Mattie D.It would have been a 5 star if I would have got it on Thursday when I needed it. I called to see if they had one and they did at that time, I was not asked to reserve it on the phone. By the time I got there (an hour from the phone call) someone reserved it online. But the guys on Saturday night shift, was awesome. Nice friendly employees.

Christopher W.Went to pickup at 6am. The vehicle was blocked in. Luckily I was able to move a number of trailers and work the vehicle out. Staff knew about the rental the day before and didn't care enough to make sure it was able to be gotten out easily.
Christopher S.Store supposedly opened at 7 but while waiting one employee got out of their vehicle and asked if I was waiting for a rental and told him yes. He replied that I would have to wait because the other employee had the keys to unlock and open the store was just leaving his house. Once I received keys to the truck I couldn't look it over because the parking lot was so crowded with rental trucks so took it to my house to pick up the stuff I was moving and noticed a text from uhaul asking me to confirm license plate and report and existing damage to vehicle. I clicked on the link and was told it had already expired. As I was checking the vehicle out I noticed there was a padlock on the trailer door and no way to open. I called the store and was told there were 2 keys on their keychain. Double checking I confirmed there was only one key. Lucky I had a locksmith at the house changing locks and he was able to pick the lock to allow me access to load my stuff I into the truck.

Folks were pulling their cars thru which waa blocking space for tje uhauls to come in,. ..another customer and i had a,confrontation because he coudnt get off the lot because i pulled the uhaul thru. The customer service guy finally pulled the truck into a parking spot right in front of the service door. Location is bad, traffic there, im grateful nothing more happened than it did.

Jacob C.The staff was courteous and professional. The truck was clean but was making a loud noise while driving. It sounded like a beating was going out or the brakes were very worn. I called the location that we picked the truck up from and informed them of the noise and our concern of it breaking down on us but they just said that it had been okay after the last use and was safe and that it would be noted. When we returned the truck a few hours later the guy didn't see it mentioned on the computer. He too said he would note it. Hopefully he did and the truck was checked properly!
Jeanette B.When using this location it never seems that the employees working are working as a team. Devils advocate - I have no idea what the life of a U-Haul associate is like; but communication of who's doing what, would go a long way. The location itself is not easy to get in and out of; due to the weird layout of the lot itself or because customers just drop of equipment wherever. Also, if seems to be impossible to find a U-Haul site in BG that allows for a truck pick up that you can drop off in another city. Recently had to move someone to Murray and had to bring the truck BACK to BG. But, it makes since when miles are not included in the reservation AND it's 99 cents per mile.
Zach L.Honestly, hard to even tell where the door is to go in. I told the guy the I was dropping off, and he just looked at me. Gave no back up support. Barely showed us where to drop it. He was just looking at his phone. He didn't even communicate when we were finished.

TROY DAN C.I was very pleased with the customer service. I haven't had to get a storage unit in a long time and when I did, I had to buy my own lock. So PLEASED that I didn't have to this time because my money was running low. SUGGESTION... Maybe when a customer rents a truck with or without storage maybe offer a free box or two or buy one get one free. Maybe some kind of rewards program for the customers that pay their storage on time.

The guy moves the first truck looks at me and says you can work around that one right and I said no I can't it's too close I don't wanna risk it and the employee just shakes his head with an attitude and walks away . I pay for a full month of storage move out the third day and I can't even get a refund uhual sucks and I will not be back and I will not be recommending you guys to anybody.

On top of no elevator being in the building so I was lugging everything upstairs alone. Not the best experience but yeah.

Montrell G. | Expérience généraleHow can I recommend this storage facility when over a thousand dollars worth of my things were stolen from it in a way I was not aware of to about two months ago, when I first thought that things were misplaced but once I started moving things into my apartment I realized that things were missing from my storage unit. I was the only one to access to my keys. When I told the assistant manager I was told this could not happen, the lock could not be picked. That the alarm would go off if the door was opened. Well it was picked, someone went into it, I told them I think it was someone who worked or works there. I trusted U Haul, I been with them for five years and I used them to move several times but I will never be able to trust them with my storage. ⚜️

It is not their fault that uhaul's system goes down every first of the month making it inconvenient to people that have to use them at that time, but through it all the management and staff remain professional while being cursed at for something out of their hands.

They said they needed permission to do that and i had to fill out a paper. when i am 300 miles away. SO I AM GOING TO SUE THEM.
Jeff B. | Expérience généraleDuring the pandemic businesses were giving allowances to help everyone due to the Covid by removing late charges, etc. While the did work on a payment arrangement one time. Other times I called to get assistance with payment, I couldn't get it. A comment was made during one conversation that I was always late well yes, we were struggling financially and my husband had been in an accident. Whether I call the store or the corporate line it did not change the type of service that was received. So calling corporate with unresolved issues was a waste of time.! Another thing if you leave a message for the manager there it is like a week before you get a call back , if you get one at all. Several times I wanted to just grab something quick because the trucks were always parked in front of my unit.

Why do you require 3 different phone numbers, contact names of third parties, etc? Yard at your facility at Bowling Green is very crowded as well.
