I only need it for 4 hours at the most. He says, So the answer is Yes, 6 hours will be enough. Trying to make small talk I say, I just need it to go pick up 25 two by fours from Home Depot and drop them off at my house, then I'll return the van. He says, I honestly don't care, I doesn't matter to me what you are using it for. Everyone always feels the need to give me their "life story" when it just doesn't matter to me. Not to be rude but I really don't care. It took more time for him to explain that he doesn't care to hear someones "life story" than it would have taken him to simply say "OK" or "Alright" in acknowledgement of what was said to him. In my opinion it takes a lot more exertion to act like he did than to simply be nice.
Jeremiah BI always elect this location because of its convenience and friendly, polite and courteous customer service. They are always trying their best to work with their customers to accommodate them and it shows and is greatly appreciated. Please put them in as 10 stars in a rating system where 5 stars are excellent!

Irkston J | Expérience généraleIf I rent from the main uhaul hub in my town, they require local phone numbers from many local acquaintences, credit cards (specifically), a letter from your 3rd grade teacher & a copy of your birth certificate. But if all that is too much of a hassle, you can rent from another location where they don't issue fuel credit unless your equipment was rented with less than a quarter of a tank...which means uhaul is not only committing highway robbery with their rates, but also actual theft (when you return the equipment with more fuel than it left with. I don't know who came up with the "1/4 tank rule", but that idiot has now made sure that I rent from penske from now on. Go fuck yourself uhaul, because yall ain't fuckin me ever again. Oh, the truck cargo bay was a mess, exterior was old & peeling/scraped up on all sides, and its interior stunk of stale cigarette smoke upon its issuance to me. And if you do not approve of this feedback then perhaps you should consider 3 things: first, what is almost a dollar per mile going towards (because it ain't upgrades nor repairs per the condition of the equipment), the stinking cubby-hole of an office smelled almost as bad as the truck nevermind the hassles of the process of reserving, and what kind of feedback did you expect after committing bold faced theft? Have you not seen the price of gas which is currently $.50 per gallon higher than 2 weeks ago? Luckily I only gave uhaul a free quarter of a tank. Had I brought it back full and gave uhaul 5/8ths (which they think they can steal anyway?!?); uhaul corporate would be cutting me a check. Once again: have fun fuckin yourselves and the other morons of the world because uhaul ain't fuckin me ever again (and I'll be renting Penske equipment for my next 3 truck rental needs occurring before the end of next month, so enjoy your free quarter tank - I hope it helps uhaul as much as uhaul helped me.)

Richard CWhy do you rent trucks to customers with 1/8th tank of gasoline. U-Haul charges customers for gas used and not replaced but apparently U-GHaul's policy is to never put gas in a truck to a certain level. I had to go to another location to get the requested appliance dolly and blankets. The location I used was out and not interested in finding if other locations had them.

Danny WI would recommend storage for short term. The facility was not kept clean. The last 3 visits, at least a week apart, I made the same trash was in the hallway. The 1st day I needed to get in the storage, I couldn't. I thought that was the purpose of the access card which I had but the rep didn't tell me there was an additional charge for extra hours. Also the late fees. Most late fees occur after 30 days. Uhaul charges them EVERY 15 days. People are already struggling and you nickel and dime them with fees.

The the roller carts were filthy. Absolutely unacceptable. I have never experienced this kind if fifth at any uhaul. It's like dam I'm putting my personal items ms on this cart to the 2nd floor. Disgusting

Michael M | Expérience généraleI fell behind on payments regularly and I get that's on me, not the facility, but every single time I did, I'd come in two weeks later and there was still a lock on my unit. The most recent incident being when I paid halfway through the month, came in the day before my due date, and there was still a lock on my unit. So I couldn't get moved out if I had wanted to (which I did because of this issue here exactly). The guy who helped me was nonchalant about it like I was bothering him to get the lock off my unit and it took two weeks for the manager to respond to my issues. She ended up giving me the month free starting the day she reached out to me, but she has been hard to reach the entire time I've been here with this U-Haul. The last time this had happened, not a single person was in the office for over 30 minutes and the manager wasn't answering calls to the number on her card in the office. You would think they'd have a checklist every day to insure all units that had been paid were accessible to their renters. Overall I would absolutely not recommend if you want guaranteed access to your belongings while you're caught up on payments.

Then when I got back to Florida where I reserved a storage unit on January 30th, it was NOT available and the clerk couldn't find it on his computer even though I had a copy on my phone that UHAUL sent to me to verify it. I had to go to another Uhaul storage unit to unload. And I couldn't drop off the truck at the location where I have storage. Everything from the beginning was screwed up and caused me time and piney when the movers came to unload the truck. Uhaul is horrible. And I will post it on FB for everyone to know how terrible and unorganized Uhaul is. I will NEVER use Uhaul again.

Also there are pipes and locks that come into that area too when you're trying to move pallets so its even worse. So it might be fine for residential items but pallets are pretty much a No go. Office always very helpful and friendly.
Robert H | Expérience généraleI recently took over my deceased husband unit in September 6, 2021 and I was told the unit was already in default only because he passed away on Aug 24th. My unit was empty with the exception of a chest drawer, all other personal and valuable items was removed. I ask the owner where was my husband belongings and he wasn't able to explain what happen to missing items from the date August 10th of last payment received up until Sept 6th when I took over unit contract. I know they have cameras to verify who/when other belonging disappeared. I filed a police report because this action is unacceptable. It appears my items was stolen at this storage without any explanation or backup cameras to identify I'm TOTALLY DISAPPOINTED and will never use or recommend this UHaul Storage location to ANYONE!

Jose A | Premières impressionsI'm not sure if when I originally made the reservation that I spoke with a representative from this location specifically so I don't want to speak negatively about them, but overall I was disappointed with the storage facility experience. When I called to make the reservation months in advance, I spoke with some uHaul representative and explained to them what I have for furniture and they guaranteed the unit they were setting me up with would fit all of my stuff, well yesterday when I went to move in, we checked in and then drove back to the unit just to find there was NO WAY my stuff was fitting in there. I'm not even convinced that the unit was actually the dimensions we were given. Again, pretty disappointing and then they had no extra available units so I had to come up with a completely different plan and ended up not even using uHaul storage at all.

I get it, people aren't always a great driver. But to say that while he's trying to park a 26 foot truck in such a small gated facility. I mean, it's completely disrespectful. Of course, the rep apologized when i realized i was in the office when he said it. But still... you're trying to run a business and literally call someone out who is paying you on their parking skills. It's a little outrageous. It's like me calling someone an a-hole in front of their wife for not putting the shopping cart in its proper place on the parking lot once you're done using it. You just don't do it. I'd still suggest going to uhaul, just not the one i was renting out of.
