The people that run the Campbell's Lane store location in Bowling Green are some of the nicest and attentive people in the business. I always feel appreciated and well-taken care of when I'm in the store. I've rented from them on three separate occasions and I wouldn't rent anywhere else. The store is neat and well-organized and the trucks are clean. No improvements; just keep on providing the great service. Merci.ROBERT C.

During the pandemic businesses were giving allowances to help everyone due to the Covid by removing late charges, etc. While the did work on a payment arrangement one time. Other times I called to get assistance with payment, I couldn't get it. A comment was made during one conversation that I was always late well yes, we were struggling financially and my husband had been in an accident. Whether I call the store or the corporate line it did not change the type of service that was received. So calling corporate with unresolved issues was a waste of time.! Another thing if you leave a message for the manager there it is like a week before you get a call back , if you get one at all. The drop of box was impossible to find as we were not directed to use a slot in the door as the place to set our keys. The call line was rude and not helpful in helping us locate where the keys should be dropped off nor were we told to drop it there by the person who gave us the keys in the first place.Madison B.

I bought a 20 dollar flat panel tv moving box. During the rental they told me that everything was loaded into the truck. And I was all set to go. When I arrived to the moving location the other items I ordered mostly were inside. However the tv box was not. I asked if they could bring it to the location, because I did not want to drive that big truck over their to pick it up. I was told no. I was told my account would be credited for their mistake. My account was not. Not only was I charged full price but when I needed the truck for just 6 hours more I was billed another 57 dollars. Bringing my total to over 240 dollars. I got moving rates from movers close to this amount. I have rented from uhaul twice in the past two months. If this isn't fixed, I will never recommend or personally use uhaul services again.DEREK S.

The person who helped me behind the desk was rude. She said in a loud voice, â€œSTAND BEHIND THE BOX.â€ I had no idea what she was talking about at first. The whole setup with the payment/card swipe machines sitting on boxes so far away from the counter and the employee was weird. I get the need for social distancing, but good grief. Be nice to people. Not a welcoming atmosphere with her around. There was a nice gentleman who helped. Keep him and ditch her (or at least teach her customer service skills).crista B.

The ramp would not deploy. Headlight knob was missing. Did not allow for usage of lights while loading truck. The missing knob was a known issue according to multiple associates at this location. Made the whole move more difficult with faulty equipment.Amador R.

The inside of the trailer smelled like cow manure. Very distinct smell. Also the guy that put the ball on the receiver hitch on my vehicle, was put on upside down which made the trailer tilt forward and not level. I drive this way 500 miles knowing nothing about how it was suppose to be attached. When I arrived at my destination, my son in law noticed it was not attached correctly.Kathy W.
Everyone should know this process if nothing like renting a car. Because of Covid restrictions only one person is allowed inside when 2 of us needed to be in there. So one of us stood outside the door in 20 degree weather. No other customers were inside. The truck wasn't gassed up. They don't have moving pad, and said they hadn't in months. No straps on the truck. The mileage was figured wrong. Make sure you have a Uhaul account if you are trying to check out. We were not told this in advance. It's an unpleasant customer service experience. I also learned I paid a premium because it was weekend and 1 way. The online rental didn't offer any competitive pricing options. I will definitely look for another way to rent a truck in the future. Very unpleasant experience. The truck was in good condition and functioned well, so I won't give the lowest rating. Customer service should be more of a focus.Robert D.

Truck had a popping in the front end. Hadn't been cleaned in a while based on the amount of dust on the dash. Still had spilled coffee spots in and around the cup holders. Mileage was off when I picked it up and of course when I went to dispute that the website wasn't working ( not a big deal as it was only 2 miles). Upon dropping off I was told to make sure it was on location by 10:00am on a Sunday (to avoid being charged an extra day). Because the location was closed on Sunday's I was charged a 20 $after hours fee. I also was charged an additional 30 $for fuel even though I took a picture showing it had adequate fuel to match the mileage. It was my only option at the time so I didn't have a choice but to be taken advantage of. Would not recommend anyone unless you're prepared to get ripped off.GEORGE E.

My rent for u haul for one day and they charge me for two days. I received u haul at 10,4 AM ON 01.17.2021,I returned at 10,24 AM ON 01.18.2021 SO ONLY 24 HOURS BUT THEY CHARHE ME TWO DAYS. the locking mechanism was broken which was unawre to me as I have never used a trailer before. I was made aware of this as the trailer OPENED ON THE HIGHWAY. Causing me to loose several belongings. Upon this happening, i was made aware of the old/broken mechanism by a truck driver whom works with trailers for a living.LAURA R.
