I filled the truck. Provided a receipt. It was not acknowledged. I was told I had to pay an extra $50 for gas because of the gauge. However I showed I receipt of gas purchased not even 1 mile away not even 15 minutes old. I didn't think it was fair but being a female I had to suck it up. Anna has always been great but it seems every time I go this location there is an issue. From blocking my truck when I had a pre-arranged 5am pick up, so I had to hang around and wait for 2 hours for staff to arrive to get my truck out, through to making my reservation for a trailer 3 days in advance and then being told, upon arrival, that they had no trailers and I should have to drive around the valley and wait for opening times at other locations to find a trailer. That is not my job. If you know the trailer is not going to be in stock, the onus is on YOU to find another trailer and have it delivered to the location. I had absolutely no choice, due to time constraints, to take an open trailer which was far from suitable. It was stressful, my items were at risk and I had to put most of my items in my SUV for safety. I was promised a $50 refund due to your failure to guarantee my reservation and it was not credited to my account. I am not sure how much longer I can tolerate regular debacles with UHaul. I might just buy my own trailer to save these kind of headaches in the future.DEVON B.

The truck was supposed to have over a quarter tank of gas? The gas light came on before I made it to my condo on Central, less than ten miles away. Very disappointing so I left half a tank for your next customer so they might not have the same negative experienceAaron B.
U-Haul, I rented a pick up truck yesterday and was told at the counter that there is 1/4 tank of fuel and to bring it back at that level. When I got to the truck there was not 1/4 tank it was less than that (2 lines above empty). Rather than have to waste my time and go back into the counter I took a photo of the fuel level. I returned the truck with the fuel at 3 lines above empty so actually came back with more fuel than when I left. I explained this to the guy who was checking me out so I would not get charged any extra on fuel. I get my e-mail receipt that day and saw that I WAS CHARGED A FUEL DUTY PLUS FUEL! I then have to go and waste my time (calling U-Haul twice) to get it sorted and get the refund. The return has been posted but no apology on the call just a crap attitude of "whatever". Not happy! The personnel expected us to back the trailer into its parking spot around the back of the building instead of them doing it. I worked at uhaul many years ago and it is not the customer's responsibility to park a trailer after it has been returned, it is the employee's responsibility! very unimpressed with the personnel at the 28th street and Indian school location in Phoenix.Patricia D.
I had an issue upon returning the truck - I was charged for an extra day because it was a few minutes after 5 p.m. But the manager (Anna) did a great job of addressing and fixing the issue once I brought it to her attention. The van I rented had a transmission problem shifting. I would accelerate past 2nd gear and let go of acceleration, the engine would Rev loudly as it downshift. It was kinda scary after 2nd gear. U let up and the engine revs high a jerks backbrian J.

Checking in was easy, everyone was nice but that's where it stopped. It would have been nice to have the truck loaded with the appliance dollyâ€¦.you have 3 grown men just chatting it up, one rolls the utility dolly to me and I had to load it alone, no offer to assist, not another customer in sight. I'd like to think if I was an elderly female maybe they would have offered to help but because I'm younger there's no need. The truck was filthy, an empty big soda cup in the back seat. When I returned I pulled into the bay as instructed, the sign reads stay in vehicle and someone will be there to check you out. I waited around 7 minutes and no one comes so I go inside to find the same guys just chatting it up plus 1 more, no customers in line, and one just sitting on his phone by the area closest to the checkin bay. I asked what do I do they said just leave the keys in the carâ€¦it was 12:30pm. No customersâ€¦I left with a pit in my stomachâ€¦what if they damage the vehicle and blame me, I should've forced them to check the vehicle before I left so I was covered. Any who, the thoughts that come to my mind when thinking about the crew that day are lazy, bored, no awareness of customer service, definitely ain't going above and beyondâ€¦they actually did the complete opposite. 4 grow men working and not another customer in sight but still had me driving a filthy truck and did not bother to come out to check in the truck(Per your sign). As an HR Manager, I'd be furious if I knew we were paying people to stand around on their cell phones and not help customers. I am aware it's slim pickings out there so finding quality people is hardâ€¦maybe focus on quality and not quantity?Claudia G.

The area for parking cars was not well maintained and very dirty. Bird droppings and dead birds were everywhere. When I parked my vehicle in the assigned spot, it was covered in bird feces in a very short time. Ended up not wanting to use the space. Overall great reviews with one exception. The online storage unit process is not clear about how you get to your storage unit. I had to change my reservation after learning the only means of second floor access was via a stairwell. I had to pick something with drive up access so I could unload heavy items using a ramp and a hand truck. My only comment is that sometimes rules should be bent or modified in certain situations. While I found the staff to be overall helpful there were a few instances that flat "no" could have been a "maybe". One such example was I arrived early at the facility to get some things out of my storage. This was about 20 minutes before the units were to open (unless you had 24 hour access which I did not). I was told no and had to wait. My only other concern is that I get charged for a lot of little extra things that my current storage offers for free. This is one of the reasons why I left. Staff very rude told me I was set up for auto pay then entered my name and address in wrong so I would not get mail. When I confronted them on huge late fees and their mistakes the response was to bad pay or else. Terrible place never again.....Shelley K. | Expérience générale

Worst customer service I have experienced in a long time staff at 2626 e. Indian school rd. was not interested in customer service at all , not friendly , not helpful and not interested in the least . this is not the last bad review I will be posting .steve b. | Expérience générale
