The young lady that serviced me was Excellent!!! Very knowledgeable, fast and just an outright sweetheart!!! Made sure truck and unit was clean. Keep up the good work!!!

This is the second time we have used this location and the same gentleman that helped with the previous tow behind trailer last time brought the 26-ft truck to the front of the driveway with perfect timing yesterday. We drove up from Louisiana and let them know that we would arrive close to 3:30 and he was finishing moving the truck as we pulled into the location. The only issue was not having the moving pads, but this was a short move for our daughter between 2 apartments. We only needed the truck for about 2 hours and 6 miles. I would definitely recommend using this service again.

There was not a person to be found to let us out of the gate after attaching the trailer we assumed was ours (only 5x8 trailer on lot) and walking around looking for 30 minutes for someone (office was empty) until finally a girl showed up and checked us out. Seemed understaffed. Time is of essence when ppl are moving.

So I don't really know if the experience of using the storage units will be great or not yet. However, everyone I have spoken with and in person or over the phone has been extremely helpful and thorough. So customer service gets an A+ from me thus far.

Benjamin G.Jordan is THE BEST. He was friendly, helpful and went WAY beyond the call of duty. Long story short… I had planned to take Uber home but forgot my phone. He worked diligently, on a Saturday night, to try to get me a ride through Uber, Lyft and yellow cab. Between customers, he made every effort to get me home. In the meantime we had a wonderful conversation. You need to give that guy a promotion!!!

The 26ft moving truck pick up time was supposed to be Monday the 30th at noon instead of 2:30 according to the reservation time. There was a miscommunication with the 1-800 Uhaul representative but the gentleman at the office resolved it smoothly and let me pickup the moving truck at noon. His communication is very clear and respectful. The truck has approximately 24K miles on it and very clean. It was parked very close to the office for me to come out and drive it. I would recommend this Uhaul rental location most definitely.

You have been in the community for year but at the pace you are going I don't see any good coming to your company. Treat customers the way you would want to be treated.

Hopefully this employee has since been inserted into management skill training along with Jordan. My experience with Jordan upon termination of this account was pleasant.
Juanita W. | Expérience généraleinitial reservation was not at the place reserved online. Luckily, i was directed to a place not far away that had a truck. The representative at the front desk was high as a kite and indifferent. There was no utility dolly liked reserved and the rep told me i could "look around" and see if i could see one. Gas was not what was registered on paperwork and therefore had to add to it. Upon returning early, I asked "what else is needed from me" and all I got was " you'll get an email" . Uhaul's market share is unprecedented in the area. A continuation of this will eventually place you out of the market once competitors move in.

KYLER S.The staff at this location were great. However, the staff that manage incoming calls were NOT. I made an online reservation for a trailer and utility dolly. When I arrived, he apologized and let me know that they did not have any at their location. He said it would be best to call another location to see if they had any available. I called the nearest location (or at least the number that is posted for it online) and was directed to what I am assuming was a call center since the woman I spoke with was not in store. She took my information, including card information, and said she made a reservation for a dolly at a nearby location, and said I should receive a text confirmation shortly. I drive to the other location (15 minutes away) and had not received a text, so while I am waiting in line I call back to check and make sure everything went through. I call the same number, but am connected with a different person. He says he doesn't see a new reservation and asks me to hold for a manager. When she comes on the line, I explain everything to her and she says they don't typically make reservations just for dollies and that must be why it didn't go through, and that I would have to call individual stores to verify if they had any available because they are unable to track inventory of those items online...at this point I'm frustrated because I've driven out of my way to another location, waited an additional 15 minutes in line (while simultaneously on hold for the manager on my phone) just for her to tell me that the reservation I was told was made was actually never made because they can't, and that I would need to call specific stores which I could not do because each time it sends me through to a call center representative. By this time I had finally made it to the front of the line, and the employee that called me up had overheard some of my conversation with the person on the phone so she offered to call some of the nearby stores since she had a direct line to them. They unfortunately didn't, but I sincerely appreciated her trying. I understand that a dolly being unavailable is out of all of these employees control, but if the first person I had spoken to had simply told me the same information as the last person, I would've just said we'll figure out how to do it without the dolly and went on my way. Instead, I wasted over an hour of valuable moving time when I didn't have it to spare.

There was no supervised flow of traffic, because vehicles blocked your movement. Management should be informed to resolve unpleasant circumstances.

Make inside enclosed climate control storage units with building access with double doors where you can access them with larger furniture or whatever. We had to store an art piece at a location at UAB because it wouldn't fit in the single access doors. It was an 4X8X2 enclosed art piece crate. We lacked about 2 inches from being able to get it through the inside access doors to the hallway to our storage room. But besides that, no complaints what so ever. Thanks Mr Phillips.

Also I need to get in touch with someone and cannot connect with a human about this storage facility. I've called multiple times and been on hold for the longest wait times eventually having to hang up, I've emailed, tried online chat and still cannot get the help I need. I hired movers who showed up with two movers when I ordered 3. Then it was very difficult to get my refund, because at one point they hung on when I called. Four times in a row. They wouldn't answer they just picked up and hung up. It was not a pleasant uhaul experience.

I need to make sure I'm not charged $1 000 my original drop off on the phone was Bessemer RD 35208 bham then an hour after the drop off a representative called me warning me of outrageous charges. We used the truck in a 10hr time frame, utilized UHAUL storage I spent over $600 in one day with this company now threats of a $1000 charge because a communications error. The staff were very friendly and helped show us where our unit was and was very helpful in showing us the size options of the units. Fast forward to a week later - my husband drives over to drop off some items at the unit. Our code isn't working and he's confused as to why. Turns out we were "moved out of the system", our code was cancelled and a lock was put on our unit. Absolutely no notice whatsoever. Had we not shown up today our unit would have probably been sold, cleaned out, etc. And all of our belongings gone. Is it customary to move someone out without any notice whatsoever?!? He ended up having to resubmit all our information and start a new contract since our other one had been cancelled out. Thankfully we showed up today or who knows what would have happened.
